How to read the Key value from the Message using the text value.. Urgent

I need to read the Key valuefrom the message pool using the text value for the Key.. Is it possible.. Please help me with sample code..

I got your requirement. I really dont know the scenario your working on but its possible to do it. There is no direct way to do so, but complexity is in getting to know the Keys dynamically from interface.

can any one please let me know how to read the job log from sm35 by using the session name and queue id. i have the job name and job count but is it possible to download the job log by using the queue id and session name.

HT1277 I can recieve emails but I can't send them out. The blue bar at the bottom left of the Mail page gets half way across and then the pop-up "Cannot send message using the server" comes up? What do I do?

Your outgoing mail server is different than your incoming server. Usually the outgoing mail server will have smtp in it. I noticed yours said "cannot send message using the server mail.wavecable.com". That sounds like an incoming mail server. Try setting your outgoing mail server to smtp.wavecable.com

if i understand your question
you have a prompt for year.. and it's assigned with presentation variable, say: var_year
And you are just entering value for only one year, say 2000.
Then, the request (which is using that prompt value as filter) should display year values 2000, 2000-1 (i.e. 1999), 2000-2 (i.e. 1998).
Is this your requirement?
If then,
Hope you are using edit box as control for year prompt and assign a presentation variable for that prompt.
Now, in report go to filter of year prompt, click on advance > Convert this filter to SQL.
write here... *Times.Year between @{var_year} and @{var_year}-2*
And make sure that your var_year is integer, if not cast it to integer

How do I send a fax from my A210 using the internal modem?

I have an A210 laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium and Office 2007 Professional and use the wireless network card to connect to our broadband modem.
For my business I would like to be able to send faxes through the normal telephone line direct from my laptop, rather than buying a fax machine.
There is a Toshiba Software Modem attached to COM3, but I can't work out how to use it to send a fax.
On older computers I have been able to set up the fax modem as a printer driver and have sent faxes directly from Word using a print-to-fax option.
I can't find anything in the general Windows help or Word help that shows me how to do this on my laptop.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

I use the The Zoom/Modem V.92 PC Card Plus on my Toshiba laptop - it is a 56K fax modem that plugs into the PCMCIA slot . Good performance and it has an on-board controller and Digital Signal Processor which is a nice feature. I am having problems setting the gain programatically from Labview 6, using the Hardware Config vi, for a PCI6110E DAQ board.

NB: This has also been posted to High Speed Digitizers forum.
Changing the "gain" (part of the "alternate input limits" cluster) appears to affect the group settings, but when I pass a signal outside the supposed new voltage range, the signal doesn't clip as I would expect. This doesn't happen when I use MAX (where clipping is clearly visible), but unfortunately that is not an acceptable long-term solution. Any thoughts? I am only using allowable gain settings for the 6110E.
Additionally, I am saving my data in hsdl format, and to get the actual true voltage from the binary numbers (after uncompressing and converting back to standard binar
y format) I need to multiply the final number by the gain. Should this be correct? I thought the "scale multiplier" (part of "group settings cluster") compensated for "gain", but it doesn't seem to do so. Is this part of the same problem?

Thanks Spencer. I do call Hardware Config.vi in several different places, so maybe its the multiple calls that is stuffing things up. I will investigate further.
As for the multiplier, which bit sounds correct? The fact that I have to multiply by the gain, or that it should take this into account automatically and therefore not have to muliply by the gain (which is what the default hsdl code does). What do you do to convert from binary to real?

Why is the content missing from my messages in the Mail app?

Yesterday, because my email addresses are changing, I modified the settings to my accounts in the email application Mail so that they properly connect to the new email addresses and settings.
Most of the accounts are working fine. However, in one of them, it appears the content of nearly all the messages (both received and sent) are missing or not displaying. The program sees that there are different messages and lists them properly in the Inbox and Sent sections but when I try to preview or open them, a blank white screen with the message "Loading..." appears where the message content should.
I did not delete anything that would have affected these accounts in this way, yet this is happening. I tried restarting Mail but the same problem persists. Again my other accounts in Mail seem to be fine.
BTW, I use Mac OS X v. 10.7.5 (Lion).
What can I do to restore the messages?

Would rebuilding the mailbox help? Or have people not had a good experience with that?

Use NVL or COALESCE:
NVL (col_a, col_b)
Returns col_a if col_a is not NULL; otherwise, it returns col_b.
Col_a and col_b must have similar (if not identical) datatypes; for example, if col_a is a DATE, then col_b can be another DATE or it can be a TIMESTAMP, but it can't be a VARCHAR2.

How do you log values from RT target to the computer?

I am using sbRIO 9633. How do you log values from RT target to the computer?
I created a shared variable on the RT target and used them on the log VI created under "My Computer", but I get error.
I get this error..

What are your data rates? If you are producing data "continuously", you might find that Network Streams are easier and more reliable than Network Shared Variables. In any case, you need an "engine" on one side (Host or Target) or the other. I'm streaming 24 channels of 16-bit data from a PXI controller to a PC this way, with three other streams handling two-way messaging and transmission of "occasional" time-stamped data to the PC.

Can we suppress the key figure from the filter values?

I have one restricted key figure.
1) Is it possible to hide the key figure for calender year 2009 and display it for year 2010. I mean can we hide the column dynamically?
2) Can we grey out the key figure from filter criteia so that it cannot be checked for specific calender year?
eg if i have 3 key figures as One , Two , Three.
In filter , it will show One , two , three and the checkbox . Is it possible to grey out the checkbox so that user will not be able to check it or tick it?
