How to enter a valid Edit Pattern for Time?

I'm tring to enter a pattern for the Edit Pattern and it kept giving me the invalid pattern error.
Here is what I have for the Display Pattern: h:MM A
And for Edit Pattern: h|hh|h:MM|h A|hh A|h:MM A|hh:MM A
The textbox is set to Type: Date/Time Field.
Help is appreciated.

The last two are the only valid edit patterns. All of the others are invalid. Here are the reasons:
- You have to specify the minutes
- If not using military hours (H, HH) you have to specify AM or PM
The only way to support the other patterns you are trying to use is to make it a text field and put
custom javascript validation on it.

How to do complicated validation in Webadi for AP invoice upload

Hi, experts,
We are about to develop a custom integrator to upload AP invoice. We have to do some validations in excel before upload and return error message to users, so that users can fix the issue and upload quickly.
As we know, we can use LOV or POP-list to do single-item validation, but how to do below validation?
Check whether the total amount of lines is equal to the header
We would like to use multi lines layout to upload, as below:
invoice number invoice amount line number line amount line price line quantity...

Our EBS is R12.1.3

Editing Pattern for a Swatch

I was thrilled that I created a pattern for a swatch to be used as a fill.
Unfortunately the pattern is too big.
How do I size it smaller?
When I use transformation it moves the whole shape not the pattern. I held down the little ~ like the book said to do but it did not work.

finally, I pretty much got what I wanted.
I had trouble because I have a color underneath everything (the whole design) and that's what was the problem.
without knowing any of this, would I hide that background color from certain objects by a mask? It sounds that way.
Also, if I wanted to put this pattern that I made on a diagonal, would I rotate it just like I scaled it? I did scale it along the way.
that's where the "~" came in. I got that to work of course by caps lock.
when I tried what you suggested, changing the fill color in the appearance panel, I was not able to move it behind the pattern. I could not find it in the layers. By the way it was a group, maybe that's why it was difficult to find. In terms or moving it, I'm assuming I would do that in the layers panel? If I could find where it is.
sorry for the crazyness, I don't know how you get through learning this with out it.

Enter a valid date error for ECM

in our scenario any changes to be done in material bom ecm to be created,but when i m trying to do chnages with that no. it gives enter a valid date error.

When ever any changes done in BOM , it can be captured in the same ECM number generated during the creation of bom under a valid date either u have entered or it will take current date as default date .
Now , if you forget that date , you should goto CC03-Engineering number and then check date from which it is valid .In CS02 , you should give that date along the same ECM number .Generally , it automatically pop up or else if it takes the current date during CS02 txn , u need to change the valid from date of ECM number

How much Minimum Disk Space is Required for Time Machine?

Are there any recommendations from Apple for the size of external hard drive for Time Machine?
Also, is there any formula for the amount of hard drive space = how any days, months, or years of backup available?
Sorry about the poorly worded question.

Size of HD = IBS + [30*DCD + 487*DCD]NM
or
Size of HD = IBS + 365NMDCD
where
IBS = Initial Backup Size (GBs)
NM = Number of Months wanted before HD fills
DCD = Daily Churn Data in GBs
So lets say
IBS=160 GB
NM=24 (2 years wanted before having to worry about disk full)
DCD=0.05 GB of daily churned data on average (50 MB of changed and new data)
Size of HD = 160 + 365240.05 = 598 GB
If you wanted just NM = 12 then the HD size should be around 350 to 400 GB
Much depends on how many months you want to go before being bothered with disk full and how much average daily data churn you have.
Note that TM will make much effort to clean up old data that can be safely deleted before giving up when disk becomes full. It will also provide you with the opportunity to clean up old backups yourself to free up space.
Of course you can always re-format the TM backup HD and start over again but you obviously lose your TM backup history. You can also to decide you can delete the oldest 6 months of data and keep the more recent history to continue on with thr freed up disk space.

How to turn off the 'Use disk for Time Machine?' warning

I have Time Machine set to OFF.
I use cloning software instead; "SuperDuper" with a "Voyager Q" unit attached via FW 800
I rotate my external backups HDs using 2 x 3.5" HDs.
How do I get rid of the annoying message; ‘Use disk for Time Machine?’ each time I attach an external HD?

Think I just found the answer to my own question.
External drive has to be mounted on the desktop BEFORE the following command is run.
defaults write com.apple.TimeMachine DoNotOfferNewDisksForBackup -bool YES
this assumes you've setup TM
Now I don't see that annoying message.

How do Iset a pass word for Time Machine? Have a guest user on my computer and the icon for Backup and WD Smart ware show up.
Want to block guest from looking at back files. I use OS X version 10.8.5

The option to remove the disk in the TM preferences is so you can use another disk if you want.

How to enter a style ID/Class for a box?

I don't see any apparent way to enter a style ID or class name for a selected box. Neither the "Layout" tab nor the "Styling" tab have a widget for this. No such presence in the Right-Click menu, either. Those are the places where I would expect this to be.
Why would I want such a thing? Because I'm a code jockey and will likely use ER as a preliminary layout designer. Then I will, likely, load the code into an editor, like Dreamweaver or Netbeans and finish the design from there. I use PHP a lot for dynamic designs such as database driven and things like "smart nav menus" that know not to display a menu item for the page that is currently loaded and that build auto-magically based on a site-map. Plus I use jQuery a lot.

You can change the IDs that are used by renaming the elements. Just double click the "box" or "image" label in the dom panel or selector at the bottom of the pages and type in what you want it to be.
We only use ID selectors so this is just changing the ID. If you want to use classes you can change that code when you are inside of Dreamweaver, but at least with your own name it should be easier to find in the code exported from Reflow.

One of my client is manufacturing both the Semi finished (Part "B") as well as Finished parts (Part "A") in their location.
The production capacity of the Part "A is 40,000 units.
But, the production capacity for the Part "B"is 60,000 units
At present he is handling the production unit with 2 different plans (manual plan).
Now the question here is,
1.He wants to feed both the plans in to SAP R3
2.Users should make use of the MRP generated planned orders only
How to configure is this?

Example :- The plan for item A = 20,000
I am entering the demand in MD61. after running MRP system generates planned order for item A as well as item B for the qty of 20,000.
Here the available capacity for item B is 40,000 hence we want to create planned orders for 40,000 for item B and 20,000 for item A.

HT2506 How can I turn off editing feature for all pdf files?

The editing feature is annoying because when I read pdfs, I select randomly with mouse on the file, which creates "editing behavior". What' s more annoying is it saves to the pdf file directly without asking me, which causes sync services like dropbox to sync the file, generating unnecessary traffic and disk usage. I never need to edit pdf files. Please give me an option to disable the feature permanently.

ok after another hour of playing around i might have half solved this...I turned match off via my account within the store which didn't seem to work properly, but then found another option to "turn off" via the store dropdown in the menu bar which does seem to have worked on my mac (but not yet on my iphone so still need to figure this out). Now I have turned it off on my mac it seems to offer me the option to buy it again - but as i've already paid for the year I don't know if there is the option to turn on again if I choose to later?

It seems that I've solved this issue. To get it work:
1. Select checkbox Time Recording and Travel Expenses via CATS for project type. Path: SPRO —> SAP Customizing Implementation Guide —> SAP Portfolio and Project Management —> Project Management —> Structure => Define Project Types
2. Run/schedule a synchronization with the report DPR_CATS_CPR_TRANSF (Transfer of CATS Itemizations to Project Management Application).

Does anybody know how to get a valid email address for Apple service? I am unable to call them during business hours and paid them over $200 a month ago to have a repair done ot my iPhone. I have heard nothing. They are usually good, but this time....

Sorry, but Apple does not provide technical support via email, so they have no published email addresses. You will need to find a way to call them. Or make an appointment with the Genius Bar at an Apple Store, if there are any near you, and have them follow up.

How to format an external drive used for time machine

My 150 Gig external hard drive showed too full for a time machine backup. It only showed 20 gig left. So I moved the time machine backup on it to the trash to make room for a new one. This did nothing. With the files in the trash the drive still shows full even though it has no time machine backup on it.
So I would like to know how I can format this drive again to get it to accept a brand new time machine backup. Or how do I get time machine to recognize the drive as empty instead of full.
I now know I should have at least a 500 gig drive to let time machine make it's plethora of backups. But the 150 gig drive is what I have right now to backup an 80 gig hard drive and I would like to start from scratch.

With the files in the trash the drive still shows full
You need to empty the Trash before anything is actually removed from the drive.
If you want to completely erase the drive, launch Disk Utility, select the drive, go to the Erase pane and click "Erase".

How much to partition on External HD for Time Machine?
