How to fetch the text dynamically from text modules
Hello All,
I have a requirement where the I need to print the Form in multiple languages. For this I have created textmodules and maintianed translations as well. But for Spanish and Portugese there are two version languages. For example Spain has Spain english and South American english, similarly Portugal Portugese and Brazilian portugese.
In se63 transaction, we dont have two versions.Only one of them is available.
Therefore I've created a custom table where in which I will mainted country.langauge and textmodule name as 3 coloumns. I have cretaed a FM
where in I pass the country and language as import params to get all the respective text modules.
Now I tried to move the textmodules to some some structure which I finally moved it to Context part in Adobe form.
Now I tried to create text module, by giving variable name in the text field. For example i have passed &st_dun_texts-email&.
It says text module does not exist.
I have also created using dynamic text.There field name would be passed.But In the output I am getting the Text module name but not the content inside the text module.
The actual content which is there in the text module should be printed
Can anyone please help me out on the above problem. ? It is urgent....!!!!!
you could use SET LOCALE LANGUAGE myLanguage - so you can switch to the desired language and all texts will selected from that language.

How to fetch the relational data from the xml file registered in xdb
Hi,
I have to register the xml file into the xdb repository and i have to fetch the data of the xml file as relational structure through the select statement .
i used the below query to register the xml file in xdb.
DECLARE
v_return BOOLEAN;
BEGIN
v_return := DBMS_XDB.CREATERESOURCE(
abspath => '/public/demo/xml/db_objects.xml',
data => BFILENAME('XML_DIR', 'db_objects.xml')
COMMIT;
END;
Now i have to fetch the values in the xml file as relational data .
whether it is possible ?
can any one help me.
Regards,
suresh.When you transform your XMLdata to a xmltype you can do something like this for example:
select
extractvalue(value(p),'/XMLRecord/Session_Id') session_id,
extractvalue(value(p),'/XMLRecord/StatementId') StatementId,
extractvalue(value(p),'/XMLRecord/EntryId') EntryId
from
table(xmlsequence(extract(xmltype('
<XMLdemo>
<FormatModifiers><FormatModifier>UTFEncoding</FormatModifier></FormatModifiers>
<XMLRecord>
<Session_Id>117715</Session_Id>
<StatementId>6</StatementId>
<EntryId>1</EntryId>
</XMLRecord>
</XMLdemo>
'),'/XMLdemo/*'))) p
where extractvalue(value(p),'/XMLRecord/Session_Id') is not null;
For this sample I've put a readable XML in plain text and convert it to xmltype so you can run it on your own database. -
Change url text dynamically from text file
I need to use a text file created from a form to rewrite the
links on my main page. Can I put some kind of javascript in the

file created by my form?
Please help, this has got me really stuck. All help greatly

that is the difficulty with a text file...
if the links are to remain only for a session, you can set a
session var
a simplified method - using PHP - would be:
1. form
<form id="form1" name="form1" method="post"
action="process_form.php">
<label for="selectimg">Select Image:</label>
<select name="selectimg1" id="selectimg">
<option value="img_blue.gif">Image blue</option>
<option value="img_red.gif">image red</option>
</select>
</form>
2. process_form.php
<?php
$_SESSION['img_array']['img1']=$_POST['selectimg1'];
?>
3. wherever the image needs to be displayed:
<img src="/images/<?php echo
$_SESSION['img_array']['img1']; ?>" />
Please be advised that this is a very simplified version and
that if you
do use something like this you have to first clean up
whatever the form
submits. NEVER trust user input - it could be malicious
code...

How to read the Key value from the Message using the text value.. Urgent
I need to read the Key valuefrom the message pool using the text value for the Key.. Is it possible.. Please help me with sample code..
Thanks and Regards
AvijitAvijit,
I got your requirement. I really dont know the scenario your working on but its possible to do it. There is no direct way to do so, but complexity is in getting to know the Keys dynamically from interface.
Here you go..
try
Class msgClass = IMessageTestWDApps.class;
//Replace IMessageTestWDApps with IMessage<Your WD Component name>
Field keys[] = msgClass.getFields();
IWDTextAccessor textAccessor = wdComponentAPI.getTextAccessor();
if(keys != null)
String key = "";
for(int index=0;index<keys.length;index++)
key = keys[index].getName();
wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess("Key= "+key);
if(textAccessor.getText(key).equals("My message text"))
//your logic.
catch(Exception cnfe)
wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException("Exe "+cnfe.getMessage(),false);

What version of Premiere Elements is involved and on what computer operating system is it running?
Do you now have a purchased version of Premiere Elements?
You can not remove the Adobe watermark from an export from the tryout, be it an export of a file saved to the computer hard drive
or a burn to disc product.
But, you can remove the Adobe watermark from a project file (.prel) from the tryout. To do that, you open the project file from the tryout
in the purchased version. Then there are two possible scenarios
1. You go to Timeline Menu/Delete Rendered Files - the Adobe watermark is gone
or
2. You do nothing after you open the tryout project file in the purchased Premiere Elements. Many of us, including myself, have found
that opening the tryout project in the purchased program causes the watermark to disappear spontaneously.
Please let us know which works for you.
Thank you.

Please help me. Thank you so much in advance.

package java.io
InputStream.read(): int
Reads the next byte of data from the input stream.
Implementation:
InputStreamReader
An InputStreamReader is a bridge from byte streams to character streams: It reads bytes and decodes them into characters using a specified charset. The charset that it uses may be specified by name or may be given explicitly, or the platform's default charset may be accepted. -

secondly the value which are coming from tables are upper case but i need lower case. pl. guide
thanking ucheck out the smart styles...create a font of ur size n use.
Define the paragraphs & character formats using SMARTSTYLES & use them in your smartform.
You have to give the smartstyle name in the Form attributes-->Output options for the formats to be used in your smartform.
You can define font size in Smartform Style.
Smartform Styles > Charcterformat> Font --> size.
to load the font to SAP server chk this

How to reduce the level of free text / direct purchasing
A common problem at all sites is how to reduce the level of free text / direct / non catalogue based purchasing. This is where users enter an account assignment and free text instead of using an existing material number.
This is often the case because it is too "dificult" for the user to search and find the correct material number.
How have other sites handled this?
has anyone found a solution that if a user enters lets say "paper" into the free text box, a pop up appears with a match on possible materials with the word "paper" in the short description? This sounds like a pretty easy function to implement? Does anyone have the code?

Yes this works, but you have to tell that the user has to enter the text in the material number field, then SAP will search thru the database. -
How to change the font size of text element in smartform
Hi
i want to know how to change the font size of text element in smartform
regards
GincyHi
You can create Smartstyles, in which you can define paragraph formats for texts and character formats for character level changes.
Paragraph format ---> alignment, font size etc
character format for ---> superscript, subscript.
After creating, in your smartform, there will be a option in the text element to enter a style.
You give the created style and you can use the paragraph and character formats i that style.
Hope this is clear..

How to change the font size of Text box tool ?

I need to know how to change the font size. The default font size is too big.
let me know
ThanksI do not have AA6 available right now (I can check at home this evening). I am also using AA Pro, not Std. In AA7, there is a text box tool that is a commenting tool. When I started typing, a properties toolbar came up that had the font size and such. I haven't figured out how to get the toolbar after the fact. In AA8, I selected the text box tool and then went to view and selected the properties bar (the font size and all showed then), or use Ctrl-E when editing the text. I have not been able to figure out how to edit the text in a text box after you have created it - think it is a mental block right now. Bill
