How to determine J2EE patch level

If I go to the CMD prompt running the Dispatcher, I can enter "version" and the > prompt and get the following:
SAP J2EE Engine Version 6.20 PatchLevel 78993.20
How does this patch level translate to patch levels 6 throuch 32 on service.sap.com/patches?
Thanks in advance.

  • How to determine the patch number used (installed using runInstaller)

Whilst it easy to find the patch number installed using opatch by using the lsinventory argument.
Is there a way to find patch number for a patch applied via runInstalled?
    META-INF/MANIFEST.MF from platform/iam-platform-kernel.jar,gives the following:
    Manifest-Version: 1.0
    Ant-Version: Apache Ant 1.7.0
    Created-By: 19.1-b02 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
    Product-Version: 11.1.1.3.0
    Build-Number: 11.1.1.3.0.0.0

    Built-at: 05/02/2011 06:46
    Version: 11.1.1.3.0
    Build-Label: IAM_11.1.1.5.0_GENERIC_110502.0500
    Build-Transaction: NONE
But I need the exact patch number, eg, p1234567.
Anyone know where to find this information?
The system has been patched from 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.1.5
I am looking for the patches used for WLS, SOA and OIM.
    Regards

Another way to get it is:
    SELECT XSD_CODE,XSD_VALUE FROM dev_oim.XSD WHERE xsd_code='XL_ADE_LABEL';
Check Note: 1247564.1 for 11.1.1.3 and 1360009.1 for 11.1.1.5 for builds to patch mapping. Check Note:1299977.1 for how to determine build numbers.
For WLS you can use: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs81/admin_ref/clic.html
    For OIM as mentioned above
For SOA: $mw_home\Oracle_SOA\bin\soaversion.cmd (or soaversion.sh) to know the SOA version or
SELECT version, status, owner FROM schema_version_registry where owner = 'DEV_SOAINFRA';-Bikash

  • SP13 not compatible with installed BIA? Determining BIA patch level

I'm having a bit of an issue finding where in TREXAdmin or on the OS I can find the applied patch level on the BIA.
I upgraded the BI ABAP side to SPS13 and it no longer recognizes installed BIA instance.
I then updated BIA to rev 41 which is all that is available in SAPnet, and I still get the same error.  The update was successful with no errors but Id like to see "Patch level 41" listed somewhere in TREXAdmin just to be sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can check the version of the BIA several ways.
    TREXAdmin (python):
Landscapes -> Hosts -> Version -> Under Version column
    BI via tcode /TREXADMIN:
    Version tab
If you have issues with connectivity please check the Connectivity tab in the TREXAdmin python tool and do a repair. This should fix the problem.

  • How to determine 640/J2EE Startup Framework Binary Patch Level?

    Hi All,
We are running BI ABAP with Java Add-in on WAS 640/SUSE/Oracle.
In the ABAP world, there are many options for determining the current kernel patch level.  Disp+work -v, SYSTEM->STATUS, etc..
How do I determine the patch level of the J2EE startup framework (ie: jlaunch, jcontrol, etc..)?  If I run these commands with '-version', I get a patch level of 0. From System Information, the Cluster Kernel Version is 6.40 PatchLevel 105424.313.
What I am trying to determine is if I have the binaries that map to the latest applied SP (18).  Do I need to download J2EERTOS18.SAR and apply the bits or has that already been done?  Or is the current patch level for the bits fro the J2EERTOS14.SAR file?  Etc...
    Any tips/suggestions?
    Thanks much,
    Greg

    Hi
    You can check the patch number like this;
    D:\usr\sap\FT0\SYS\exe\uc\NTI386>jlaunch -version
Failed to reserve 1610612736 (0x60000000) bytes before loading DLLs (error 8).
    jlaunch information
    kernel release                700
    kernel make variant           700_REL
    compiled on                   NT 5.0 2195 Service Pack 4 x86 MS VC++ 13.10
    compilation mode              UNICODE
    compile time                  Jan 23 2008 20:42:28
    update level                  0
patch number                  128                         <<< Here is the patch number>>
    source id                     0.144
While regarding which file(s) to apply, please notice that the files you are not talking like
J2EERTOS16_1, is part of the J2EE support package stack, which can be applied with JSPM.
Regarding the kernel, you can alway refer to note 19466, and downlaod the lastest kernel from:
    http://service.sap.com/swdc
       Support Packages and Patches ->
       Entry by Application Group "
       SAP NetWeaver and complementary products"

  • Finding BI4 on UNIX Patch Level

Is there an easy way to determine the patch level of our UNIX SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence 4.0? Help about from the CMC shows Product: 14.0.0, but this does seem to be a patch level. I can't seem to find a reference to this in the help doc.

You've got a few options. If you're on the server, go to add/remove programs. You'll see the version there (patches show as separate items, so you will clearly see "BI platform 4.0 SP2 Patch 5")
If you're not on the server, go to the CMC, go to servers, right click on the Central Management Server and select Metrics. About the 11th item down is Version. You will see something like 14.0.2.439.
    Then Google it.
Or click here: http://jdh2n.wordpress.com/category/business-intelligence/sap-businessobjects-4-0/ (Nice one, Jonathan Haun)

  • SAP BPC 10 Checking Patch Level

    Hi,
I just want to clairfy my understand of how to check the patch level for SAP BPC 10. If I go to System -> Status: I can see Component: CPMBPC, Release: 801, SP-Level: 0003.
Does this mean that SAP BPC is in Support Package Level 3? In turn I have checked and it looks like the latest one is Support Package 12?
    Is this correct?
    Cheers,

    Hi Sara,
CPMBPC 800 and CPMBPC 801 are two different components, the one is with enhancement pack 1 in the BW component.
you can not install SP13 on a 801 to get SP6 according to you list.
your list is not correct, please see correction below.
    CPMBPC 800 SP1
    CPMBPC 800 SP2
    CPMBPC 800 SP8 = CPMBPC 801 SP1 ( = means they have the same corrections and functionality )
    CPMBPC 800 SP9 = CPMBPC 801 SP2
    CPMBPC 800 SP13 =  CPMBPC 801 SP6

  • How to determine the Plunin Bundle Patch version applied

Working to apply the EM DB Plugin Bundle Patch 12.1.0.5.8 (Agent Monitoring).  The current Plug-in Version is 12.1.0.5.0.  How can I check or determine that the 12.1.0.5.8 Plugin Bundle Patch has been applied to a given Agent?  Bundle Patches are being released maybe every 30-days.  Would like to be able to view the Plugin Bundle patch level for a given Agent to the 5th number, "8" in this case 12.1.0.5."8" .

From EM, go to the Agent target, on the bottom left hand side, you'll see a Configuration section, click on the Oracle Home and Patch Details link...
This will bring up the Oracle Home for the agent, and in the middle-right section there is a TAB for Patches Applied. This will list the Patch # and the Description, which has the 5th digit...
If you're on the agent, each plugin has it's own ORACLE_HOME.  You can find them by looking at the inventory, or run opatch from the agent...
if agent is installed in /oracle/agent, you will have a plugins directory:
    drwxr-xr-x  8 cllamas dba 4096 Feb  4 15:03 oracle.mysql.omys.discovery.plugin_12.1.0.1.0
    drwxr-xr-x  6 cllamas dba 4096 Feb  4 15:03 oracle.sysman.db.discovery.plugin_12.1.0.7.0
    drwxr-xr-x  8 cllamas dba 4096 Feb  4 15:03 oracle.sysman.emas.discovery.plugin_12.1.0.7.0
    drwxr-xr-x 11 cllamas dba 4096 Feb  4 15:09 oracle.sysman.oh.agent.plugin_12.1.0.4.0
    drwxr-xr-x  6 cllamas dba 4096 Feb  4 15:03 oracle.sysman.oh.discovery.plugin_12.1.0.4.0
    drwxr-xr-x  7 cllamas dba 4096 Feb  4 15:03 oracle.sysman.vi.discovery.plugin_12.1.0.1.0
    drwxr-xr-x  6 cllamas dba 4096 Feb  4 15:03 oracle.sysman.xa.discovery.plugin_12.1.0.6.0
You can run opatch lsinventory -oh /oracle/agent/plugins/oracle.sysman.oh.agent.plugin_12.1.0.4.0
to get the version and patches applied.   I've already upgraded to DB Plugin 12.1.0.7 so i don't have an example to show at command line, but it will also list out the patch # and description which will have the 5th digit.

    System Administration>Support>Version is one way.
Should display your version as 6.0.2.2.0 depending on what service pack, patch, and hotfix you are on.
