How to create a suntotal in a matrix report?

I want to create a subtotal in a matrix report, please help!
The report should be look like:
catogory product 2002 2003 2004
A a001 100 120 140
a002 200 220 240
subtotal: 300 340 380
B b001 10 20 30
b002 20 30 40
subtotal: 30 50 70
total: 660 780 900
I used report wizard, but only total could generate, no subtotal.

Its very easy to get the required output, u have to place a new repeating frame, and place summary columns in required place and place the same in data model at same leve.

In the above report first column and the last columns are fixed and the other columns are dynamic depending upon the input selection:
if input selection is Normal and RDO then only 2 columns w'd be created and the other 2 fixed columns.
Can anybody help me how do I design such report....

According to your description that you want to dynamically increase and decrease the numbers of the columns in the table, right?
As Jason A Long mentioned that we can use the matrix to do this and put the year field in the column group, amount fields(Numric values) in the details, add an filter to filter the data base on this column group, but if
the data in the DB not suitable to add to the matrix directly, you can use the unpivot function to turn the column name of year to a single row and then you can add it in the column group.
If there are too many columns in the column group, it will fit the page size automatically and display the extra columns in the next page.

goto SQ03 and create an User Group If U want to create Ur Own.
Goto SQ02 to create Ur Infoset by Giving Logical database name or Simple Database table
Then Choose What ever data U need to be included in The Qurey in field Groups.
Then Generate the Infoset
Now Assign the infoset to user group
Now goto SQ01 and Click on Other user group Button and choose Ur user Group.
Then in the USer group select Ur Infoset and then create Ur own Query and save this.
Now select the infoset query and goto More functions under Query menu and Generate report name.
Now Create a transaction code for the report name generated.
Now use the Tcode.
Hope U have got the basic idea of creating Queries.

I need to calculate Difference and Percentage In matrix report SSRS 2008
1) Row grouping based On Product
2) Column Grouping Week and Fiscal Year Current week and Previous Year same Weeks
3)Data Invnetory(Value fileld)
Example:
If value1 and Value2 Available we need to calculate Percentage and Difference.Otherwise Not required NA I need to Show.
For example If Particular week,Current year data is available,Previous year week data is not available No
need to cal Diff and Percentage we need to show Empty.
Below Code is working for If two values is available.
If any one of the fiscal year week data is not there it's taking some garbage values.
I tries with If condition in GetPCT() and GetDiff() It's not working.
Can some one please help me on this.

According to your description, if one of the fiscal year week doesn’t have data, the custom code returns false results.
For your requirement, if NULL value exists in the database, we should replace it as zero then perform calculate. So within the code, we should judge whether the value is NULL. To achieve your goal, please refer to the steps below:

How to create a Transaction code for a Report Painter Report

Can any one let me know the procedure as to how to create a t-code for a user defined PCA report. I have created a PCA report (copied the existing report (8a26-001) and named it as zpca and assigned the same in a new Report Group ZPCA (the group is created by copying 8a26 group) and assigned it under the library 8a2. We have added few fields required by the user to the Z report.
Now i need to create a transaction code for that zpca report. can anyone suggest how to go about it.

Go to transaction SE93, enter a transaction code that you want and click on "create". Enter a text and select the "Transaction with Parameters" button. In the Default Values section, enter START_REPORT in the transaction field. Check the "skip initial screen" box. In the Name of Screen field section enter the following lines:
Name of screen field:                               Value
D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE                RW
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT                        ZPCA
Save and transport accordingly.

Hi,
follow these steps:
1. enter into transaction SE43 and change any Z area menu (we won't save it anyway)
2. choose to add a new entry
3. in the popup, choose to add a new report
4. select "Drilldown"
5. the application class depends on the area from you are trying to define/launch drilldown reports. In case of transaction FSI3, the appropriate application class is "FBR FI:FIS - Balance sheet, balance sheet key figures
6. then choose the suitable report type. This corresponds to the nodes that you'll see in transaction FSI3
7. finally choose a report, and optionally a variant.
8. you'll return to the screen "Transaction code for reports" (same as in step 4)
9. expand the button to display further options
10. optionally, specify a custom transaction code and/or description
11. accept all popups. This will create the transaction
12. finally, exit and don't save the area menu

I have a report like this and i want to show the o/p like

Tried using Previous Function but it is not working for Matrix Reports i.e. Overlapping Columns
Tried Custom Code like
Public Shared previous as Integer
Public Shared current as Integer
Public Shared Function GetCurrent(Item as Integer) as Integer
     previous=current
     current=Item
     return current
End Function
Public Shared Function GetPrevious()
     return previous
End Function
I've taken the Column Insert Column-->Insert Group-Right and in that i written the expression as
=Code.GetCurrent(fields!Score.Value) & "-Previous-" & iif(Code.GetPrevious()=0,"",Code.GetPrevious())
Still it is not working
Please help me regarding this

Previous Function is not working Matrix Report. So i written the expression like
=SUM(Fields!Sales.Value)-Previous(SUM((Fields!Sales.Value)))
The result is is subtracting Row wise but i want to subtract Column Wise i.e. 2006 Jan-2005 Jan & 2007 Jan-2006 Jan & 2006 Feb-2005 Feb so on...
but with the above expression it is showing 2005 feb-2005 Jan and 2005 Mar-2005 Feb and son on
