How to create patched MSI?

Hello,
I want to deploy the current Adobe Reader Security Update 9.3.2. So I first want to create a patched MSI. Here my steps:
1. Download Adobe Reader 9.3.0 and Security Update 9.3.2
     --> AdbeRdr930_en_US.msi
     --> AdbeRdrUpd932_all_incr.msp
2. Copy both files to C:\MyFolder
3. Apply patch to MSI
     --> msiexec /p AdbeRdrUpd932_all_incr.msp /a AdbeRdr930_en_US.msi /qb
4. Install Adobe Reader using the modified AdbeRdr930_en_US.msi. When I check Help-->About ... On this splash screen it shows 9.3.2....that's fine
     Now I take the mouse pointer to the position on splash screen where 9.3.2 is written and click. After clicking I see a different version 9.3.0.148.
So my question is why?
I need to build a correct patched MSI to deploy it using System Center Essentials/WSUS. I do not want to deploy using Group Policy!

In version ESSO-LM 11.1.1.5 the agent customised MSI can be created completely in the admin console.
Copy ESSO-LM MSI from the original software, load it into the generate customised MSI wizard. Select the features you want including the correct synchroniser, select next, add the global agent settings set that you know function. Name the new MSI and generate.
Run it with a command similar to this for a silent install:
msiexec.exe /i "<install path>\ESSO-LM_XP_23Sepr11.msi" /qn

Those are your words. And now you merely sent me a link to the
“how to create an AIP” site. Clearly I know how to create the AIP as I did for
11.0.06. I want you to tell me verbatim how to generate a working MSI. Clearly
everyone else on the forum is having the same issue – that’s what it says not
resolved on the top of the page. Furthermore if you had a working MSI, why not
put it up on the FTP site? The answer to that is that you DO NOT have a working
MSI and neither does anyone else at the moment.

How to create reports servers with the same name in two nodes in Reports

We are migrating Oracle Application Server 10g (9.0.4) to a better hardware infrastructure with high availability. We want to provide 2 new Oracle Application Server 10g (9.0.4) in High availability and we want to avoid modify the existing forms and reports code, but the code is looking for a specific reports server name when calling reports, but I couldn't create the same reports server name in the both oas machines, I could create the reports server in only one node. I want to create a reports server with the same name in both nodes but it is not possible. I know that there is a procedure to do that in 10.1,2 (Note 437228.1, How to Create Two Reports Servers With the Same Name in the Same Subnet) but I couldn't find the equivalent procedure in 9.0.4.
Anybody kwows how to create a reports server with the same name in two nodes using 10g (9.0.4)

I applied the patch 4092150 on my oas 9.0.4.2 and I modified my rwnetwork.conf file changing the port to 14022 by following the note "How to Create Two Reports Servers With the Same Name in the Same Subnet? [ID 437228.1]" but I am facing the same error rep-56040 "server already exists in the network".
When I run osfind command I get the following information (My reports server is senarep and I want to create it on SNMMBOGOAS10):

Hi Gurprit,
A null value is being passed at runtime. Make sure that you enter values when filling in the form.
Also check for the cardinality of the nodes being used. You can also initiliaze your value attributes as follows:
In wdDoInit() method:
wdContext.currentNodeAElement.setValueA("");

I am working on development on Acrobat 9.0 SDK. I am facing problem is that I can compiled Visual C++ source code to an api. I can test functions on this api on Acrobat 9.0 windows, but I could not test it on IE web browser, because I don't know how to create Activex object from my Visual C++ source code or its api.
I read Acrobat 9 SDK document and found under C:\Acrobat 9 SDK\Version 1\PluginSupport\Tools\Visual Studio App Wizard has two files: Acro9PIWizInstaller.msi and setup.exe. I am not very sure those file are the key to help me to create Activex objects for my api. Are they the one I need to create Activex object? If not, could you please advise me how to create Activex object for my api or C++ codes.

Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2, Patch Set 3 (10.1.2.3) is required to be fully certified on OEL 5.x or RHEL 5.x.
Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 10.1.2.0.0 or 10.1.2.0.1 versions are not supported with Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 5.0 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.0. It is recommended that version 10.1.2.0.2 be obtained and installed.
Which implies Oracle AS 10.1.2.x is some what certified on RHEL 5.x
I think it would be better if you get in touch with Oracle Support regarding this .
Sorry , I am not aware of any document on migration from Sun Solaris to RH Linux 5.2 .

I don't know if you are still looking for the answer if yes then below is the location to get documentation for AAK tool.
1. Go through SAP Note 921103 , this note has all the info for installation of add-on.
2. This document is useful to understand the concept although is looks like taken fro standard SAP documentation video.
3. SAP provide few SIM file which display steps in a video. i don't know if you got it or not i have them in case you need i can send it to you.
I hope this is enough information for you to create Add-on.

How to create OLAP Catalog Metadata objects automatically from Analytic Workspace, not using CWM2_OLAP_AW_OBJECT package.
Is there tool for it?

Analytic Workspace Manager is the supported tool from Oracle for creating OLAP catalog metadata (plus the SQL views required for BI Beans). Hopefully this should be out in June as an additional download following the 9.2.0.3x patch.
However you might want to look at IAF Software's "Coaster" product (http://www.iafsoft.com/products/coaster.htm) which also contains functionality to create the OLAP Catalog. We've had a play around with it and have been impressed.

there are a few ways... zav can create an msi installer for you that will setup associations and copy the virt exe to any location you want (just like any other msi application installer, just with one file:). I prefer this method, but there is also another exe tool that will register those file associations, they recently changed the name but its well documented. I suggested downloading the pdf from novell, its pretty short and informative.

You need to have the enterprise version of Oracle DB 9.2.0.2 in order to have DM4J to work fully. It will run on Oracle DB 9.2.0.1 but you would need to install a JMS patch to have the components run successfully. This is better done by just upgrading to 9.2.0.2.
If you have the correct DB then you need to establish a connection to the db using the "ODM" account and password. You can not access data mining in the db other then through this account.
Additionally, all ODM_MTR tables are granted to ODM for access out of the box. If you want more data accessible to ODM you will need to grant these individually.
