create or replace PROCEDURE newprocedur(outname OUT VARCHAR2,outroll OUT NUMBER) AS
CURSOR c1 IS
select Name,Rollno,Section from emp;

  • SSIS : How to create Column Header dynamically using expression in Flat File Source

    Hi Team,
    I need to keep configured Header Names for columns, Is there is any way to set each column name from expression? or is there is any other way?

    Nope
    But you could add a dummy row to your source to include column headers and then use options column headers in first row in flat file connection manager.
    So suppose you've three columns column0,coulmn1,column2 and you want to make it as ID,Name,Datethen make source query as
    SELECT 'ID' AS Col1,'Name' AS Col2,'Date' AS Col3, 0 AS ord
    UNION ALL
    SELECT Column1,Column2,Column3,1
    FROM YourTable
    ORDER BY Ord
    then choose  column headers in first row option

  • Custom row-fetch and how to get column values from specific row of report

    Hi -- I have a case where a table's primary key has more than 3 columns. My report on the
    table has links that send the user to a single-row DML form, but of course the automatic
    fetch won't work because 1) I can't set more than 3 item values in the link and 2) the
    auto fetch only handles 2 PK columns.
    1)
    I have written a custom fetch (not sure it's the most elegant, see second question) that is working
    for 3 or few PK columns (it references the 1-3 item values set in the link), but when there are
    more than 3, I don't know how to get the remaining PK column values for the specific row that was
    selected in the report. How can I access that row's report column values? I'll be doing it from the
    form page, not the report page. (I think... unless you have another suggestion.)
    2)
    My custom fetch... I just worked something out on my own, having no idea how this is typically
    done. For each dependent item (database column) in the form, I have a source of PL/SQL
    function that queries the table for the column in question, using the primary key values. It works
    beautifully, though is just a touch slow on my prototype table, which has 21 columns. Is there
    a way to manually construct the fetch statement once for the whole form, and have APEX be smart
    about what items get what
    return values, so that I don't have to write PL/SQL for every item? Because my query data sources
    are sometimes in remote databases, I have to write manual fetch and dml anyway. Just would like
    to streamline the process.
    Thanks,
    Carol

    HI Andy -- Well, I'd love it if this worked, but I'm unsure how to implement it.
    It seems I can't put this process in the results page (the page w/ the link, that has multiple report rows), because the link for the row will completely bypass any after-submit processes, won't it? I've tried this in other conditions; I thought the link went directly to the linked-to page.
    And, from the test of your suggestion that I've tried, it's not working in the form that allows a single row edit. I tried putting this manually-created fetch into a before header process, and it seems to do nothing (even with a hard-coded PK value, just to test it out). In addition, I'm not sure how, from this page, the process could identify the correct PK values from the report page, unless it can know something about the row that was selected by clicking on the link. It could work if all the PK columns in my edit form could be set by the report link, but sometimes I have up to 5 pk columns.
    Maybe part of the problem is something to do with the source type I have for each of the form items. With my first manual fetch process, they were all pl/sql functions. Not sure what would be appropriate if I can somehow do this with a single (page level?) process.
    Maybe I'm making this too hard?
    Thanks,
    Carol

  • How to fetch Quartile and Comp Ratio columns

    Hello all
    How to fetch Quartile and Comp Ratio columns which are present in Enter and maintain -> Assignment screen -> Salary screen.Are they direct columns from any table or calculation columns.
    Someone please suggest me how to fetch those columns
    Thanks in advance

    Can anyone help me in writing a procedure/dynamic SQL to fetch the column where the junk values appears and its value. Eg: If emp table contains ID and Name columns, and ID column contains junk values, the result should be the Id column and the junk value/s. It should be dynamic because next time if the other column contains junk values(like $,%...), the query should display the other column too..1. define "junk" values.
    2. usually it does not matter what values are in ID, because it is used internally by application, to maintain uniqueness or relations, not having any semantical meaning. End users usually should not see IDs, such IDs are generated automatically. There is no need to cleanse them from "junk" values.
    3. If you made a typo, and you are looking for "junk" values in Name column, it is a different story. You can use TRANSLATE to search such values, as already advised, translating all "junk" characters to one "junk" character and searching for the latter.
    select id, name from T where translate(name,'?@#$%^<>','~~~~~~~~~') like '%~%';

    So if I do something as follows in my stored proc, I do not have to check for NO_DATA_FOUND?
    OPEN my_CuRSR FOR
          SELECT DISTINCT blah blah blahmy_cursr is what I am returning as OUT param in my SP.Correct. At the point you open the cursor, oracle has not attempted any 'fetch' against the data so it won't know if there is any data or no data. that only occurs when a fetch is attempted.

    Suresh,
    Please check the name of the VCR configured in the UCm.
    You can use a batch file to load the VCR on to your Weblogic server. Using the name you can retrieve the contents from UCM.

  • How to fetch presence in Lync 2013 from SQL server (using query)

    We are running Lync 2013 setup with 5 FE and 2 BE SQL (mirrored) servers.
    How can i get presence information for our users by script or SQL queries?
    My Concern is to fetch out current presence information of a list of users (CSV file) by script (Powershell or SQL query) for automation purpose. So that one need not to go to Lync 2013 (or anything) Client for every single user, to check their corresponding
    presence.
    E.g Say a service desk agent is handling tickets of 200 users per day. So it will be time consuming for him/her to go to Lync 2013 client and check presence for every user. It would be better for SD agent to operate, if we could make a script to fetch presence
    status for the list of 200 users.
    We will fetch the information when required and send a mail to him/her.
    i have asked this question under Presence and IM forum.

    Create a Store procedure which will give you integer value according to presence status:

  • How to fetch message comments using JMA API?

    Hi All,
    From telnet <host> 143, and tring get comments associated with a message works well as shown below.
    2 fetch 8 COMMENT ("/message/vendor/ms/follow-up-flag-status" ("value.shared"))
    * 8 FETCH (COMMENT ("/message/vendor/ms/follow-up-flag-status" ("value.shared" "completed")))
    How to fetch the same details using Java Mail API. I couldn't get any of these flags when added to FetchProfile before fetching. The last option is using IMAPFolder.ProtocolCommand.
    Please suggest if there is a better way to fetch message meta data as "comment" using JMA
    Regards,
    Venkat

    I don't know what JMA is. I assume you meant JavaMail.
    Sorry, there's no direct support for fetching that data.
    You might be able to get this to work using IMAPFolder.ProtocolCommand.

  • How to fetch the child Nodes using XNode

    Hi All,
    How to fetch child nodes of XNode object ?
    I am moving my code to .net 3.5 so i was replacing XMLNode to XNode , but i could find any ChildNodes() method.
    Thanks,
    Pallavi

    As such this  is not a  SharePoint related question, even though there are many way to parse the XNode object.
    One way is,
    XNode an all other are derived from XElement, so you can use Linq to get all children by casting it with XElement, below is a snippet
    XDocument doc = XDocument.Load(""); //Path
    XElement ele = doc.Nodes().First() as XElement;//Just taking the first element as XNode
    foreach (var item in ele.Elements())
    var v = item;
    You can use Full Linq queries to find any node, just for example, below is a snipped to find a node based on a attribute value
    ele.Elements().Where(x => x.Attribute("text").Value == "text");
