How to design 8x2 Table in webdynpro ?

Hi,
I have given a task of creating 8x2 (8 rows x 2 columns) table where top row should be filled with green/blue color for titlw purposes. I tried doing it without any luck. Please help me to design this table.
Table can be any rows or any columns but not specific to 8 x 2 here. just a indication.

Hi Praveen,
Please create table manully without tamplate and bind with context node which you want to display. and modify the table properties "VisibleRowCount" with value '8' mean that only 8 row will be visible in the screen.
Insert two column into table which you want to display as table column and bind them with table context node attribute.

With JSF in general (and ADF Faces too), you should not think in terms of HTML output, but in terms of JSF components. ADF has an af:table component that renders things in rows-and-columns, but emits HTML that is much more complex than just a simple HTML table.

One of the form gave solution to pass blank internal table?
I cleared node and itab in webdynpro, but internally SAP doesn't delete the context node and itab values.
Please help me in how to refresh itab in webdynpro abap.

I wrote like this in action list method.
method lta_task.
if not lcontext_node_task is intial.
context_node_task->invalidate().

select.......
populate data into internal table lt_task_output_table .
if not lt_task_output_table is inital.
context_node_task = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'TASK_PER').
context_node_task->bind_table( wd_this->lt_task_output_table ).
endif.
endmethod.
Starting of the mehod i have written to inavlidate, before upating the itab
but donesn;t work. Where should I write the code

Hi Experts,
        I have a requirement to design guided procedure for stock reconciliation.
        The starting page for this is a webdynpro(ABAP) report. This report has a table with 4 columns namely, Material_Num, Customer_stock, Org_Stock, Delta.
Material_Num | Customer_stock I Org_Stock I Delta |

TRN002          | 200                   | 160            | 40    |
User will select any row and then can click on 'Reconcile' button below.
On clicking the 'Reconcile' button it should open a HTML page with details on selected data for reconciliation based on the selected row. This page should have a 'Send for approval' button.
On clicking 'Send for approval' button, it should open another page for selecting the manager from a list. User can select the right manager and press 'Send' button.
Once 'send' button is clicked, a status HTML page should open showing status of managerial approval.
The manager should receive a worklist entry in the portal universal work list. He should be able to approve it.
The GP flow is like this:
Stock Report -
> Send for approval   -
> Select Manager -
> Status.
Can somebody guide me with steps to follow to design this in GP?
How to pass selected row data from the webdynpro report to the 'Send for approval' page?

Hi Gopal,
I would rather recommend you to use Java Web Dypro to have all the advantages of a better integration (parameters mapping, eventing on completion, etc.). You can use ABAP Web Dynpro Application but this is, from a GP Perspective, strictly limited to open the Application. Nothing else happens.
To reach a better integration in ABAP, you might use the BSP Callable Object.

Hi,
The EXEC CONNECT ... is usually used in the procedural ABAP code. For this you can refer to the ABAPDOCU.
I dont have any sample code on the classes I listed try to check out them for the parameters and the methods they have.
In WD for Java, we have these connection classes to connect to any databsae server.
Or try to create an RFC with DESTINATION for this

If you want to employ google search functionality in webdynpro , follow below steps.

A company wants to record all sales in computer and at the month end wants to print out billing for all clients I have design this in foxpro and in Foxpro we did that when new month will start then new table generate like Crd_0707 (Credit month year).

If you understand relational theory and design shik Date's books. What you need to understand before porting an application from another database to Oracle is how Oracle works.
If you do not know relational design then you need to learn it long before you start any porting project.
If you know relational design then read the Application Developers Guide - Fundamentals, plus the first few chapters of the SQL manual up until the syntax diagrams start. These chapters identify the single row and aggregate functions that Oracle provides and introduce optimizer hints for tuning while the later chapters provide the syntax for DDL: create table, create view, etc .... You will also want to read the PL/SQL Users Guide and Reference then look at the supplied PL/SQL Packages and Types manual.
After reading all this you meet the minimum requirements to work with Oracle, and I really do mean minimum.

ABAP Webdynpro: Creating a table on webdynpro screen to enter new data.

Hello Experts,
Does anyone know, how to create a table on webdynpro screen that can be used to enter new data in database?
I have tried to create a Table UI element (with Standard Cell Editor as Input Field) but it is "Display only" if there is no data in the table. This means, while you can use it to modify the data if some data already exist, but you cannot use it to enter new data if no data already exist. What I am looking for is something similar to a Table Control (or Step-Loop) functionalty of a traditional (non webdynpro) SAP screen. How to achieve this in Webdynpro for ABAP?

Even if no data is not there, you can pass blank work areas to table, so now table will blank rows where you can enter the data even if previous data is not there.
below is the sample code to get blank rows in table in order to enter data.

Hi Saravanan,
In your view, you have to add the UI element TabStrip. You will have an empty tab strip then. Right click on the tab strip, and add a 'Tab'. Continue in this manner to add as many tabs as you want. Each tab will have a header, specify the tab title in that.
Now go to each tab, right click and insert element. You could insert any element like a table, Input fields etc. Event handling has to be done separately for these elements. At the tabstrip level, you need to handle only the onTabSelect event. This is the event triggered when you change tab selection in the tabstirp. In the properties of the tab strip, there will be a field selectedTab. Specify the ID of the tab which you want as selected. This will be your initial selection.
You can also enable and disable tabs, say grey out tabs that have no data etc. All this can be done by context attribute binding.
You can also refer to the view by name TABSTRIP in the component WDR_TEST_EVENTS.

How to access internal table data from webdynpro to Flex application.

The data transfer from Abap WebDeypro to flex island works well. I followed , there is an example from Thomas Jung (by the way as always Great Work) and Karthikeyan Venkatesan (Infosys) but this example covers simple type only.
There is no example with complex types like arrayCollection which handle the transfer of data from flex to WebDynpro.
i tried to do pass internal table value to flex-datagrid.but its not work.
i would like to know
1.how to access internal table data from webdynpro to Flex application.
2.how to pass the internal table to flex-datagrid.
2.how to pass dynamically in ADOBE flex.
3. how to do Flex is receiving the wd context data?
4. how can we update WD context with FLEX data.
Ple give me sample example and step by step procedure.

First design your form interface, this is the set of fields that you need to display in your form and create this as a structure in SE11. In your print program code the logic to extract the data into this structure, this is just regular ABAP, nothing special here.
When you have your data call function module SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME to determine the name of the generated smartform function module. Then call this function module, passing the data collected into your structure. If necessary you will need to find the print parameters required and pass these too.
In your smartform you will need to use the data structure you created in SE11 as the smartform interface and design the layout required to display these fields.

Instead of adding button in the column header , in the column
add a fixed top cell.
    right click on the column
    Insert FixedTopCell
    Right click on the fixedTopCell
    insert Editor.
   select button.
then button will be only in the top most row.
