How to display the HTML pages in RRC/RQM dashboard using OpenSocial gadget
Hi,
I have a requirement as below:
1. I have couple of HTML pages which are hosted in the sharepoint site and I would like to display the HTML pages
2. I would like to have an OpenSocial gadget in the RRC/RQM dashboard that will display the HTML pages which are hosted in my sharepoint site.
Could you please suggest the best approach to create an OpenSocial gadget in the IBM's RRC/RQM dashboard whcih will display html contents of another URL ?

As I understand, you would like to display SharePoint page in another platform.
Since the you are involving third party platform, you might still need to contact their support engineer about how to render other pages.
From SharePoint side, by default, SharePoint won't let end user to display site page to other platform, you could add "<WebPartPages:AllowFraming runat="server"/>" in master page or single page layout. So that SharePoint ASP.Net
page could be displayed on other platform.
Here I'm talking about ASP.Net page, since HTML page in SharePoint cannot be displayed in browser as I tested, it will be downloaded directly. So I'd suggest you use ASP.Net page as workaround.

I'm using a JEditorPane object in order to view/display an HTML page. The nature fo my program is that it does not know the size of the page in advance, but only on runtime. I'd like to get the size of the HTML page in order to determine the frame size according to the size of the HTML page.
Is there a way to get the size of the HTML page from the JEditorPane?

JComponent class method getSize();
actually your question is not so clear
use the JScroll pane then you don't need to worry about the size of the page. -

Applet:how to display a html-page generated by servlet?
hi everybody,
I have an applet which posts data do a servlet and receives a response from the servlet (html-code). can anybody please tell me if there is a possibility to display this received html-page?
(I HAVE to use a post-request to the servler due to a lot of data to send...)
all my applet-servlet-communication is within a session with a jsessionid.
does anybody have a hint for me?

frankOne possibility is to have the servlet create a new .html file on the server and output the HTML code to that file. Then the servlet can pass the name of the file back to the applet, and the applet can useshowDocument(new URL(yourUrlHere), "_blank"); to display the page.

How to display the HTML File Titles instead of File Names
Hello All,
I want to display the HTML file titles instead of File names in the Search Results. I've tried to give this command in the 'Visible Properties' in the 'SearchResourceRenderer' as:-
Visible Properties: rnd:displayTitle
However this is not working for me. If anyone has an idea of what to pass here or any other alternative to display the Titles.

1) Standard Layout Set used: SearchResultLayoutSet
2) Create a new layout set using ADVANCED COPY
3) Change properties as you require
4) Next modify the search OTH file to reflect this newly created Layout Set (under KM > root > etc > oth > search.oth edit xml file property rndLaoutSet from SearchResultLayoutSet to MyCustomSearchResultLayoutSet)
5) Check in the document to complete the editing process if Edit Locally is used!
6) Lastly, activate the OTH file by
Setting Debugging settings via Debugging Settings
Performing a normal search
Clicking Rendering information and then following link OTH Overview click on Reload
7) Reload above reloads the OTH file and performing search again will yield the desired result
8) To turn off the Rendering Information link remove the user id from Debugging Settings.

I have two XML files one XML file has the view names and the other has the table names of a particular views, how to display the data in JSP using JDeveloper where when i click a particular view the list of tables of that particular view from XML file two should be displayed in JSP Page.
Are there any reference documents, regarding the above process please can anyone guide through how to do it.Let the servlet ask your business tier to provide the data, then stuff it into beans, and pack those into the Session instance. Then forward the request to the JSP, let the JSP get those beans and display them.

How to centre the html pages & How to set the Index as Homepage (just upgraded to CS5 and am lost)

Ive just upgraded to CS5 and am a bit lost!!
1st Problem
I updated our website design (which was previously designed in fireworks using CS3) using Fireworks CS5 and exported the images etc as html and loaded into the website folder.... however now Im in dreamweaver and ive tried centring the page, but when I go into live view, its aligned on the left....
My method.... I open the page, I select the 'table' then in the property box, under Align, i click 'Centre'. This was how i centred in the older version.
2nd Problem
Where do you set the homepage?? In the version ive been using up until recently, in the 'Local view' file manager (on the right) i would simply highlight the 'index.html' page, then right-click and select 'set as homepage'..... that seems to have disappeared in the newer version. How do I do this now???

How to display a HTML Page in Webdynpro (without IFrame)?
Hi everyone,
maybe this one is really simple. I have a RFC returning the URL to a HTML-Page in the backend. Which of the standard UI-Elements should I use to display that page in my Webdynpro?
My first guess was to use the IFrame. However, according to different sources this element is deprecated and buggy. So I'm hesitating.
Are there any other possibilities? Or is it ok to use IFrame nevertheless?

I took a look at the help document. It states that "_self" is no longer supported. And I should use exit plugs instead and specify the URL there.
But even that won't serve the purpose. I have other UI-elements (fields, tables) on the same screen where I want the page being embedded next to them as co-component. Using _SELF and clicking on the link would would remove all other components. -
How to display the first page alone first and two pages (back and front) then ?

I use acrobat 9 (beginner).
I have a document which should be displayed "as a book", ie two pages on the screen at the same time, the back of the first sheet and the front of the second one.
The problem I have is to manage to display the cover sheet as a single page (alone) and then to have the dual page layout as described above.
How could I do that ?

How to display an image on the HTML page by using applet
Dear friends,
I am now writing an java applet, I want to display an image on the HTML page, and tried the following commands:

However, when I run it, the image wasn't displayed at all.
