How to export entire swcv as xsd:schema or  convert tpz to xsd:schema

Is there a way to expose, generate, provide XSD view of content from PI for another repository rather than single object at a time?
With many objects that is a huge task.
PI isnt always the master messaging system. I was asked for the respository as XSD:schema from the Websphere guy to make it easy for the project.
is there an Export to schema tool or can the .tpz files be converted to schema ?
Or do I have to write one
BTW. PI version 7.1
Cheers
phil

What all things do you want to move to WebSphere? All the message types? A SWCV contains many things like namespaces, message types, mappings. Apart from message types, no other object corresponds to xsd: schema standard and therefore it is not logical enough to have a xsd schema structure for entire SWCV.
>>I was asked for the respository as XSD:schema
I doubt that any middleware can accommodate all types of messages as a single xsd schema representation.
>>is there an Export to schema tool or can the .tpz files be converted to schema ?
No there is no such option. TPZs are very much PI specific and are types of compressed file format. They again have no relation with XSD standard.

  • How to export a user and their schema from one 10g database to another?

    Hi,
I would like to export a user and their entire schema from one 10g database to another one. How do I do this?
    thx
    adam

If you want to export a user and the schema owned to the user, and import to the same user in a different database, or a different user in the same database, you can use the exp and imp commands as described in the Utilities manual.
These commands are very versatile and have a lot of options - well worth learning properly. To give you a simplistic shortcut, see below - I create a user 'test_move', create some objects in the schema, export, create a new user in the database 'new_move' and import.

There are many variations on the theme ...
You can simplify this. You can select tables individually. You can use a parameter file. You can transport all the constraints and data. You can skip the data and only move the definitions. You can get some help (imp/exp help=yes).
And, if it's all 10g, there is a new and improved facility called expdp/impdp (dp = data pump) which has a lot more capability as well, including direct transfer (no intermediate file) together with suspend/restart. Also documented in the Utilities manual.

  • HOW TO Export Entire Page Report, Not Just Regions, To CSV or Excel?

I need to export a main report (Page 2014) that consists of 5 different regions (Name, Feature, States, Admin Areas, and Maps), as one CSV file.
I know that I can set each of the 5 different region's report attributes to export by enabling the CSV output to Yes.
But , since my main report (Page 2014) has these many regions, I end up with 5 different CSV files.
There is no attribute to set for the main report (Page 2014) to enable it to export as CSV output.
How can I get an all-encoompassing CSV file of the main report (Page 2014)?
    Thank you in advance,
    Maggie

    Hello Maggie,
    >> How can I get an all-encoompassing CSV file of the main report (Page 2014)?
This might be possible using the advanced print server configuration, with BI Publisher, using the same technique that is being used to print master-details reports (which is a type of a multi-region report) - http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/html/configure_printing.html . The standard print server configuration only supports reports with a single region. If you have BIP in your organization, that’s great. Otherwise, CSV files don’t warrant it.
The only other option, I can see, is to create the CSV file manually, using the technique described in the following Blog entry, by Scott Spendolini - http://spendolini.blogspot.com/2006/04/custom-export-to-csv.html .

  • How to export entire pdf orginally created in Access to Word?

I can "print" my Access report to Adobe and the resulting pdf looks great. But when I try to export that to a Word document, it only transfers the labels and fields with a single database column as content. It does not transfer fields with mixed text strings and database fields.
Is there any way around this?

    Thanks.
Do you also know how i can split all the forms in a document?
I have created a lots of fields by copy paste, and it seem like when i try to write something it one form the same text appears in all the other fields as well. I fant them to be separate. Know how?

  • How to export the table from one schema to another schema

    Hi,
I've 2 schemas dev and test db
And i need to copy one EMP table from DEV to TEST db in windows OS
Could you please hint me in which schema which statement to be written ...
    Regards
    josh

    Hi,
I am not sure I got it all. Do you have 2 schemas in 2 different databases or 2 schemas in the same database ?
If both schemas are in one DB, you can :
    connect dev/***@DB
    grant select on emp to test;
    connect test/***@DB
    insert /*+ append */ into emp select * from dev.emp;
commit;Or use a create table emp as select * from dev.emp; if empl table does not exist in test schema.
If both schemas are in different DBs, you can :
    * use exp / imp tools
    * use sqlldr
    * use a database link
    Hope this helps,
    Francois

  • How to export entire iPhoto library to external hard drive

i am trying to move my library to an external drive and have followed these & similar instructions: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1256384
when it comes to the step of opening iphoto & choosing a library i select the one i dragged to my external drive & iphoto remains empty. why is this happening? i have followed it step by step several times. i've even had a friend help who has done it before & still no photos show up.

You must be doing something incorrectly since this works fine
Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive

  • How to Export InDesign Interactivities into HTML 5 without converting it through any tool?

I created some simple InDesign Interactivities like Drag and Drop, Text Input Fields, Drawing, Multiple check box, Radio selection, Drop Down etc.
When i export that interactivities in HTML, It will give me output of HTML page with interactivity in flash file. I expect that interactivities JavaScripts, CSS files. I also refer other suggestions on Adobe InDesign forum like below
    1. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4962514
    2. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4447318#4447318
    3. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4907133#4907133
They suggested Export interactivities into .fla/.swf and Convert it into javascript and Css using some online tolls like wallaby or Swiffy.
Is there any direct way available in InDesign that will give me proper HTML output with JavaScript and CSS that also compatible with devices like iPad, iPhone, Smartphones and other mobile devices?

They suggested Export interactivities into .fla/.swf and Convert it into javascript and Css using some online tolls like wallaby or Swiffy.
Last I checked Swiffy and Wallaby have limited ActionScript capabilities—they work best with simple timeline animations. I doubt you'd have much sucess converting ID .swf exports.

how to export and import from AIX to solaris a whole schema with different character set
import done in US7ASCII character set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set
import server uses WE8ISO8859P1 character set (possible charset conversion)
    Import terminated successfully with warnings.

The conversion between the character sets on the two servers are handled automatically. Export from one server will export the data given the character set defined on that server. Import into another server will import the data given the character set defined on that server, performing a conversion if necessary. This can be a problem when going from single-byte to a multi-byte character set. In your case, the warning is simply for your information, shoule be no real problem given the character sets you're using.

  • How can we take the incremental export using the datapump at schema level.

    Hi,
How can we take the incremental export using the datapump at schema level. Example, today i had taken the full export of one schema.
After 7 days from now , how can i take the export of change data , from the data of my full export.
using the export datapump parameter - FLASHBACK_TIME ,can we mention the date range. Example sysdate - (sysdate -7)
    Please advice
    thanks
    Naveen.

Think of the Data Pump Export/Import tools as taking a "picture" or "snapshot."
When you use these utilities it exports the data as it appears (by default) while it's doing the export operation. There is no way to export a delta in comparison to a previous export.
The FLASHBACK_TIME parameter allows you to get a consistent export as of a particular point in time.
I recommend you go to http://tahiti.oracle.com. Click on your version and go to the Utilities Guide. This is where all the information on Data Pump is located and should answer a lot of your questions.

  • Export & import of sap sid schema for building a new system

    Hi,
We have a quality BW system which runs on HANA SPS07 (Revision 73). The database contains many schemas in addition to sap<sid>, the rest of the schemas are used through native HANA and are very huge.
We are planning to build a new test BW system by system copy method from quality BW systems. We dont want the export/import of entire database as it will take a long time because of huge native HANA schemas, also the schemas other than sap<sid> are not required in the target. Please let me know how to copy only the sap<sid> schema to the new database.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Saravanan

    Hi Saravanan,
Try with rigth clic on schema -> Export,
Select CSV format, choose a directory.
And for import the schema use the follow query:
    import "old_schema"."*" as CSV from 'Directory' with replace threads 10 rename schema "old_schema" to "NEW_schema_name";

  • Export users from one workspace/schema to another

    Hello,
I need to export APEX users from one workspace/schema to a different workspace/schema. I only know how to export a sql file that combines the workspace with the users.
In addition to that I would like to bundle that with an application package so that I will be able to deploy the entire application all at once. Is this possible?
In an ideal world, it would be create if someone could send me "step-by-step" directions on how to package and deploy an APEX application so that everything (i.e. all database objects, seed data, application definition, users, graphics, css, js - and tell me in what order each should be created) would be in one script.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    LEH

    LEH,
You asked a similar question here: How to Create a Packaged Application
It's best not to start multiple threads on the same topic.
It is 100% impossible for anyone on this forum to tell you how to create seed data scripts without seeing your schema and understanding what data needs to be seeded. Have you taken the time to read the APEX user's guide on packaging applications? I believe that it's a good place to start, as once you understand the fundamentals of packaged applications, many of your questions will likely be answered.
As for moving APEX users, you can navigate to any application, click Import/Export, select Export, then click on the Workspace Users tab.
    Thanks,
