How to check if my Bean is bound in JBoss 3.0 ?

Hey all,
I am begining with a HelloWorld session bean in Jboss 3.0.
I am able to deploy the bean successfully.
But I tried to access the service of my HelloBean using a java client
and a jsp client.
When using java client I get the following error :
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Hello not bound

Properties p = new Properties();
p.put("java.naming.factory.initial","org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory");
p.put("java.naming.factory.url.pkgs","org.jboss.naming:org.jnp.interfaces");
p.put("java.naming.provider.url","localhost");
InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext(p);
Object obj = ctx.lookup("Hello");
I am just not able to proceed further.
What could be wrong ?
Please help me out.

  • How to check if table or index bound to data cache loaded in memory?

In my system, thare are many named data caches created and certain objects bind to those data cache.
For example, I have a large table mytab which is bound to data cache mycache.
When I issue a sql like select * from mytab where x=y, run it at first time is is very slow.  run it again and again. then it very fast. it means data loaded in cahce and ready for same query.
    Question:
    1. How can I know if the table mytab has been loaded in data cache mycache?
    2. How to load mytab into data cahce mycache one time for all query in the feature?

    one way to monitor is:
    select CacheName,DBName,OwnerName,ObjectName,IndexID,sum(CachedKB) as "CachedKb"
    from master..monCachedObject
    group by CacheName,DBName,OwnerName,ObjectName,IndexID
    order by CacheName,DBName,OwnerName,ObjectName,IndexID
But, you should understand that caches have a finite size, and caches contain "pages" of objects including data pages, index pages, and LOB pages.  Also, caches may have different pool sizes, so a page can be in only one cache pool.  So, if you want  a table and all of it's indexes, text/image pages  to be loaded into a dedicated cache, you need a large enough cache to fit all of those pages, and decide which buffer pool you want them in (typically either the 1 page pool, or the 8 page pool).
Then, simply execute SQL (or dbcc) commands that access all of those pages in the manner you wish to find them in the cache.  For example, two statements, one that scans the table using 2k reads, and another that scans the index (mytab_ind1) using 2k reads.
    select count(*) from mytab plan '( i_scan mytab_cl mytab) ( prop mytab ( prefetch 2 ) ( lru ) )'
    select count(*) from mytab plan '( i_scan mytab_ind1 mytab) ( prop mytab ( prefetch 2 ) ( lru ) )'
    etc etc.
used count(*) to limit result sets of examples

  • How to use a managed bean in a bounded task flow without definig it in adfc-config

    Dear all
I create a bounded task flow without page fragments (the pages are jspx), i created a jspx page with a button that its action has bounded to a managed bean function.
i defined the managed bean on the corresponding bounded task flow, but it does not work.
But there is no problem when i define the managed bean in adfc-config.xml.
can anybody help me with this problem.
is it possible to use jspx page with backing bean in bounded task flows, without defining the beans on adfc-config?
    Thank you very much

    Dear Timo
I use jDev 11.1.1.6 and the scope is Request.Although when i use task flow page fragment and create jsff pages, there is no problem.

  • How to check an alert or LOV is displayed at Forms

Is there any other way , shall we identify  any alert/Message/LOV is opened ?
    Please advise on this.

My scenario is given below :
I have implemented the Timeout PJC (Using Bean) in my application. I have set the idle time as 30 minutes. If the Form is idle for more than 30 minutes , as per our timeout PJC logic, we have closed all the forms.
But if the user opens LOV/Messages/Alert messages , The timeout logic is waiting for user acknowledgement .We are fine with the user acknowledgement. But once the user has acknowledged , we need to reset the Timer. But currently as soon as the user gives confirmation on the alert messages , the system expires.
Please suggest how to check on this case.

If I want to make a setting of customer return, then where can I assign movement type 451 so that it will appear in OBD?
(iii) Please provide me the path of setting of SD document category ex- J,7 etc (Which appears in T-code OVLP)
    Thanks,

    Hello,
M type (Tcode OMJJ) is determine into the Delv doc on the bases of Sch line Cat(Tcode VOV6)  maintain in your sales order's item level .
The relevant Sch line Cat is determined into sales order on the bases (tcode VOV5 of
I Cat + MRP type (if any) .
And the I cat is determined into sales order based on (tcode VOV4)
Sales Doc. Type + Item cat.group (determined from material Master) + Item usage (if any) + ItemCat-HgLvItm (if any).
The std sch line cat for Return is 651.
If you want to have 451 as M  type for your material then copy std sch line cat DN and maintain 'Z' Sch Line cat with your M Type.
And determine the same to your I Cat for return in return sale order.
Before executing your process cycle have a look/check on copying control config for Return Order to Delv in Tcode VTLA.
    Hope this can assist you.
    Thanks & Regards

  • How to check JNDI contents after 9iAs startup?

    Dear all:
How to check JNDI contens after 9iAs server startup ?
Does the 9iAs have JNDI tree can show all JNDI contents.

    Hi,
define ValueChange listeners on the component and when the user hits the command link or button to navigate off t he page, check if it has been changed (the listeners would set a bloolean variable). For this to work, the navigation action needs to be handled by the bean too.

  • The database structure has been modified - how to check if it happend?

    Hello,
I have a question. How to check if the database structure has been modified? I know that there is shown a messagebox after creating table and adding some fields, but sometimes this message appear after some seconds. The problem is that I want to create table and UDO for this table, and until database structure is not modified I got an error message. If I wait and DB strucuture modifies then UDO is creating correctly.
My question is - does anyone know how to check if database structure has been modified?
    Regards,

    Hi Szymon,
I guess you are stuck up in a kinda scenario, where in, you will be populating a form with values, before the structure modifies, if this is going to be your problem, I can help you out with a work around.
In the beginning of the process, before the creation of the UDO or tables, set a boolean value to false, and once all UDO's and Tables are created, only then, should you make it true and only after the boolean becomes true, you should proceed with populating the values from the screen.
I really ament sure what your problem is, but one of my guys faced this problem, I then, thought even you might have a similar problem.

  • How to check connection from SAP to reservation system?

    Dear Experts,
May I know how to check whether the connection between SAP and the reservation system has been set up and ready to use?

You need to check the identification code issued to the enterprise by AMADEUS must be entered in the R/3 Customizing for Travel Planning under Master Data u2192 Control Parameters for Travel Planning u2192 Define sales offices and Define API access parameters.
External reservation system In the Travel Planning subcomponent Travel Management accesses an external reservation system connected to R/3 to carry out the queries on available travel services and to book the selected services. The reservation system currently available is the AMADEUS Global Travel Distribution system.
For more information, see Technical Prerequisites for Travel Planning--
    Technical Prerequisites for Travel Planning
Before you can use Travel Planning fully, a number of internal R/3 and external prerequisites or settings must be fulfilled.

    u2022 Price information
u2022 Processing of reservation by the respective provider
u2022 Synchronization of the data in SAP Travel Planning if external booking changes have been made
In the current release the external reservation system in use is AMADEUS Global Travel Distribution. AMADEUS is a subsidiary of Lufthansa, Air France, Continental Airlines and Iberia. The reservation system it provides is in worldwide use and 160,000 terminals in 37,000 travel agencies and ticket sales centers in over 130 countries are connected to it.

  • How to check SSO user from database?

    Hi:
I've posted this topic in Forms forum:
How to check SSO user from database?
then as I've been told, it's better to post it here, so ...... here is the question:
I'm writing a "before delete trigger" to insert into log table before delete. Is there a way that I know from database the current SSO user when SSO users share one database user?
Just like in Oracle Application Express there is v('APP_USER') to know the current user.
    Saad,

End users are manipulating data through Oracle Forms(and SSO through portal) and the thing I need is to trace the SSO username from database without modifying forms, I mean purely from database taking into consideration that SSO users are sharing one database user. Is it possible?
    Saad,

  • How to check  if all values from a dataset  has come to  an internal table

How to check  if all values from a dataset  has come to  an internal table ?

    Hi,
After OPEN DATASET statement check if sy-subrc = 0 if its success then proceed with split statement and save the dataset values into a internal table and while debugging the internal table you will find that whether all values get into internal table.
Checking sy-subrc after OPEN DATASET statement is must to fill up the values in the internal table.
    For e.g.
OPEN DATASET p_inpfile FOR INPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT.
      IF sy-subrc NE 0.
WRITE :/ 'No such input file' .
        EXIT.
      ELSE.
    READ DATASET p_inpfile INTO loc_string.
          IF sy-subrc NE 0.
            EXIT.
          ELSE.
            CLEAR loc2.
    *Spliting fields in the file-
REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF '#' IN wa_string WITH ' '.
SPLIT wa_string AT const INTO loc2-pernr
                                           loc2-werks
                                           loc2-persk
                                           loc2-vdsk1.
    Hope you get some idea.

    Dear J Prakash,
Do we need to check the balance based on Excise Transaction Type?
I assumed that, we need to check as per the Registers.
Similary, please clarify another doubt also.
On what basis we need to check Excise balances?
    1. Based on Excise Registers
    2. Based on Excise Transaction Types
    3. Based on G/L accounts.
