How to do Customization of EDI 4010 810 Invoice

Hi ,
We have to send data to a trading partner in EDI_X12-4010-810 (Invoice) format . But the format is not exactly same as the Standard 810 format which is generated using the B2B Document Editor. There are few Custom elements to be added to the Standard 810 and few Mandatory elements to be removed.
This is how i proceed.
1) Generated the Standard EDI 4010 810 Invoice ecs file using B2B Document Editor and then saved the corresponding .xsd file
2) Did the Customization required by editing the .xsd file
3) Then open the customized .xsd file in b2b document editor. It asked to save the Guide line file
4) Saved the Guide Line file
5) Then Configured the partner , document and agreement etc in B2B console.
6) Tried sending a sample input to B2B . It went to B2B , but at B2B console it shows error .
Are we doing the right way?
Is it fine to generate the ecs file from the XSD after Customization or the Reverse should be done?

If you customize the xsd, the ecs and xsd will not match in B2B. You have to customize the ecs in b2b document editor, then generate the xsd.

How can I customize a packing slip or invoice so that the products show up in numerical order and Not in some random order (maybe how they were put into the cart?) ? There HAS to be a way to do this!

We don't use the installation maker built into the application builder, instead we use a third party tool that is free and gives additional options; like including a license and to split the installation set to fit on floppies. It's called Inno Setup and can be found on: http://www.jrsoftware.org/. It is script-based but also has a nice wizard.
Inno Setup does not give you much room for splash screens though. There are a number of shareware alternatives (not all free as Inno as far as I've seen) that does, if you do a search for installer makers on download.com you'll get a list of them.

B2B adapter is not polling any data from EDI X12 810 ECS file

I am new to Oracle B2B. I am using
Jdev 11.1.1.6
Oracle Editor : 7.0.5.4016
Document Protocol : EDI_X12
Document type : 810 (Invoice )
Version: 4010
Weblogic server :11.1.1.6.0
Requirement is : i had an EDI file and i need to translate the EDI map using the B2B adapter, transport to SOA Suite and insert into a custom DB.
Issue is : B2B adapter is not polling any data from EDI X12 810 ECS file
for this i created sample EDI X12 810 ecs file, i converted the same to .xsd and .dat file. I created partner, and while configuring channel i used '*Generic File 1.0*' protocol and i given folder path( i also checked, by just giving folder Name) in the folder name property of 'Transport Protocol Parameters' , i also placed sample xml file into this folder. And I created sample process in Jdev to poll data from this folder.
build and deployment is fine for this process, but no instances is created for this process. and the Process is not Polling any data from the folder which i mentioned in the Transport Protocol Parameters.
is this the way am doing is wrong for my current requirement or am i did any wrong step (as stated above ) ? Please help me. How can i receive data from this EDI file to my bpel process so that i can continue with the rest of the Process. Thank you in advance

I placed .dat file now. The file Picked by B2B adapter. But i was getting the Error. The error i found in Business Message as

I also has one more doubt, now i created ecs,xsd and .dat by selecting sample EDI file in Document editor. suppose i want create the same ecs ,.xsd and .dat for my gentran file which is of EDI x12 810 standard but i have it in PDF format , then how can i access that to in Document editor ( in the import option, i found Gentran DDF and Gentran Unix IG and i was getting the following error while importing my PDF file

Dreamweaver and websites do not easily match up to Avery templates. If you are trying to develop a program for customers/etc to print labels, you should look for a script to generate a PDF file to ensure the accuracy of the printing.
If you are trying to use Dreamweaver as a substitute to print your own labels, I would highly recommend using Microsoft Word, or Adobe InDesign for a better solution.

change the default page of the user "public" to the page you have created.(by default it is WELCOME)

I want to use the "F" keys as the standard function keys so I checked the box in system prefs.
However......How do I customize any of the"F" keys?
I don't want to hold down the "fn" key to change the audio volume (F11 & F12).

You referred to reinstalling Mavericks. If you used a backup to migrate your applications and data afterwards it is possible you migrated the problem right back onto the computer. In SP3 you can get a DesktopBackingContext, from which you can get the desktop's definitionLabel or title. Perhaps that will work for you?

How do we send the EDI files like P45(1), P45(3), P46 etc.. to HMRC.
Oracle Payroll generates the files, but doesn't support transmission to HMRC.
Can these files be directly uploaded on the HMRC website ?
Are there any recommended third-party softwares for the same ?
