How to create a Compensation handler

Jdev 10.1.3.4
I am trying to rollback the insert statement using compensation handler.
I created a delete statement in DBAdapter and calling it from the compensation block in innerscope.
In the outer scope, I am catching the error and calling the compensation activity and i set the scope of compensation to inner scope.
when I execute the BPEL process, if the BPEL process errors out my compensation activity is not invoked.
Could somebody help me to resolve this issue?

Is this XA datasource feature available in 10g Soa suite..

I need to create it via SAPConsole transaction. Originally I intended to use LM19 to create an unassigned HU and to assign it further on via some BAPI. But I could not find any suitable BAPI for the assignment. Standard transaction LM24, allows only to create a HU with an assignement to a delivery (outbound/inbound).

Generally in case rejection , worklow always jumps to previous step.

here's how I would go about doing this...
in the entry event of EACH step I would write a code snippet that did this
1) check for wfAction of reject
2) if found, update the metadata values
3) then jump to the first step in the workflow
The code might look like this:

of course you can also include additional functions to send a special message like:

But the lines above are the only ones you need to route the workflow accordingly.
There are several things to remember:
1) rejections happen immediately. That means that you have to look for their existence in the entry event of the step they roll back INTO.
2) if you're using wfUpdateMetaData it will only work on custom metadata fields (i.e. those prefixed with a lower case "x")
3) if you need to update a standard metadata field like dSecurity group or dAccount or dDocTitle etc you'll need to write a custom component for that or buy one from someone (yes, we have them if you're interested - see our Workflow Solution Set here: http://bit.ly/95Rocu).
4) if you expect multiple kinds of rejections or need different kinds of actions for different kinds of rejections then you'll need some more conditions in your IF statements.

So the precedence on my entire package executing is based on my first SELECT of my Table and an updatable column. If that SELECT results in an empty result set, how do I create an Event Handler to handle an empty result set?

Depends upon what you want to do in the eventhandler. this is what you can do
Store the result set from the Select to a user variable.
Pass this user variable to a Script task.
In the Script task do whatever you want to do including failing the package this can be done by failing the script task, which in turns fails the package. something like

Hi,
I have seen this error only in GUI based apps. Maybe you are pointing to the wrong error.
Check if CreateFile returns INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE. API return value should give you more information.

In First tab will be "Pack Material", give Packing Materials & enter. You will get a HU Number generated. select this line & the line in Material to be packed. Click on Pack button. The material is packed into a HU.
Now go to Second tab "Pack HUs". Here also give Packing Materials & enter. You will get a HU Number generated. select this line & the line in All Handling Units that can be packed. Click on Pack button. The HU is packed into another HU.

PI 7.11 - How to create a System Error in SXMB_MONI using a Java Mapping

We ve go a Java Mapping in a File-to-HTTP Scenario. It works perfect except of one error case: if an empty source file or a source file with the wrong structure is delivered. In this case our Java Mapping forwards an empty payload to the HTTP channel. So, for PI is the mapping successful.
I'd like to recognize this case and invoke a system error in the SXMB_MONI, so that this mapping will be stopped and our alerting concept informs the users. I know, how to recognize the case in Java but need to know how to create the System Error Status in the PI System.

You need to create a user table within your application that maintains their privileges. If you have LDAP you could use this for authorisation otherwise the table would handle that as well (store passwords etc). Your reports etc would then be filtered on information from this table.
Check out some of the sample applications to see how authorisation and access is implemented (Online store is one). The how-to on the issue tracking system should also have some useful pointers.

Follow these steps.

Go to T.Code SE51 and Select Laypout for the Screen.

Double click on the field for which u want Dropdown box.

create input field for DATE and TIME on screen.ex. DATE1 and TIME1 are screen field names .

Just assign SY-DATUM to DATE1 and SY-UZEIT to TIME1 under PROCESS BEFORE EVENT.

Define one variable in the TOP include with type STRING means Global variable.
2.
Create one input field by giving screen field name which u have defined in the above step.

For this case.. Create one table control. you can select one record and create record in the Z table by pressing button on Application toolbar..

How do I get a handle on embedded sound files?

From the Sound Class information, it says to use the SoundMixer Class to handle embedded Sound Files. I have two sound files embedded, that I have setup in 2 separate layers, starting at frame one in the main timeline. I needed to do this so I could see the wave files, and coordinate text with the waves. I do not want to load these files into the .swf file at runtime using URLRequest. How do I get a handle on those as they exist, to make each controllable by separate volume and mute controls for each sound?
This will be a challenging question, because, "it can't be done" doesn't work for me. I managed to create a way to use an external classfile to control the main timeline, the ROOT timeline, without having to create a sub movie to root. I can use my component to call play(); as though it were in code in a frame. But it isn't, it's in an external classfile. I passed root to the classfile and told the classfile to think of it as a movieclip - that put the handle on it. I tried similar way with root as a Sound, but that isn't detailed enough - I need to get a handle on the frame that contains the embedded sound file. I embedded, attached it, using the properties view for the frame.
I've attached, or whatever you want to call it, these sound files to a frame, and this frame is or should be attached to the layer I've created. So, under the assumption that the ROOT has everything attached to it in some manner (it is after all the foundation for the COM), the stage of the root contains the visual components, so ROOT has to have the layer objects attached to it, which should have the frame objects attached to the layers. I have two layers that each have a .wav file attached to frame one. Somehow Flash keeps track of that - I want to know how Flash does it so I can read what flash reads.
If this seems redundant, it probably is. I want to paint the best picture I know how so I can get detailed feedback. Please, if you have questions ask them so we can clarify, and get this resolved! Thanks for reading!
