How to drive javafx webview to navigate a few webpages and do some actions?

I want to drive webview to open one url, click on some button, then get the result and then open another url and do something else.
I can process event by javascript called from java. but I am confused with the javafx thread model. How can I drive a javafx thread?
what I want is. Running javafx webview in background as a service.
javafx thread:
    while(true){
        waiting command from other thread;
        if(command quit) break;
        switch  command
            case Nav:
            case Click:
        save result to someplace shared with other thread.
driver thread:
    read command from somewhere such as standard input stream
    send command to javafx thread
    wait javafx result

From the driver thread, just submit your tasks to the JavaFX thread using Platform.runLater(). Note that runLater() is asynchronous; you may need to employ locks or some callbacks to get results back to the driver thread.

    I receive parameters key and id from requestParameterMap, but I do not want put on the page commandLink and do action after clicking on it.
    key = (String) FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequestParameterMap().get("key");

    I have some method activation () and I want run it after receiving key and uid ,
    May be I need phase listener? If yes, can you provide simple example.

    I'm afraid you'll have to use some kind of action listener; that's how jsf commandLink and commandButtons are design to work
    OR
    you could achieve your goal by writing a servlet mapped to the url . capture your request parameters and do the activation in your servlet.

    Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

    Hello ryane84
    The easiest and most efficient way to copy your music is to follow the steps under the External drive section. Make sure that you have organized the iTunes library first before you copy it over. Then put the copied iTunes folder in the same Music folder on your computer.

  • Javafx webview doesn't work properly with google keywords tool

    Hi,
    I am trying to load https://adwords.google.com/o/KeywordTool in a javafx webview but I keep getting the following error:
    There was an error with your operation. If you were trying to make a change, it may not have saved. Please refresh this page to try again. If the error continues, log out of your AdWords account, then log in again and return to this page.
    The issue is not consistent - once every 10 tries it works. I read in another forum that the issue could be due to missing sunjce_provider.jar but it persists even if I add sunjce_provider.jar to the libraries in my Netbeans project.
    The test is as follows:
    public class TestBrowser extends Application {
    @Override
    public void start(Stage stage) throws IOException {
    StackPane root = new StackPane();
    WebView view = new WebView();
    WebEngine engine = view.getEngine();
    String uri = "https://adwords.google.com/o/KeywordTool";
    engine.load(uri);
    root.getChildren().add(view);
    Scene scene = new Scene(root, 800, 600);
    stage.setScene(scene);
    stage.show();
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    launch(args);
    Am I doing something wrong ? or missing something ?
    Thanks.

    Thanks for the reply.
    I don't think the problem is with webkit, qwebview from Qt4 works fine for the same site. I used the flag -Djavax.net.debug=all, but it didn't print any debug messages in the console ? I added -Djavax.net.debug=all to command line parameters in the Run dialog of my Netbeans project. Is that the right way to do it ?

  • How to run JavaFX Jar with JRE 7 on MAC OS Lion 10.7.5 ?

    I had java 1.6 installed on my MAC OSX Lion 10.7.5. When I am trying to run that JavaFX application jar
    java -jar application.jar
    It always shows a dialog "The application require a newer version of Java Run-time" with download link. Even I have downloaded and successfully installed it on my MAC machine but it still shows me the same window.
    It installed jre-7u10-macosx-x64.dmg but java -version is always point to 1.6.
    Then I searched for Java Preferences to point the current JRE 1.7 but I could find Java Preferences at Applications -> Utilities -> Java -> Java Preferences.
    I found an Java Icon on System Preference. When I am trying to open that widow it's showing me error -- the java control panel opens in a separate window and nothing happens when we click on Re-open the Java Control Panel.

    I would like to know -- how to run JavaFX jar with JRE7 on MAC OS Loin 10.7.5? Is their any other way to run the JavaFX application JAR with JRE7?

    To find a copy of LP7 you would need to look for a copy on eBay.. However, the protection method used with LP7 no longer functions so you cannot register it and therefore you cannot use it. unless you have already registered LP7 yourself in the past using the security key dongle provided
    Any version of LP7 from a torrent would be an illegal (and most likely non working) version due to the protection that was used at that time... and so posting about it here, was not be wise.
    So.. thats why my previous answer was so brief... Simply put, you cannot use LP7 unless you already have a validated and registered security dongle... even if you found a copy of LP7 somewhere
    The only practical solution is to find some kind soul who already has a working version of LP7 installed, that you can send the projects to... for them to do the conversion for you.
    I would, but I no longer have LP7 installed here on any of my testbed Macs...

    Do I need to download the whole JAVA 1.7 on MAC to run the JAR? No
    Can not I run the Jar file with Jre7?Yes, you can.
    This may be because I have downloaded the JRE 1.7Yep, that's correct, the java_home command only works for jdk's - sorry for the confusion.
    For jre7+ versions, only a single Oracle jre version is allowed to be installed on the machine at a time - making a tool like java_home redundant for jre checking.
    Weirdly, jre7u10 does not supplant the Apple Java on the command line path by default. If you just type java -v, then the Apple java version will displayed if you have an old Java 6 from Apple and a new Oracle jre7+.
    The Oracle jre is always located under (also somewhat strangely):
    /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/javaTo test jar launching, I used the willow JavaFX browser pre-release jar available here:
    http://code.google.com/p/willow-browser/downloads/detail?name=Willow-0.1-prerelease.jar
    Then I launched the jar from the command line using:
    /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/java -jar Willow-0.1-prerelease.jar The JavaFX jar ran fine on jre7 with the above machine.
    The test machine was running Mac OS X 8 with Oracle jre7u10 installed as well as the Apple Java 6 runtime, but no Oracle jdk7+ installed.

    buy an external HD   1TB for $60
    NO notebook is a mass storage device, so dont try to turn it into one, it doesnt work that way.
    Unless youre using it every couple weeks, its static data and should be on an external HD
    In the case of a Macbook Air or Macbook Pro Retina with ‘limited’ storage on the SSD, this distinction becomes more important in that in an ever rapidly increasing file-size world, you keep vital large media files, pics, video, PDF collections, music off your SSD and archived on external storage, for sake of the necessary room for your system to have free space to operate, store future applications and general workspace.  You should never be put in the position of considering “deleting things” on your macbook SSD in order to ‘make space’.
    Professionals who create and import very large amounts of data have almost no change in the available space on their computers internal HD because they are constantly archiving data to arrays of external or networked HD.
    Or in the case of the consumer this means you keep folders for large imported or created data and you ritually offload and archive this data for safekeeping, not only to safeguard the data in case your macbook has a HD crash, or gets stolen, but importantly in keeping the ‘breathing room’ open for your computer to operate, expand, create files, add applications, for your APPS to create temp files, and for general operation.

    I have been dragging my files to a external drive to have a back-up for them and I lost some of my folders. They just went completely missing. I didn't delete them, and it was all stuff that I have worked on in the past month. How do I get them back?

    You really should be doing backups with an actual backup application, especially one that will work automatically, and, if your external HD is large enough, back up your entire system.  These can automatically back up only what's changed since the  previous backup, and some will keep "archive" copies of things you've changed or deleted, also.
    Too many things can go wrong, such as your internal HD failing, and you'll have a major project to reinstall everything.
    You already have Time Machine, built-in to OSX.  You might want to review the Time Machine Tutorial, and perhaps browse Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.
    #27 in the second link mentions some alternatives, too.

    G'day.  I am using iMovie 11 and need to clear disk space.  How can I do that using an external drive, leaving me the option to go back and make changes or access old events or projects from that external drive?

    The slightly bigger question is whether you want to move all movie content to the external drive (essentially meaning that drive will always need to be attached when you're working with your videos), or whether you just want to archive older videos off to the external drive.
    If you want to move all videos, then just move the 'Movies' folder in your home directory to the external drive, then create an alias of the external 'Movies' back in to your home directory. Now the 'Movies' icon in your home directory will point to the external drive and everything will just work (as long as the external drive is attached when you launch iMovie)
    If you want to archive older movies then each Movie should have its own subdirectory within your Movies folder. These can easily be moved off to the external drive, and moved back should you ever need to work on those movies again.
