How to change Investment program position assignd to a wbs element

Hi all,
Could you please help me to find out which bapi can do necesary changes for a particular wbs element like investment program position and year.
The Investment position and year can be showed in cj02 transaction for a particular wbs element.

Not possible to delete link investment program position from Appropriation request

Dear specialists,
We have a problem with deleting a linked investment program position in an appropriation request (IMA3, IMA11 or IMA12).
We could edit some of the appr.req.'s but a few give an error.
Steps done:
We deleted the status BUDG from the linked projects (budgets deleted and OPSX for deletion of status).
The we run the IM27_repeat.
For the most of the appr.req.'s the linke was removed (table IMZO).
For a few of our req.'s the link is not removed so that we can't link the new progr.pos. to this appr.req.

Validation on Investment program position

Dear All,
In current configuration, a WBS element of a project is linked to an Investment program position.
When saving reservations for materials, Can we do a validation for WBS element specified in the Proc. Param of a material and the Investment program position.
Please let me know whether this can be achieved without a customization.

How to release investment program budget

Hi expert:
        We distribute original budget in investment program using Tcode Im32, but our customer require to release
original budget , because two position require to approve this budget.
         We use Tcode Im52 to distribute budget to project, our customer also approve this operation. but i donot know
whether the system provide standand release function.
        how to realize this two functions?     thank you

You are distributing budget from Investment prog. to project.
In IM there is not concept of Budget release. If you want to control your budget at Release ( which is called Active budget control ) you have to does the same in PS.
Your flow would be like that
IM32 :Change origional Prog. budget
IM52 : Budget distribution from Prog to measue i.e. Project/ WBS.
CJ32: Change release Budget. ( so, sys will check budget against this release budget )
For using Release budget funcation you have to activate avalability control in your Budget profile (OPS9 txn ) for the Release & assign that budget profile to budget profile.

Assign Investment program Position for IW31 through exit/BADI

Hi
My requirement is, I've to assign investment program details to Maintainence order (IW31) in creation mode through enhancement. I am able to do so in change mode using the FM "AIPP_ALLOCATE_POSITION_DARK", but when I use the same FM in creation mode it is throughing "Update Termination " error.
Please let me know is there any BADI/User Exit/Enhancement Point to achieve the same.

How to change ZUONR in position

hi,
i want to change the value in ZUONR in the document-position just before (or after) the document is posted.
i know that there are subsitituions, but is it possible with some of the BTE-events ? for example event 1011 or 1020 ? i think i can't change the value there ? are there other events for changing the document-position ?

There are some BAPI's to create Orders but I can't find a BAPI for that.

How to maintain a Mac
1. Make redundant backups, keeping at least one off site at all times. One backup is not enough. Don’t back up your backups; make them independent of each other. Don’t rely completely on any single backup method, such as Time Machine.
2. Keep your software up to date. In the Software Update preference pane, you can configure automatic notifications of updates to OS X and other Mac App Store products. Some third-party applications from other sources have a similar feature, if you don’t mind letting them phone home. Otherwise you have to check yourself on a regular basis. This is especially important for complex software that modifies the operating system, such as device drivers. Before installing any Apple update, you must check that all such modifications that you use are compatible.
3. Don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” “extenders,” “cleaners,” “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” or "utilities." With very few exceptions, this kind of material is useless, or worse than useless.
The more actively promoted the product, the more likely it is to be garbage. The most extreme example is the “MacKeeper” scam.
The only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for — such as creating, communicating, and playing — and does not modify the way other software works. Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it.
The free anti-malware application ClamXav is not crap, and although it’s not routinely needed, it may be useful in some environments, such as a mixed Mac-Windows enterprise network.
4. Beware of trojans. A trojan is malicious software (“malware”) that the user is duped into installing voluntarily. Such attacks were rare on the Mac platform until recently, but are now increasingly common, and increasingly dangerous.
There is some built-in protection against downloading malware, but you can’t rely on it — the attackers are always at least one day ahead of the defense. Never install software from an untrustworthy or unknown source. If in doubt, do some research. Any website that prompts you to install a “codec” or “plugin” that comes from the same site, or an unknown site, is untrustworthy. Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash Player, must be acquired directly from the developer. No intermediary is acceptable, and don’t trust links unless you know how to parse them. Any file that is automatically downloaded from a web page without your having requested it should go straight into the Trash. A website that claims you have a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with your computer, is rogue.
Because of recurring security issues in Java, it’s best to disable it in your web browsers, if it’s installed. Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This action is mandatory if you’re running any version of OS X older than 10.6.8 with the latest Java update. Note: Java has nothing to do with JavaScript, despite the similar names. Don't install Java unless you're sure you need it. Most users don't.
5. Relax, don’t do it. Besides the above, no routine maintenance is necessary or beneficial for the vast majority of users; specifically not “cleaning caches,” “zapping the PRAM,” “rebuilding the directory,” “running periodic scripts,” “deleting log files,” “scanning for viruses,” or “repairing permissions.” Such measures are for solving problems as they arise, not for maintenance.
The very height of futility is running an expensive third-party application called “Disk Warrior” when nothing is wrong, or even when something is wrong and you have backups, which you must have. Disk Warrior is a data-salvage tool, not a maintenance tool, and you will never need it if your backups are adequate. Don’t waste money on it or anything like it.

Can't change an asset that originated from a WBS element that is now closed

When we try to transfer or make a change to an asset that originated from a closed WBS element we receive the following error message.
System status CLSD is active (WBS CP-00000999-009-009)

When we remove the wbs element number under the "Account assignment for investment" heading, then we are able to perform the asset transferwithout reopening the wbs. We were wanting to use that field so that our auditors could see the wbs from which the asset was created. If we do not use that field, how can we trace an asset back to the originating wbs?

How to block reusage of archived Project definition and WBS element numbers

Dear All,
We have archived our projects using the TC SARA and the Project definition and WBS elements numbers no more exist in tables PROJ and PRPS etc.. When I now try to create a new project, the system proposes the next open number or allows to enter a number which is the same as one of the archived projects. But in our organization we cannot reuse the Project definition and WBS element numbers (even if it is archived) as a rule.
Can anybody guide me what are the possibilities to block or avoid the reusage of the numbers of archived project definition and WBS elements in a fool-proof way?

One Workaround:
Use T code OPSJ and lock the project coding mask. Doing this you can not use this mask any more.
But you want to continue using the mask but with different numbers. Not sure how this can be acheived. lets wait for others view

Change of Source Structure for Partial Settled WBS elements - CJ02

Hi
As per standard SAP, the change of source structure under settlement perameters of WBS element is not supported when the settlement of WBS element is done either partial / full.
However, the client needs this change by doing any Z-Development as one time activity (since the source structure was changed for certain WBS elements as per change in business process).
Can i Know procedure to do the Z development to modify the source structure for partial settled WBS elements and also let me know the any side effects in this regard.

I agree with Ajay. You can try to change it in Debugging mode.
The values are handed over from include LCJWBF5Q (form project_settle_single using)
Some customer have also made a modification as a permanent solution.
Unfortunately in the standard it is not possible.

I have been using BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN to create Project and WBS elements and I have done them without any errors.
Now I need help on how to create network activities.
Can anyone share on how to pass data to I_NETWORK table and I_ACTIVITY table and a brief description on what they are ?

Do the following steps
1.pass the following to i_method_project
method_project-refnumber = lv_refnum.
method_project-objecttype = 'NETWORK-ACTIVITY'.
method_project-method = 'UPDATE'.
concatenate aufnr(network nr) vornr(activity) into method_project-objectkey.
2.Into i_activity
activity-network = aufnr.
activity-activity = vornr.
3.i_activity_update
activity_update-network = 'X'.
activity_update-activity = 'X'.
It should work.If not let me know.

How to make mandatory(usr01) field for level 1 wbs elements only from CJ20N

Dear All,
I have made mandatory for "PRPS-USR01" field from CJ20N transaction
by using field exit. But mandatory field (usr01) is working for all wbs elements. I want to make this usr01 field mandatory for LEVEL 1(prps-stufe), WBS ELEMENTS(prps-posid) only. Not for level 2 and level 3 wbs elements. Please let me know how to fix it.

You could envisage the use of validation rules in PS.
Transaction OPSI or SPRO
Create a validation with a message ID (Z)
Create a step
- prerequisite : PRPS-STUFE = '001'
- Check : PRPS-USR01 <> ' '
affect a message number

How to change default program...?

In the Finder I have changed the default program for eps-files to Photoshop instead of Illustrator. However, Bridge keeps opening eps-files in Illustrator... I know I can ctrl-click and choose Open with... but I would like to change the default program for eps into Photoshop. How can I do that...? I can't find the option anywhere...

Did you try it already?, there is a sperate file type association that let's
you choose to .ai with Illustrator (see file type Illustrator)
I can only change eps together with ai and I don't want that of course!
