How to delete JMS Queue using WSLT thru JNDI?

How to delete JMS Queue using WSLT thru JNDI?

Hi,
You can use the following WLST script to delete the queue :-
edit()
cd('/JMSSystemResources/MyModule/JMSResource/MyModule')
startEdit()
cmo.destroyQueue(getMBean('/JMSSystemResources/MyModule/JMSResource/Mymodule/Queues/MyQueue'))
activate()
Is it what you are looking for?
I hope this helps.
Regards.

  • How to read the messages in the JMS Queue using JMX

    Hi,
I want to read messages in the JMS queue using JMX. I was able to read using QueueBrowser but want to modify priority of the messages using JMX.
I tried to use JMSDestinationRuntimeMBean but it does not allow us to read messages unless we pass the message Id. Is there any way that I can get all the messages in the queue.
              I am using Weblogic 8.1 SP4
Can someone please help me in this regard.
              Thanks,

    Hi,
As far as i know, JMS Object Messages is not supported by XI JMS adapter.
you need to have the JMS provider to transform the message to bytes messages.

  • How to manage jms queue?

How to manage jms queue. I want to do operation on messages on jms queue like deleting the messages and hold the message for some time . Please provide the sample code for that.

Thanks a lot Tom for the reply, I have read about the descriptor setting 'max-beans-in-free-pool' and I searched this concept at the Administration Console without success.
I suppose other way is create a “Session Pools” under the JMSServer, and then create a “Consumer” and define the setting “Messages Maximum”. One of the disadvantages is that “Session Pools” don’t support JTA, from the documentation:
+Session pools enable an application to process messages concurrently. Session pools are now used rarely, as they are not a required part of the J2EE specification, do not support JTA user transactions, and are largely superseded by message-driven beans (MDBs), which are a required part of the J2EE specification.+
I continue reading the MDB chapter of the performance and tuning guide in the documentation, thanks for any contribution to the topic.

It seems to be doing a JNDI lookup, and you haven't configured JNDI properly. Exactly how to do this depends on what JNDI provider you are using. Earlier in the thread you mentioned you were using WebLogic, so the answer may lie in the WebLogic documentation.

  • How to configure JMS queue on OC4J server. Development in JDeveloper 10G

    Hi there,
I have to configure a JMS for an Asynchronous process in my Application which will be running in Oracle 10G Application Server. Development Environment is Oracle JDeveloper 10G.
I am facing a problem on how to configure JMS queue.
    Steps Followed are:
    in the <JDevloperHome>/j2ee/home/config
    1. Made the new queue and connection factory's JMS entry in jms.xml.
    2. Specifed the queue in oc4j-connectors.xml.
    3. played around with application.xml
and tried all combinations, but the message producer always failed to lookup the queue.
Need help on the steps to follow so that the producer can post the message in the queue.
Also please help how to configure the MDB to listen to the queue.
    Thanx and Regards
    Subham

If you were dealing with Oracle 10g app server as opposed to standalone, I might be better able to help you.
One thing though, when you are configuring your MDB in the orion-ejb-jar.xml file, do not forget to specify attribute listener-threads, otherwise no matter how many beans you have in your MDB pool, only one bean will be listening to the queue. Many listener-threads equal to max number of beans in pool.

  • How to create a queue using CVP with ICM script(Comprehensive mode)

    Hello Guys,
I would like to know how can I configure a queue in a comprehensive mode using micro-app at CVP + ICM environment. I work with UCCE at least 2 years, so I know how to create a queue using UCCX and/or IPIVR (I do a queue application using UCCX Editor and at ICM I use the Run external Script component), but at CVP I don't know how to create a application at Call Studio and how to call this application at ICM Script Editor to run this queue if there aren't agents available.
Can someone help me to understand how can I do that?
I attached the ICM Script using micro-app. This script runs ok, I call to a Route pattern and CVP route request ICM, so ICM run the script, but if there are no agents available the call drops, so I would like to know how can I create a queue to hold the call and to come back to a available agent.

Out of the check mark in the queue to skill group node you go to another run external script node, then you loop into that over and over again until the call is answered.

  • Read message synchronously from JMS queue using OSB

    Hi,
Is it possible to read message from the JMS queue using OSB based on the request invocation. I know messages can be read from the queue but it will be polling based.
The requirement is to have an OSB proxy service (HTTP service ) an an interface to the client application. Client application invokes the proxy service and the proxy service need to read message from the JMS queue and provide the message as response to the client.
Let me know if there are any pointers.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I spent some time trying to do this and apart from creating custom database tables etc. I was not able to achieve this.
We wanted to use in memory JMS queues in our situation.
In the end we developed a Java Web Service which preformed the on-demand read from the queue (using a particular message selector)
This is working for us without a problem

    Hi,
My Project Set up is as follows(using ALSB3.0).
1>One Proxy Service with transport as HTTP.

3>The Business Service has transport layer as JMS.
So here the business service is posting Request Message into the JMS queue.

  • Need to publish message from database to a JMS Queue using Java

I need to publish messages to a Websphere JMS Queue whenever any changes happen on a particular column of a table in oracle 11g. For that I have written a trigger on that particular table which in turn will invoke one java procedure. I have written the java procedure using a standalone java class and uploaded the java class as a schema object. While executing the procedure it is throwing error as it is not able to instantiate some of the java classes. I don't know how to provide the reference of different jar files while executing the java class. Can anyone help me on this.

    Welcome to the forum!

    >
Clarify your statement. First you say 'standalone java class' but then you talk about instantiating java 'classes' and referencing 'different jar files'. If you are executing your Java class inside Oracle then any Java classes that your java class is referencing also have to be loaded into Oracle or it won't be able to reference or execute them.
How do you plan to ' publish messages to a Websphere JMS Queue '? Where is this queue you are talking about?
Why are you using a Java procedure and class instead of PL/SQL?
What is your 4 digit Oracle version (result of SELECT * FROM V$VERSION)?

  • How to create JMS Queue in soa 11g?do we need to create jmsuser user in db

    Hi All,
We r using SOA 11.1.1.3 version do we get jmsuser user while installing itself. we r unable to see this user. Can anyone suggest how to create a JMS queue in soa 11g.
    Thanks,
    RR

    Hi,
Oracle SOA runs over weblogic application server 10.3.3
If you want to create a JMS queue, then you have to create it on weblogic server. For creating a JMS queue, first of all create a JMS server on weblogic admin console (by default http://localhost:7001/console) (Services --> Messaging --> JMS Servers) and target it to a server/cluster as desired. Now create a JMS module (Services --> Messaging --> JMS Modules) and target it to same server/cluster.
Now create a sub-deployment in JMS Module (Services --> Messaging --> JMS Modules --> Your JMS Module --> Subdeployments tab) and select the JMS server you created initially as a target of this subdeployment.
Now create a connection factory in that JMS module and in advanced targetting select the subdeployment you created. Now create a JMS queue in the same JMS module and in subdeployment select the subdeployment you created.
If you want to access this queue from an application then JMS URL should be like -
    jms://hostname:port/connFactoryJNDIName/QueueJNDIName

  • Connecting to third party JMS Queue using Patchbay

    Hi All,
We are trying to connect to a third party JMS queue configured in a remote weblogic server using ATG patcbay. We have configured the provider in dynamoMessagingSystem.xml and created a InitialContextFactory and provided all the queue configurations.
When it tries to initializes it is trying to create a dynamic queue and saying that JMSHelper class is not configured so that it cannot create the queue (The queue exists in the remote server). When we given configurations based on the details available under C:\ATG\ATG10.0.3\WebLogic\JMSProvider, it is saying that we have to provide a TopicConnectionFactory (We dont need to use any Topics). If we provide TopicConnectionFactory then it will say that your connection factory don't have any Topics configured.
I have read that for configuring with your application server's queue, this will try creating dynamic queues, but nowhere it is mentioned that how it will differentiate it is a third party queue or an application server queue.
In our case the application server and the remote server which acts as queue server are Weblogic.
Not sure why this is behaving like this and there is no proper documentation available in ATG that how to configure the third party queues using Patchbay.
Any pointers regarding this would be of great help.
    Thanks,
    R.

Hello kilgores. Welcome to the Apple Discussions!
Something to ask your IT staff is if they use a proxy server for Internet access. If so, do they require proxy configuration scripts (.pac) to provide access to the Internet through your company's firewall. This information would normally be added to your browser's settings.
For Safari: Preferences... > Advanced > Proxies > Change Settings... > Automatic Proxy Configuration
