How to change the boundary box of a footprint

Hello,
When designing a component it is possible to draw a new symbol and to set the boundary box. But why is there no easy way (AFAIK) to change the boundary box of a footprint? Or to change the origin? I tried to select and drag the origin but this is not possible. I tried to find this in the user manual but I haven't found anything.
Any ideas? Suggestions?

It's not obvious for someone not interested in the 3D stuff. It would make more sense (IMHO) to provide a button to resize the boundary box (similar as in Multisim where a boundary box of a symbol can be resized).
BTW: why is not possible to select and drag the orgin of a boundary box of a footprint?

I have to Change the Text Box to LOV. But the Text Box is not the static one.
In the Expense Screen, when i select the particular expense type, additonal infomation is getting displayed.
There is a one additional field called 'Portfolio Code' . This is a text Box. I need to change this as LOV.
Even i am not sure how this is getting displyed. This column is mapped to attriubte14 of AP_EXPENSE_LINES_ALL table.

I want to change the check box of the itrator table rows with push button/ some thing better as to give
the table view more good look and user friendly.
Does any one has tried any other option in table view in place of check box

How to change the list box to F4 Help for Billing type in VF01

Hi All,
In VF01 for Billing type i am getting List box. Now I have to add one more field to that list box.
like F1 invoice
F2 Invoice returns.
or
Is there any possiblity of making it as F4 Help instead of List Box.

Hi ,
The list box is getting the value from the table TVFK .
You can get the table name from the VALUE TABLE of FKART which is the domain
for the field Billing Type .
You need to Update the table TVFk programatically. Like - -
TABLES : tvfk.
tvfk-FKART = 'F1'. " Billing type
tvfk-KOPGR =
tvfk-VTEXT = 'Invoice '. " Billing type description
UPDATE TVKF FROM TVKF. " Update the table
Similarly you have to update the table by the F2 and and description.
tvfk-FKART = 'F2'.
tvfk-KOPGR =
tvfk-VTEXT = 'Invoice returns'.
UPDATE TVKF FROM TVKF.

I'm trying looking for something with javax.swing.UIManager, but i just find ways to translate the UI.

Although there is no "hint box" component, so I don't know if it will help.

Click on each field and the choose Properties from either File menu (or if on Mac hold dow mouse button until context menu appears choose properties)
go to Font
choose desired size and type font,you can choose to make this the default.
Do this with each field.
Or if you have a lot of fields:
while one is selected select all of them
then go to fonts in properties
change Font and size and make default.

I do not have AA6 available right now (I can check at home this evening). I am also using AA Pro, not Std. In AA7, there is a text box tool that is a commenting tool. When I started typing, a properties toolbar came up that had the font size and such. I haven't figured out how to get the toolbar after the fact. In AA8, I selected the text box tool and then went to view and selected the properties bar (the font size and all showed then), or use Ctrl-E when editing the text. I have not been able to figure out how to edit the text in a text box after you have created it - think it is a mental block right now. Bill

The id is applied by (I think) the skin class of the ChoiceBox. You don't need to define it.
You have to apply the css in an external style sheet. You can apply the external style sheet to any parent of your choice box, or to the scene (the most usual way to do it).

Can anyone tell me how to change the color of texts inside the indicator box? I have tried to use property node but not really know how it functions.
In fact, I am writing a program for which the number inside indicator on front panel will show red color if the measured value can't reach the requirement. I am using LabView 6.1 Professional

Simply use a property node with "NumText.TextColor" and wire the correct color depending on your test result.

Yes certainly, we can do that, insert a smart shape and use it as a button, then go to the properties pane, change the Alpha to 0, that will make it transparent, and add the stroke color as red and increase the width.
In case of a button, you have to select button type as transparent and do the same.

I am trying to change the text box size of that is used in the Notes section. Currently the displayed size features 5 rows, I want to increase it.
I tried to increase the starting and ending Row numbers in the UI configuration, but it still stays the same size!
Anyone know how to resolve this problem, we really need it !

FYI: We were able to resolve the issue by changing the GETTER-method of the attribute LINES in the component GSTEXT:
method GET_P_LINES.

Thanks for any help guys. Noteworthy is horrible, in my view. But this does not matter. I simply do not want to use it, and woudl be fine with having helvetica back as the annotation typeface.
Neither is Preview responding to changes I attempt in the type menu, nor did I find an entry when using “defaults read com.apple.Preview” in the Terminal.

Sorry if this doesn't apply in Mountain Lion (no way to look at ML right now), but I see this in Preview under Mavericks:
I click the annotation button (circled in red) and draw a box. I can then change the text to any active font using the drop down menu (circled in green).

I have a screen that has a combo box and an ALV.
the combo box has the line numbers of the data in the ALV.
you can select the line item and then the ALV changes...
I fill the combo with function VRM_SET_VALUE.
all is good once the user changes the combo box.
I want to enable the user to click (hotspot) on ALV and then to ... and to change the value of the combo box to the line number he clicked on.
I couldn't change the value inside that box.
The combo box is declared as global parameter.
when I assign a value to it inside the method, it is good. but once back to PAI, it is the old value.
Do you have any idea how to set up that value?

When you load the combo box, you should be setting a "key" for each entry in the combo box.
See below:
move '2010FY' to Value-Key.
move '2010 - Full Year' to Value-Text.
append value to list.
move '2010Q1' to Value-Key.
move '2010 - Q1' to Value-Text.
append value to list.
move '2010Q2' to Value-Key.
move '2010 - Q2' to Value-Text.
append value to list.
move '2010Q3' to Value-Key.
move '2010 - Q3' to Value-Text.
append value to list.
move '2010Q4' to Value-Key.
move '2010 - Q4' to Value-Text.
append value to list.
move 'COMBO1' to name. "name of Combo box in the screen

So add these "keys" to a hidden column in the ALV grid. Then .... when the user presses a hotspot, pass the value of the hidden column (for the selected row) into the COMBO1 box.

Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
