    Hi ..
    Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > Safari then tap to clear History, Cookies, and Data then restart your iPhone.
No data is lost due to a reset.

  • Data getting cleared

Hi i we have an FDM application which is used to export base level data in essbase accross base scenarios and base level entities.
now there are three main base level sceanrios , the problem is that after exporting the data in essbase the base level data across one base level scenario is getting cleared.I know it sounds weird but its actuly happening , the reason why i think this might be related to FDM is because i have thorougly checked the scripts and also there are three verions Ver1,Ver2,Ver3 out of which the data through FDM always comes at Ver1 and that is the only version where the data across a base level scenario "Scn1" is getting cleared.now the thing is that i am not able to find what is that exact step after which this is occuring, i have tested in the test environment that data is getting exported properly for two entities and everything is fine but the base level data again is getting deleted after some days !!!!
now the biggest problem is that i am not able to find the activity which is triggering this action so as to how that data is getting cleared , i will definately check in FDM as well but is there anythiong we can do from Essbase end to find out that what or maybe at least when is this action being triggered, maybe by some audit or something.
    Please help ! ! !

Could you use a trigger and test for when that data goes to #Missing? Then you could work through the logs and figure out what was happening when the clear occurred.

If you want some good examples of how to make triggers work, check out our very own Glenn Schwartzberg's "Little Used Features of Essbase (Like Data Mining and Triggers!)" presentation at www.odtug.com in the Tech Resources section.
I am not an FDM expert to put it mildly, but export steps that remove data -- that seems pretty unlikely. Are you sure you're not doing something "brilliant" to make the data go away? I find that in cases like this, I am often doing something mind-shatteringly dumb. I get to kick myself all day long upon discovery. Happy times.

  • How to avoid clear data in the block in a form

    Hi All
I am using Oracle form 10g and db 10g.
My form i have a list item in my main canvas. It has a value of (EXPENSE,AMOUNT,SUPPLIER,ACCOUNT).
The user used to select the list item one by one and used to enter values in the each canvas assigned to the Item(expense, amount, supplier, account) and go for a save.
For instance when the user enter the value in expense ,amount and supplier and again back when the user navigate back to amount the entered value get cleared.
how to avoid the data get cleared.
    Thanks & regards
    Srikkanth

you can use EXECUTE_QUERY built-in to populate the data when that canvas or block instance. If it need at block level write this at When New Block Instance. if it a tab page then you can write when tab page change. If need where condition, add block level where condition.

Please let me know how to avoid receiving the spam (from the spam folder on the server) into my email accounts on the iPad.  It is very annoying!

You actually cannot do anything to your ipad when its locked but look at pictures the time and date, you need to restore it, and if it dosent let you restore, good luck chuck Heres how to restore it: Okay, i only know the itunes way soz, lol. Try to connect your ipad to itunes, if it does let you then you should be able to select the device you have in the corner somewhere, once you do that you should see a screen that looks sort of like your ipads setting, you should have a button that says "Restore" click that and your ipad should be restored. If that dosent work you should try going to your regular office depot or something. Good Luck!

  • FB01 Invoice posting..When & how do this invoice document get cleared...

    Hi,
    I posted a document in FB01.
    when ever i post it
the above document is showing in Open item in FBL1N (t-code).
when& how  to this document show in cleared item..?
    Documet type :VI......tried VO,BM,BT
    Specification:
    Posting invoice  PSKY : 31
    Vendor : XXXXXX
    towards:
    GL account : XXXXXXXX
    Debt   PSKY : 40
can Someone help in how to clear this document...!
possible way for automatic payment will be good...
    Thanks,
    Praveen

    Hi Praveen,
U have to understand the functionality of open and cleared line items. When u use posting key 31, u are posting a vendor invoice. Any invoice (or any document for that matter) when posted will have the open status.
Now that invoice will get cleared when it is actually cleared against another document (outgoing payment in ur case)
Goto F-53 and give the required inputs (amount ,vendor number , bank account etc)  and process any of the open items(ie original invoice) in that vendor account. Once that payment document  get posted, it clears the original invoice also. Just test it and u'll understand.
The same can be done in automatic payment also, but u need to do all the customizing in FBZP and then run the program through F110. That also clears the open vendor invoices.
    Best Regards

  • After writing into serial port, the same message gets bounced back into the Inqueue also. If anyone know how to avoid this, please rpely.

    Hi,
After writing into serial port, the same message gets bounced back into the Inqueue also. If anyone know how to avoid this, please reply.
    Thanks,
    Ganesh

If you disconnect the cable going to the serial device, do you still get the echo? If so you have something going on in the port setup. If disconnecting the cable stops the echo then the device you're talking to is doing it - which would be my bet. One thing to check is whether this might not be normal operation. I have seen devices that if a command was successful, it simply echo'd back the command string you had sent. Also many serial devices have setting for specifying whether they are to echo commands.

I have an imac 27" 6 months old. When i turn it on after 20-25 mnts the screen gets vapourized. After an hour it gets cleared. How serious is it ?

Contact Apple Service, iMac Service or Apple's Express Lane and get it repaired/replaced. I had the display on my 27" iMac go south three months after buying it and they replaced it due to a similar fault. Do note that if you have AppleCare's protection plan and you're within 50 miles (80 KM) of an Apple repair station, you're eligible for onsite repair since yours is a desktop machine.

  • How to get CLEAR photos on the Touch?

I love my iPod touch, but there's one thing that has always bothered my - photos sync'd through iPhoto-->iTunes are grainy and have bad color. Until now, I've been unable to prove this - but finally I've found a way to prove that it's not just in my head. So, I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to get clear photos on the Touch ... ?
First of all, after using the app "PhoneView" to download my sync'd pictures from my iPod BACK to my Mac, I've noticed that the resolutions are different for pictures, depending on whether their orientation is portrait or landscape. For portrait 4x6 images, the resolution is indeed 480x320. However, for landscape orientation, the resolution is consistently 640x426. I think it's kind of odd that iTunes would be sizing photos differently depending on their orientation ... I usually have my full-resolution pictures in iPhoto and sync those images through iTunes, but today I also tried manually resizing my pictures to 640x426 (landscape) and 480x320 (portrait) and then syncing them as a folder, rather than through iPhoto. The results were the same as doing it through iPhoto: disappointing. I've put together a sample, below:
    and another example here.
As you can see, even the manually resized images are turning out horribly grainy. What's even more disappointing than the image quality, however, is the file size: my original JPG is 84KB, but the iTunes' "optimized" JPG is five times as large (456KB) with inaccurate color and awful grain to boot. I mean, it looks like someone dribbled a basketball all over a glossy print (seriously, that grain's pattern is an exact match with the grain on a basketball) ... Is it supposed to look like that?
+After examining the EXIF data for both pictures, I've noticed another oddity which explains the bad color at least - when iTunes 'optimizes' pictures for the iPod, it apparently assigns them your monitor's color profile! Was this just an oversight that has yet to be corrected? When I export my pictures from Lightroom to iPhoto, I always use the sRGB profile because it's the most standard profile to use when sharing pictures (posting online, emailing, etc) ... My iMac's color profile is a custom Spyder2Pro profile, but that profile is only accurate for THIS MONITOR - certainly not my iPod! Anyway, I've uploaded the original pictures if anyone is interested in checking them out - you can download them in a zip archive here.+
This is the second iPod I've noticed grainy pictures with, so I know it's not just defective hardware. So I guess my question is simple: does anyone know of ANY way to get clear photos sync'd with the iPod Touch or iPhone? I've poked through plists in iTunes.app and preferences, etc - but I haven't found anything. Any ideas?

    Thanks for the reply, Duddo.
I guess you're right, Apple probably just wanted to simplify the syncing process and make it consistent for all users. And no, most users probably won't notice that awful grain and poor color reproduction.
That said, I think it's a real shame to waste the capabilities of the iPhone/Touch like this. Wasting storage space is asinine (increasing file size 5X when 'optimizing'?!) not only due to the limited storage space available in the first place, but also due to the fact that smaller files are quicker and easier to load and manipulate. Overwriting color profiles is just sloppy coding, an oversight - hopefully one they'll soon fix. But the biggest problem for me is that the pinch/zoom functionality is USELESS because if you zoom in at all, the grain is so blatantly obvious. I found an old discussion thread on another forum which mentions this problem, according to several posters there, the grain problem was introduced AFTER the iPhone launched (meaning it can likely be corrected in a firmware update or an iTunes update) ... You can check out that discussion here, if you're interested:
    http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/iphone/not-optimize-photos-8264.html
Anyway thanks again for your reply. I'll keep my eye on this thread and if I hear anything about this issue (or a workaround) I'll be sure to post it!

  • How to avoid withholding tax posting in the case of ERS

    Hi
We are trying to process Rent using Frame work Order.
The issue here is withholding tax codes maintained for other purposes like Professional Fee, etc in the vendor master gets picked up automatically in this Rent invoice and the relevant WH Tax postings are made in the accounting document.
Being ERS and usage of T code MRRL, the invoice generation is automatic instead of manual MIRO. Hence, user has no control to deselect withholding tax codes while generating invoices.
Appreicate any suggestions how to avoid this?
    OR
Is there any way of posting rent using frame work order instead of ERS (ie MRRL)?
Please let me know if I m not clear.
    Thanks
    Sridevi
PS: In Spain, there is no WH tax on Rent

    Hi,
Assign a new Accounting Document to T. Code "MRIS" in OMR4.
First create a new Document Type
Then Assign Document Types in Invoice Verification
Now go to OBBH - Substitution in Accounting Documents and write substitution for this new FI Doc Type and T. Code MRIS. Here take help of your FI consultant.
You can use field XREF3 - Cash Flow, and keep constant vale for this as "Blank" since it is Relevant with Cash Flow.
