How to display a directory on server like JTree in applet?

I want to display a directory on server like jtree.
I use File("\\\\server\\directory") to present the root directory and use File.list() to display all file under root directory.Then I create Jtree object using files as treenode.
at last i want to display the tree in my applet,but in browser an exception occured,it said " can not find Class TreeNode ".
what can i do now ?

If you want to use JTree in an applet, there are two things you need to do.
1. Use Swing components for the applet. i.e. extend JApplet instead of Applet. See the Swing tutorial if this is new to you.
2. Find a way for the browser to access the Swing classes. The JVM that comes with the browser will not do this, so either distribute the classes with your applet or specify that the Sun Java plug-in be used. This will require a one-time download of a large file for each user.
These deployment issues are the reason why most applets stay with straight AWT and JDK 1.1.8 which are supported by the browser's "built-in" JVM. You should consider these issues before deciding to use Swing in an applet.

My situation is as follows : JDev 11.1.1.0.2, ADF fusion application, one unbounded task flow containing 2 view pages view1.jspx and error.jspx
The error jspx is marked as the exception handler.
When an error occurs (typically a 500-Internal Server Error) the error.jspx is correctly displayed and shows our message such as 'Don't panic, please call our tech support'
What I would like to do is to display the actual error stack on this page along with our message.
I've searched around and I can't find how to either get the error stack in a bean or what EL expression should be used to get the error stack.
Can anybody help ?

How to display active directory users through weblogic portal Application?

Hi,
Does anyone has faced this situation?
I configured the activedirectory and able to see the users and group in the weblogic console at Security->Realms->Myrealm->users. when I run my portal application,I am able to see only the users that are configured in embedded weblogic LDAP ie, I can see only the users weblogic,portaladmin and yahooadmin that are of defaultauthenticator provider.I need to display the active directory users also in our portal.
I have two doubts on this?
1)Is it I need to write custom code to view the active directory users in our portal?
2)Does I need to use any jars that supports active directory authenticator?
I would appreciate if any one can reply on this with helpfull docs/information.
We are using BEA 8.1 SP4.

Is there a place I can see how much data I uploaded other server like the old version of Sync did?

In the old version of Firefox Sync you can see what data was uploaded, with the next Sync I see nothing and when I got my account on the website Firefox, I don't see nothing just a sign in and change password screen. Would there be more there soon?

How to display HTML file (on server path) to ADF jspx page ?

We have a requirement to display HTML content which is in tabular format on a page. This page is jspx page based on page template and this html has to be shown on a radio button select. I am trying to do this with Jquery but since the id of all components in jspx comes as pt1:id (pt1 being the id of page template) and : being a special character in Jquery, I am not able to proceed further.
the syntax of Jquery to load html file a POC has been done outside Jdeveloper is working fine with a general syntax of

I'm working on check printing reports with XMLP. In the output I need to print the check number in the last line of the page in MICR fonts. To do this I have followed the below steps...
1. Installed the font (MICRe13b5.ttf) in local machine.
2. Also placed this font in "\apps\ued02\applmgr\common\util\java\1.4\j2sdk1.4.2_04\lib\fonts" folder on the WINDOWS 2003 SERVER.
3. We placed "xdo.cfg" in "\apps\ued02\applmgr\common\util\java\1.4\j2sdk1.4.2_04\lib\fonts" and "\apps\ued02\applmgr\common\util\java\1.4\j2sdk1.4.2_04\lib" folders.
We made an entry for the MICR font in the xdo.cfg file.
When we run the report it's showing the MICR Line in NORMAL FONT (ARIAL).
Can someone help me how to display the MICR fonts where Oracle Apps running on WINDOWS server?

A running BC4J application is actually the combination of:

* BC4J runtime libraries
In order to successfully run your BC4J application in local mode, the first requirement is
that your application server contains the necessary BC4J libraries.
This How To describes the steps required to ensure that you have a functional
BC4J runtime environment installed on your application server.
Oracle IAS 1.0.2 and Tomcat 3.1 will be used as examples.
THE BC4J RUNTIME LIBRARIES
Whatever application server you deploy to, the following libraries
are required in the following order to be in the classpath.
BC4J Libraries:

In this file you'll find the existing pre-installed BC4J libraries which

Note: Make sure to remove or comment out the existing 3.1.1 BC4J library entries!
To see the changes, you must restart IAS and that's it, your IAS will be updated with
the JDev 3.2 BC4J libraries which allow you to run BC4J Data Tags among other
things!
INSTALLING THE LIBRARIES ON TOMCAT
As before, this process involves both the copying of the libraries
and modifying the classpath.
After copying the BC4J libraries to a path accessible from Tomcat,
you can modify Tomcat's classpath by editing it's startup script:
<TOMCAT_HOME>\bin\tomcat.bat (NT)
<TOMCAT_HOME>\bin\tomcat.sh (Unix)
Here is a portion of a modified tomcat.bat (on NT)

will be in the classpath..

In the JDK 1.3 APi docs, i found that TimerTask was introduced only in JDK 1.3
Does this mean that BC4J (in jdev 9031) will only work
with JDK 1.3 or later?
