How to delimit a record in sqlloader

hi,
I got one data file in which all the records start with '@' character at first position of the line.
eg.
@0001000abcde 0004...............
@11111bcedd 0005.............
@12345afceddd 0006...............
In certain places the data comes as below
eg.
####################@11111bcedd 0005.............
###############@12345afceddd 0006...............
#######################@12345afceddd 0006...............
@0001000abcde 0004...............
@11111bcedd 0005.............
@12345afceddd 0006...............
####################@11111bcedd 0005.............
###############@12345afceddd 0006...............
#######################@12345afceddd 0006...............
How to upload the above data. without losing any data.

There is a "records delimited by" option in your control file that you would set to '@'. Most example control files will specify a newline here instead.

Hi all,
Has anyone used HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION with OPERATION = 'LIS9' to delimit a record? I keep on getting 'A complex application error has occurred' error message. When I go into dialog mode = '2', the FM will go into the Overview Screen and I realized that the Delimit Date on the top right of the screen is not what I specify as the new record's ENDDA but the original record's ENDDA. Also I have to manually click on Delimit icon on the top left of the screen before it gets delimited.
Question:
How do I pass in the delimited date to HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION? I put it in the RECORD-ENDDA field but it doesn't seem to work?

why dont you use change mode (mod) and just change the default end date to the date you want the record delimited? that is also delimiting.
is this requirement for batch job?

How could you map the Records of OM->PA ,if the designation of person changes from manager to supervisor from certain date.and how can we see the changed records??
Solution :we can see the changes in the addition action infotype 302,personel hiring action(0000) delimit the record whenerver we changes the designation,and in the orgassingment infotype overview ,action infotype over view we can see the changes and PLOGI-ORGA IS the integration switch and position is the key for map the recoed from OM ->PA

kindly go through the below message i hope it will help you.
when the employee designation is changed the action of employee changed in infotype 0000 and previous record is delimited and that current recod automatically reflect on infotype 0001 and you find the position of employee here and esily identify.
in this way when the position changes in OM it will reflect on PA.(in infotype0001).

Here's how to copy the voice memo to your laptop (and then email it if you need to):
With iTunes open on the Voice Memo folder of your device (an iPhone 4s in my case), simply drag the required file from iTunes and onto the desktop of your pc/laptop. It won't remove the file from your device but simply make a copy. Then you can play the file from your pc/laptop (through Quicktime) as the file is in AAC format. You can also attach the file to an email for sending.
Hope this helps someone else.

How to create a record based on the name of a file in the file-system?

Hi,
With a lot of pictures I want to have a database to gather some information about these pictures.
First question is how to generate a record based on a file in the file system?
e.g. the pictures are "c:\fotos\2009\01\disc_001.jpg" to "c:\foto\2009\01\dis_98.jpg" .
now i want to create records with as one of the attributes the name of the picture (not the picture itself). how to create these records (based on the information of the file-ssytem). i.e. the number of records should be the same as the number of pictures.
any suggestions?

Please suggest how to get multiple records using fn-bea:execute-sql() and how to assign them in ALSB variable.

Am facing the same issue stated above that I couldnt get all the records in the table that am querying in the Proxyservice.
For example:
fn-bea:execute-sql('EsbDataSource', 'student', 'select Name from StudentList' ) is the query that am using to fetch the records from the table called StudentList which contains more than one records like
Id Name
01 XXX
02 YYY
03 ZZZ
I tried to assign the result of the above query in a variable and while trying to log the variable, I can see the below
<student>
<Name>XXX</Name>
</student>
I want to have all the records from my table in xml format but it's not coming up. I get the value only from the first row of my table.
Please suggest.

If you have less number records in this request(which you extracted now), delete that request from all the targets and reload again with option Valid records update, reporting not possible.
this is the option which is recommended.

Hi Naren,
First get the index number of the IT_data table and store it in one variable whose declaration like this.
data: tabix type sy-tabix.
while reading the internal table it_data set the tabix variable.
tabix = sy-tabix.
Instead of the above use below one.
Delete it_data-objek
Use the Below statement it will delete the row from the internal table.
Delete it_data-objek index tabix

Is it possible? I want to create a folders in Document Library but inside folders i do not want to upload a file instead of just i want to create a record. I will map my local file path to the records.

Hello Sankaran,
document library is to upload documents, without document you will not be able to add a record or Item to it.
for your requirement you can use a list and enable folders within the list and maintain the local path of the file as an item in list.
