How to capture screen display and save it
Hello everyone,
I would like to capture what is being displayed on the screen and save it to a file or send it via http to someone else. I used to have this code but I lost it.
Your help would be highly appreciated.

Sorry to be such a moron with this, but I just don't have much experience with this iPad. I have had it for over a year and I just keep adding stuff to it and it has worked great. Now that the memory is used up, I am trying to figure out how to free up space and not lose what I have paid for.
So, Step 1 is complete, as I have "Transferred" all of the purchases.
What is Step 2? I unchecked the concert on the iTunes library, did a sync, but it's still on my iPad.

I have been using GRAB to capture screen displays. It has just stopped working since the last OSX Upgrade. Can anyone, please help restore functionality?

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505, and I use Kaspersky Internet Security. The past week, I've had problems opening Firefox - it has been slow. Today, it just won't open at all. At first I thought it was my Internet connection, so I called my provider, Comcast Cable. But I was also able to open Internet Explorer. I was told that I may have to remove Firefox, and redownload it, but it would erase all my bookmarks. How can I access Firefox and save my bookmarks?
Try starting Firefox in Safe Mode (Firefox Safe Mode, not Windows Safe Mode).
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)

Downloaded photoshop elements 12, installed ok and activated, started it and splash screen displayed and app launched then shutdown immediately.
Repeat and crashes again. Help it won't start!Solved! Tried everything in the support documents and none of it worked. Massive frustration with Adobe Chat staff who know nothing and just kept telling me to look at the support documents over and over. They also gave me a contact number in Australia that has a recorde d message saying the product is not supported! What is that about?
Finally Anand from Adobe tech support called me (from when I reopened the original support case that gave me the serial number).
Just had to rename folder SLCache in c:\program files(x86) and reaccept the EULA and reactive. Now everything works fine. Way to hard. -
Simple question: I placed a document in iCoud on my iMac and it appeared on my iOS devices.
If I change it on my iPad it changes on my iMac.
Now, how do I change it and save it on my iMac so it automatically changes on my iOS devices?Welcome to the Apple Community.
I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry. -
Acrobat pro properties how to usefull screen mode and keep page display at 100%
I am trying to create a pdf that will open in full screen mode and be a self running presentation but will display at 100% or at the actual page size and resolution.
When full screen mode is selected and with 100% selected in the properties or with actual size selected in the properties, when the pdf file runs on large screen monitor it enlarges the page display so it is no longer at 100% of size or it actual size (pages are set up at 8.5 by 11 inches full screen mode on large 20 monitor make them enlarge).
Is there setting combination that can use the full screen mode and thus use the self running presentation but still maintain the image display size and correct resolution 100% at 72 ppi.Not having problem with the pdf file autostarting, there are no movies or sounds in PDF file only transitions with auto flip are used. My issue is getting the file to display at correct size and resolution with the full screen mode also turned on in the document properties (running acrobat 9 pro on mac os 10.5.8). Using 100% or actual size or fit page in the initial view setting seems to not effect this when the full screen mode also is selected. I want the file to display at its correct size and resolution, I thought that using 100% vs actual size would make the file display at its 8.5 x 11 size or what ever size is used regardless of monitor size it is displayed on. PDF file seem to do this when the full screen mode is not used.
I thought that I had gotten this to work with full screen mode before, maybe this has changed with acrobat pro 9 on mac?
It seems there is no way to affect the display within the fullscreen mode. So for example if you set in document properties under the initial view the magnification to 50% when the the full view mode is checked it overrides this magnification setting this seems to be so if using the actual or the 100% setting. Yes the 20 or 27 inch monitor displays it larger and also distorted because the file resolution is intentionally kept at screen res 72 ppi because I need to maintain a small file size. This is not what I want to happen. I thought there was a way to control how the file displays when using the fullscreen mode. this is my making me crazy issue.

Actually what you are seeing is what it shows on your monitor. and will be different for each person's monitor. 100% on a 15" monitor is going to show much smaller than on a 27" inch monitor.

I have to capture video desktop activity (including audio) to a file using JMF. I spent hours and hours searching this... a have studied a lot of classes, examples BUT I don't know how to bind them... how to record the actvity. My project is to record screen activity, upload on a server and finally control my computer remotely from an applet (or from another java desktop application). I will use HTTP streaming (what I record I upload on a server, then stream it to the client)
Can someone show me some hints or code for modifying JVidCap example from Sun? Someone else on Sun forum said he could do it but did not say how...
I just want to modify the video capturing so that I get the screen actifity recorded. I read nearly all examples possible including Screen Grabber...

How to switch screen display to projector using fn button
Just started to use an external projector via usb with my Macbook. Can anyone advise me how to switch the display from the screen to the computer. I believe it is via the Fn button......... thanks
He might have inadvertently hit a keyboard shortcut for zoom: go to System Preferences -> Universal Access and see if Zoom is turned on. If so, turn it off and it should return to normal.
If that's not it, there is another possibility: go to System Preferences -> Displays and click on Display. Check to see that the highlighted resolution is the last (highest) one; that is the native resolution; if you reduce it, everything becomes larger.
