Is there other way I can do to execute (merge) this .reg file?

  • How do I merge multiple Excel files with more than one tab in each file using PowerQuery?

    Hello
    I have 12 Excel (.xlsx) files and each file has three identically named and ordered tabs in them.
    I know how to merge multiple Excel files in a folder using M (those guides are all over the web) but how do I merge multiple Excel files with multiple (yet identically named and ordered) tabs? Surely it is possible? I just don't know how to do it in M.
    Cheers
    James

    What Laurence says is correct, and probably the best thing to do when the sheets have differing structures. Here is an alternate approach that works well when the sheets all have the same structure.
    When you first open the Excel file from Power Query, you can see its structure in the navigator at the right-hand-side of the screen. If you select the root (which is the filename itself) and click Edit, you'll see all the tabs in the sheet as a single table.
    You can now do filtering based on the Name, Item and Kind values. When you've reduced the set of things down to the sheets you want, select the Data column and say "Remove Other Columns". If the sheets don't have any header rows, you can just click the expand
    icon in the header and you'll be done.
    Otherwise, if the sheets have headers or if some other kind of sheet-level transformation is required against each sheet before doing a merge, you'll have to write some M code manually. In the following example, each sheet has a header row consisting of
    two columns: Foo and Bar. So the only step I need to perform before merging is to promote the first row into a header. This is done via the Table.TransformColumns operation.
    let
        Source = Excel.Workbook(File.Contents("C:\Users\CurtH\Desktop\Test1.xlsx")),
        RemovedOtherColumns = Table.SelectColumns(Source,{"Data"}),
        PromotedHeaders = Table.TransformColumns(RemovedOtherColumns,{{"Data", each Table.PromoteHeaders(_)}}),
        ExpandData = Table.ExpandTableColumn(PromotedHeaders, "Data", {"Foo", "Bar"}, {"Data.Foo", "Data.Bar"})
    in
        ExpandData

    How do I merge 2 pdf files into one file?

    I use PrimoPDF (free download) to create pdf files. To merge two docs/pdfs/etc., print the first to a new pdf using Primo. Close it, then print the second and save it to the same new pdf. Primo gives you the option to 'append' or 'overwrite' the original file. By using 'append', you are just adding it to the back of the existing file. You can do this repeatedly to resort or combine existing pages into a new pdf.
    Also, I'm using Adobe Reader X.

  • How to execute a script(.sql) file from a PL\SQL procedure

    I would like to know how to execute a .sql file from a stored procedure and the result of it should update a table. My .sql file contains select statements.

    Hi!
    just go through the following piece of code -
    SQL> ed
    Wrote file afiedt.buf
      1  declare
      2    str varchar2(200);
      3  begin
      4    str := '@C:\RND\Oracle\Misc\b.sql';
      5    execute immediate(str);
      6* end;
    SQL> /
    declare
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement
    ORA-06512: at line 5ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement
    Cause: The statement is not recognized as a valid SQL statement. This error can occur if the Procedural Option is not installed and a SQL statement is issued that requires this option (for example, a CREATE PROCEDURE statement). You can determine if the Procedural Option is installed by starting SQL*Plus. If the PL/SQL banner is not displayed, then the option is not installed.
    Action: Correct the syntax or install the Procedural Option.

  • How would I merge two csv files in Powershell

    Hello,
    I have two CSV Files.  Each has a list of virtual machines in them. One CSV file has the name of the VM as well as details about the RAM, CPU, VM Details (from VMM).  The other CSV File has the name of the VM as well as the IP address.
    How would I merge these two together?  For any VM's that do not exist in either file I wouldn't want to drop these VM names either.
    Thanks.

    Thank you mjolinor for your suggestion.  This is not quite working for me.  What I'm seeing in the csv3.csv file all the  column details from the $firstCSV, and I'm seeing the headings included from the $secondCSV but all the details
    of the headings from the $secondCSV are empty.  Here is some more information for you:
    My $firstCSV file has the following headings:
    VMName  ChargedWA  BillingWA  VMOperatingSystem  VMHost  vCPUs  MemoryGB  StorageGB
    My $secondCSV file has the following headings:
    VMName  IPAddress  SubnetMask  Gateway  DNSServers  MACAddress  device0  Totalspce0  freespce0  device1  Totalspce1  freespce1  device2  Totalspce2  freespce2
    Each CSV input file has in common the column of VMName.  Most values in VMName are common to both input files but there are some values in VMName that are not in the other input file.  I'm looking to find the following:
    When the same VMname exists in both files, write out all columns for that record from both files into the merged file.
    When a VM name is in $firstCSV but not the second...still write out this record with the values from the $firstCSV.  The column headings from the $secondCSV would be empty for this record.
    When a VM name is in $secondCSV but not the first...still write out this record with the values from the $secondCSV.  The column headings from the $firstCSV would be empty for this record.
    It's funny how I think I've described my issue in my initial post but as I describe it more I further define the details.  I hope I've described my issue for all to understand.
    Thank you.

  • How to execute/call a cfm file in an Oracle stored proc?

    Hello everyone! I'm quite new to Oracle PL/SQL stored
    procedure. Is it possible and how do you call/execute a coldfusion
    file from an Oracle stored procedure? I know that cfm files can
    call stored procedures. How about the other way around? Any ideas
    or suggestions is much appreciated. Thanks..

    I'm having a hard time trying to think of why you would
    actually want to do something like that. However, all that aside,
    the short answer is no. The database has no real "knowledge" about
    ColdFusion, and there is no way for PL/SQL to "execute" anything on
    the ColdFusion server. Maybe if you were more specific as to what
    you were actually trying to do rather than such a generic question,
    someone might be able to help you find an alternative.

  • How do i merge all the files in a directory into a single file

  • Help! How do I merge multiple save files?!

    I have 12 scenes from a film I'm doing, and I've edited them independantly; this includes audio and colour correction. I have up to six audio tracks going in many of the scenes. It's due tomorrow, and I need to merge them together to export them into a single file. Although, my attempt at importing an already existing scene into another was really bad, because I lost all my editing on it. It was only the files bunched together. No colour or audio correction, or anything. That data seems lost.
    My first question is, is there a way merge them, and so their edits would stay?
    Secondly, if I can't do this, can I export all the scenes into, say, a .MP4 format, and them import them in Premiere again, AND THEN export it all as a single file? Would there be data loss?
    Thirdly, if there are any other creative ways of sticking this thing together, then please share!
    I've been working on this mammoth for three months, and it's due tomorrow.

    I hate to say this, but there is no way to put 1280X720 footage on a 1920X1080 sequence and upscale it to match the frame size without losing some quality. Basically, you are asking Premiere Pro to provide new pixels that were not in the original video. That is seldom a really good idea. You might want to try investing in program designed to upscale video. I have never used this, but there is a free trial, so give it a shot: http://www.infognition.com/VideoEnhancer/
    Of course, it all depends on the content. Try it with Premiere Pro. Only you can judge. However, you might need to consider putting all of your 1920X1080 on a 1280X720 sequence instead, and just produce your video at that size.
    Or, once again, this depends on the content, put some sort of frame around the smaller footage, either a blurred out version of the upscaled footage - lots of TV stations do this with 4:3 footage on a HD program, or purposefully make it even a little smaller, or crop it, and use parts of the same video in Picture-In-Picture. You have seen this before. A person talking on the phone in a larger frame to the left, and on the right a closeup of the mouth, or maybe a clip of the person they are talking to. Or use some B-Roll in the PiP.
    Get imaginative, because you already know that you messed up, so perhaps make it look like you did it on purpose.
