How to block modification in object form

Hi all,
Is there a way to block any modification in oject form (both parent and child) after the request was submitted?
Currently when the request is raised,OIM (9.1.0.2) alows us to view and edit object form values.Is there any way to block this edit functionality ?

Still it didn't work.
My requirement is this:
A user raises a request for a resouce by providing values in parent and child object forms.
Suppose that he has given group1 in child form and have submitted the request.
Before this request gets approved he wants to add group2 along with group1 in child form.
Now he goes to request details page and edit the child object form by adding group2 in child form and when the request gets approved the user got created in the target with two groups.
My requirement is to block the user from adding group2 in child table after the request is submitted.
I think in this case since a new record is getting inserted in child table , the end user is able to update his request with new group.

How to block modification of a VPN profile ? (password and address)

Hello,
we use iPhone Configuration Utility 2.2 to deploy the iPhone in our Enterprise and we are surprised by the fact that it's impossible to block the modifications a parameter configured in the profile.
For example, for VPN, it's possible for the end-user to change the address of connection.
But our biggest problem is that it's impossible to have a rule that will ask the VPN password to the user every time he wants to connect.
It's really a lack of security because if the password is stored in the VPN configuration then everybody with the iPhone unlocked in his hand can connect to the Enterprise !!!
Is there a way to block such a thing ?

When I changed the credentials manually, it worked correctly,but from the application, when I logout from 'a', 'a' and log in to 'b', 'b', I got a valuable information.

How to attach a WebDynpro Adobe form to backend Business Object?

Hello,
I would like to know if anyone has created an Interactive Adobe Form, and then after the user has filled it out (online, via WebDynpro view), attach the pdf form to an SAP Document, for example, Order, Purchase Order or Contract?
I know how to create the WebDynpro Interactive Form, and I then have the pdf object in context attribute of WebDynpro. But am not sure how to do the next step of taking that pdf and attaching it to the SAP Document.
Any suggestions or code samples would be greatly appreciated.

The interactiveForm UI element has one action called onSubmit. This action is triggered when any server event occurs within the Adobe Form itself. So if you place a submitButton from the Web Dynpro Native (assuming you are using ZCI forms) within the form, it will automatically trigger the onSubmit action and WD event handler.
Here is a video that shows the process - although it is a little bit older and uses ACFx forms. You would want to use the new ZCI form approach. The general process for linking the events is the same however.

You create three release indicators in IMG>MM>PUR>PO>REL PRO FOR PO>REL INDICATORS with options as per your requirement. Now assign these indicators while doing settings for rel strategies in release statuses..

As Francois pointed out Oracle forms has nothing to do with html based technology. The way you can get the equivalent effect of creating consistancy in the way your objects are displayed is by creating a set of items you want and alter their apperance and behaviour and place them into object libraries (one library should do the trick). From there you subclass all of you forms items off these libraries.

PLease check in OMR4 and in OBA7 that for the document types the athorizations groups are maintained.

OIM11gR2 - How to migrate an Application Instance Form

Hello,
I'm trying to migrate an Application Instance Form from my Dev env to my QA env.
My target system is SAP
I performed the following steps in Dev:
1. Installed and configured the SAP Connector (no problem here)
2. Created a sandbox
3. Created an Application Instance
4. Created the Application Instance Form
5. Ran a target reconciliation to confirm everything is working properly
6. Exported the sandbox
7. Published the sandbox
8. Via Deployment Manager I exported all objects related to SAP (Resource object, Process Forms, Lookups etc.)
In QA I did:
9. Installed and configured the SAP Connector (no problem here)
10. Via Deployment Manager I imported the objects related to SAP
11. Imported the sandbox
Problem:
To my surprise, the Application Instance does not have a Form in the QA env.
I had to create it manually by performing the following:
12. Create a sandbox
13. Open the Application Instance definition
14. Click on create (to create a form)
15. Entered the same name I used in my Dev environment
16. Received an error message saying that the form already exists
17. Entered a different name for the Form
18. Saved
19. Exported the sandbox (to import in Prd)
20. Published the sandbox
21. Ran a target reconciliation to confirm everything is working properly
I tried to reproduce the problem with another (test) destination environment because I don't want to have the same problem when migrating to Prd.
I repeated the steps 9,10,11 except that I imported the sandbox exported from QA (step 19) instead.
The same problem: Application Instance definition has no Form attached to it in my test destination environment.
If I try to create the form with the same name, it gives an error message saying it is already there.
Is my procedure wrong?
Is there an official procedure explaining how to migrate only Application Instance Form from one env to another?
My env:
OS: Windows 2008 R2 SP1
OIM: 11gR2 BP7
SAP connector: 9.1.2.2.0

This is a bug: Bug:16027176
Check the [Article ID 1515225.1] which proposes a workaround that might be useful in your case (it was not in mine).
In short the workaround is:
The following order should be observed to export :
- IT Resource & Application instance in one xml
- Request DataSet in another xml
- SysAdmin Sandbox (the one defined while creating the Application Instance and the Form)
- Identity URL Sandbox (defined while customizing the fields on the Form, in the Catalogue page)

Its Application Module has a Transient View Object instance "MyEmployeesContextVOVI", as master for the child View Object instance "EmpInCtxJobVI".
On rollback the Transient View Object instance keeps its row and attribute values.
Also when passivation and activation is forced (using jbo.ampool.doampooling=false ) the Transient View Object instance seems to keep its row and attribute values.

- (q1) Why does the expression #{bindings.MyEmployeesContextVOVIIterator.dataControl.transactionDirty} evaluate as true when a Transient View Object instance attribute value is changed (as shown in screencast at http://screencast.com/t/qDvSQCgpvYdd )?
- (q2) What would be a robust approach to make a Transient View Object instance more self-contained, and manage itself to have only one single row (per instance) at all times (and as such removing the dependency on the Application Module prepareSession() as documented in "5. Don't mix GUI and JDBC together. Split them out into separate classes.
You have a good start, but you will need to loop through your resultset and also pull the ResultSet metaData for you column headings

Hi
I think you can try with Status Profile in BS02 define and assign for item category TANN.
In status profile you can block the delivery and also billing unless some changes the object status as released.
Just try and explore

If we want the password to be set as AutoComplete, please follow the steps mentioned in the below article:
Remember passwords and fill out web forms
Navigate to Tools->Internet Options->
Content tab, under AutoComplete, click settings, Select the
User names and passwords on forms check box, then click

How to block attachment deletion in a DMS document

Hi gurus,
Does anybody knows how to block some users to delete the attachment in some DMS types? Is there any configuration that can be done to control this?

Hi Renan,
in the standard each user who is able to edit the document info record (enter CV02N) is able to delete the attached originals.
However a user is not able to delete originals if the document is set to a status of status type 'S' (locked status). Within this kind of status it is not possible to delete originals and change some other document data.
So you can also try to create a authorization profile where some users are only allowed to enter document info records with a non-locked status. So you avoid that some users are able to enter document info records which are not set to a locked status.

Maybe object C_DRAW_TCS or C_DRAW_TCD could be useful for this issue.
