    Example of Invoice :
Set ur Break point at your code
now come to VF02 Transaction and use invoice number.
    click on enter
    GOTO->HEADER->OUTPUT
Give the output type and print medium should be 6(EDI) or A( ALE)
Click on Further data and select->select send with periodically scheduled job and save it.
Now Come to SE38 and use RSNAST00
    Output Application : V3
Object key - Invoice Number ( 10 digit)
Output type - RD00( SAP Standard)
    Transmission medium = 6(EDI) ,A(ALE)
Now it will stop at your code.

  • Hi, how to debug IDOC using se37.

    Hello experts:
Thank you in advance for all your replies.
I tried to debug the function IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDCHG like the following in our company(because the structure of IDOCS this morning are totally wrong):
          1   I set some breakpoints at  IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDCHG .
2  modify a PO with me22n and an IDOC was created because the MESSAGE(on the menu bar) showed that an IDOC is created .
3 the program didn't stop at where I set the breakpoint.
Is there anything wrong how I tried to debug?
           couldn't thank you more.
    Best regards.

    1. Go to BD87
    2. make a right click at the IDoc and choose restrict and process.
    3. delete the check at the bottom(Background Processing)

  • How to Debug Idoc Adapter from XI to R/3

    Hi,
Can any one please help in debugging the Idoc adapter from XI to R/3.
Here is the my problem - XI to R/3 idocs have been created correctly but the service relation ship is created incorrectly.
i.e. When XI creates inbound idoc into R/3, it is also linking some other non relevant idoc which is created 2 years back as a outbound idoc reference to that original idoc.
And this outbound idoc is coming to XI and the same can be seen in IDX5(Table - IDXRCVPOR) for that message.
I tried to see various parameters on idoc_inbound_asynchronus FM and when I execute this FM in R/3, idocs are being created correctly and service relation ship is also correct.
I tried to debug the RFC by using dialog user in the idoc adapter - IDX_OUTBOUND_XMB. For this we forced to fail the message at the adapter level and then manually restarted in SXI_MONI so that it will stop in debug mode in IDX_OUTBOUND_XMB.. But it didn't.
Can any one help on this ?
    Thanks in Advance..
    Nagarjuna

If my understanding is correct, your inbound function module processing the IDoc is triggering another IDoc to be sent back to PI? If so, then have you checked the distribution model? If you want to supress it you can try removing it as the outbound Idoc for the logical system in we20 (Partner Profiles)?

  • How to Debug the Outbound IDOC

    Dear SDN Members,
How to debug the outbound idoc please.
    Thanks in advance
    Yerukala Setty

    Hi,
IDocs are processed by a function module, which are mapped against in table EDIFCT. When you process an IDoc in transaction BD87 you can put a breakpoint in the function module and it will stop there. For outbound processing it depends on which program is sending the IDoc. For transactional data like purchase orders, the IDoc is created via RSNAST00 which in turn calls a function module assigned to the processing code (BD41).
    Thanks,
    Asit Purbey.

  • How to debug Outbound IDoc

    Hi Friends,
I want to know how to debug Outbound IDoc .
is there is any tool for debugging outbound idocs
    Thanks,
    Bhaskar.

    hi
Go to tcode WE19. Give idoc number press F8. You will get next screen. There you have push button in tool bar called "INBOUND FUNCTION MOUDLE". Click on it. You will get one pop-up screen.
There give function module name and tick the check box called " Call in debugging mode" and select radio button called "In foreground". Then press ok. It will take you to debugging mode.
    Reward if it dose.
    Thanks

  • How to do IDOC debugging for both inbound and outbound

    Hi
can somebody please help me on how to debug the idoc both inbound and outbound in SAP PI.
    Regards
    Blue

    Hi,
Yes, i have checked but did not get any satisfactory answer.
    here is the solution:
    Inbound:
    We19, Give the idoc #,
click on the inbound functional module and select the radio button in the fore ground
check the check box call in debug mode, this will enter in the functional module debugging.
    Outbound:
Check BD73, give the idoc # and execute
    or
RSNASTED program and set the breakpoint there
is this correct, i have not tested/ checked yet.

  • PI-ECC connection (IDOC scenario), how to debug? (External BP)

    Hello everybody,
In PI -> ECC IDOC scenario I have encountered a debugging problem
Delivery IDOC is being sent from PI to ECC.
It is processed with IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY FModule.
The question is how to debug this communication?
I try to set external breakpoint in IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY with the user I can see in IDOC processing log
(IDOC Status details -> 'Logging' tab -> 'Message from' section -> 'User name').
This user is used to serve communication with PI.
User is set as dialog and has debugging rights
When I trigger communication from PI - IDOC is sent but debugger does not popup
    Is my debugging approach incorrect?
I would appreciate every comment on this.
    Kind Regards,
    P.

    Pothana Yadav
    Thanks a lot for reply!
What do you mean by checking at Master_Idoc level?
I am setting a BreakPoint in IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY FModule at the very beginning. Also tried to set BP insidy my BAdi method (which is for sure being call during communication).
Or maybe you know some other way how to debug such IDOC communication triggered from PI into ECC?
I know I could use 'endless loop / sm50' trick but then I need to transport source code, which in case of Production is not feasible.
    Regards,
    P.

  • How to convert IDOC to flat file in XI

    Hello SDNers
I have a scenario IDOC --> XI  --> Flat file. My question is how to conver IDOC to flat file. At least there are two ways to do that:
    1) Define a flat structure in PI that reflects the IDOC structure, then using content conversion to convert the flat structure to flat file in hte receiver communication channel.
    2) There is a [document |https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/46759682-0401-0010-1791-bd1972bc0b8a] talking about using a generic ABAP mapping to map any IDOC to flat file.
For the option 1, I don't want that way, because I would need to define a flat structure in PI for each IDOC which is too much effort. (I would have dozens of IDOC scenarios)
The second one is very attractive. However the document is not complete to follow. Basically it does not explain how the inbound flat structure looks like. I guess the generic ABAP mapping is used to map any IDOC_XML structure to a flat structure, then in the file receiver communication channel to convert the flat structure to flat file format. But the document does not mention how the flat structure looks like. Has somebody tried this scenario? If yes, can you please let me know the steps to do in ESR (IR) and ID? Basically what structure the IDOC_XML should be mapped to using the generic ABAP mapping class?
Or somebody has other ideas on how to convert IDOC to flat file?
    Thank you so much
    Eric

    > 1) You are saying that for Java mapping and abap mapping, the target data type (messag type) is just a dummy one, the real (XML) message the receiver will recieve is the one (stream) produced by the java or abap mapping. Is that correct?
    Definitely yes!
    >
    > 2) For the abap mapping option, I would define a dummy target data type. Do I need to do any content conversion in the receiver adapter (communication channel)?
None wat so ever. The output of your Java Mapping will be the Native Idoc Format.
    >
    > 3) I tried with a dummy target data type as mentioned in my second post, can you see any clue in the error message what is wrong?
Dats one thing I cant help much. Just make sure that the ABAP report is valid and take the help of a ABAP'er to debug what is going wrong. Not much of a ABAP guy, can read ABAP code, but cant write one myself
Try to test the program standalone to see how it works. Maybe take some Idoc XML file as input and then dump the output to a .txt file and so on.
    Regards
    Bhavesh
PS : All this is from what I have read of this guide. I have not convert Idoc XML to Native Idoc but have used this guide to convert Native Idoc to Idoc XML .

  • How to Debug the Failed Data loads?

    Hi..All
Can Any one plz explain How to Debug the different types of Failed Data Loads?
    Thanks & Regards
    Jonn

    Hi Jonn,
If any data failed ....1st analyze where it occurs according to that what we have to decide...
    Analysis:
1.Check the Status Tab in RSMO--here we can get error information
2.Check the Details Tab in RSMO--here we can get whether extraction is completed, and where it is exactly failed i.e while updating from PSA or in Update rules etc
3.Check the corresponding request job log in SM37.
4.Check whether any shortdump in ST22.
5.Check the Request status in the Target...some times activation job failed in SM37 but in the Target we found as activated.
6.Check BD87 Transaction for any IDOC errors.
    7.Check SM58 for TRFCs
    Hope this helps u.....

  • Debug IDoc ?

    All,
I have an IDoc for message type MBGMCR. That we are sending from Warehouse Management (WM) Box to our Finance Box ( Both are SAP instances) . But IDoc getting failed in Target system (Finance Box) with status 53.( Error saying authorisation not found for accounts posting).
Then i reprocess the IDoc from BD87 and it got sucessful with 51.
I know this is because of RFC user authorisation. Then i have given SAP_ALL to RFC user and try to send IDoc from WM box to FIN box. Still my IDoc got failed.
Now my question is how can debug the IDoc while at the time sending IDoc from WM to FIN box.
I have tried SM50 RFC debuging option , but If i opened the SM50 debuging IDoc getting generated in 64 status.
and also tried to search the code for message class & message number in error occured, and put break-point and run from WE19,  system doesn't stop at break-point.
PS Please don't suggest to use WE19, BD87 for debugging.( If i use these IDoc getting created sucessfully)

Issue is with RFC user type. Problem solved

how to config the hot deploy?
thxSorry, for this delay in responding. I had set notify me with email option in Watch This topic; but I never did get any email notification.
I use wls6.1; I think the process may be very similar to this in wls8.x. In wls6.1 (sp5), this is done via the -
    Dweblogic.ProductionModeEnabled=False or
    Dweblogic.ProductionModeEnabled=True
in the startup cmd/sh script. Out of the box, wls6.1 is set to Dweblogic.ProductionModeEnabled=False which automatically enables hot deploys.
