How to filter the data on Reports from collected from differnet Agents
1) I have to write a Plug-in which would fetch the same type of data from 7 Agents. I need to generate the report for each Agent separately,This plug-in will be deployed in various different environment. So I will not know the host name as it will be deployed different environment. Can anyone suggest how to filter the data for each agent from the table. I see one solution of using Bind variable for the Target GUID in PL/SQL file. Can you please suggest if there is any other better way of doing this.????
Also Can you please suggest what are the best ways to debug the OEM Plug-in?

What I mean filtering data means displaying data for each Agent Seperatly. Assume I have collected Filesystem data from 5 Agents (5 different server). Now I want do display file system data for Agent1 (server 1). How would I fetch it from MGMT$Metric_Current. Currently I use a bind variable
??EMIP_BIND_TARGET_GUID?? to filter the data for a Agent from MGMT$Metric_Current view. I compare Target Name entered while deploying Plug-in with the Target_Name column of specified view.Is there any other way of fetching data from this table for a Agent?
I hope I am prety clear now. My Problem is IO dont want to force user to enter exact Server name while deploying Plug-in.

I plan to generate 3 cross-tabs, and each cross-table will be put in a section. For example, cross-tab1 in Report Footer a; cross-tab2 in Report Footer b; cross-tab3 in Report Footer c.
I know use "Select Expert" to filter data. But, it seems that "Select Expert" filters data for the whole report.
I want to filter the data for each cross-table separately. For example, filter cross-tab1 based on condition1; filter cross-tab2 based on condition2; filter cross-tab3 based on condition3.

Now that you've inserted the subreport just right-click the sub-report and click Edit. The Design page for sub-report should open up.
You can now insert the cross-tab on the Report Header and insert a record selection formula of your choice.
Also, suppress all the other sections of the subreport so the Main report only shows the crosstab without any spaces.
Do the same for all the subreports.

I got all the project name in dropdown when you select the project name in other textbox the project id will come automatically.
so I want to get only those project name that is assigned to that particular user.
I have
ProjectName(dropdown),
ProjectId(Textbox),
Employee code(Unique value),
employee Id (Unique for particular employee means if User A works on 5 projects so for all 5 projects the employee Id will be same),
Project Id( 5 projects 5 different id)
I didnt get the exact formula or I have to use any javascript code.Any help...
Thanks,If I am understanding correctly, you want to populate a drop down with values from a list.
Using InfoPath:
right click on the drop down to be populated, and choose drop down list box properties.
add the list with the values as a data source.
click the filter box next to entries.
select the field you want from the other list.
click filter data.
set the filter (click AND if you need more lines).
click OK on any dialogs you need to to get back to the editor.

Can any one help us regarding How to fecth the Date column(or month column) from the file name specified in the path in a generalized way .
For example :
file name is :subscribers (Cost) Sep13.csv is specified in the below path

here I need to fetch the "Sep13" as a Date column in the ODI 11g in the generalized way.
Can any one help us in this case as early as possible.I would suggest using a piece of Jython code for this. Something like this...

You'd need to work out what to do with datestr next... perhaps write it to a table or update an ODI variable with it.

You have two options of saving data to excel sheet:
Step 1:
Goto RSA3, change the "Data Records / Calls" to 1000 and then execute. This way instead of 10 different packets you will get one packet.
Step2:
Click on the list button, open the packet by double clicking it. You will see all the data on your screen.
Step3:
Goto System -> List -> Save - > Local File -> Spreadsheet and give some name for your xls file.

How to find the date when object is moved from quality to production server

I am working with BADI ZMM_PUR_REQ_PROC_001-Method Check and BADI ZME_PROCESS_PO_CUST-Method Check.
I need to add a check that a particular logic should be implemented only after this object is moved to the production server.
How can i check the date when an object (in my case this BADI) is moved to the production server?

So your reqt is that the documents created after your Transport implementation date should pass the check and others (old ones) should ignore.
I will recommend, if at all possible, to make all the old documents compatible to your check by doing a separate initial loading /one time activity to avoid this kind of hardcoding.
IF not at all possible to do so, then I think you should better hardcode your Transport req number and fetch date (AS4DATE) from E070 table and only if any entry exists, use that date as your required date. I believe this will be the date of transport imported in the target system.
You can avoid hardcoding Transport number by picking latest transport with respect to your object (BADI) using E071 table, but that will go wrong once you send any future changes in this BADI to Prod, so better to hardcode the transport.

How to tell the date of a source clip (from events) in a project
I am making a very long and complex project.
I am using events from IHD and EHD.
The project has tons of clips from tons of different events spanning over 10 years.
I want to add some still pics. I want the still pics to be inserted around the same time the video was taken (i.e. my pics are sorted by date and my video clips in events are also sorted by date).
Question is:
Is there a way to see the date of the clip being used in the Project???
(The events list the clip dates, but I have so many clips in the project, that I couldn't possibly find them all using the events view).
So, I want to be able to say, this 10second portioned clip in this project was taken on April 5, 2005 for example.
Can I do this some how??

Darn it.... I didn't realize this.
I put together a 20min project so far... it is composed of many many few second clips from probably over 100 different events spanning over 10 years.... now i want to add the still pics to it..... so I guess it is a little to late for this solution ;(. I probably should have added the stills during the time I added the video clips (since it would be hard to go back to see what events the videos clips in the project came from).
I like to put all the video clips in first and then add the still pics. Then add music last.

How to filter the data displayed in a datatable
Is there a way to populate a datatable so that the data displays in a column only when it is different than the previous rows. For example if I have a List of InventoryItems that have properties State, WHouse, Widget, Count.
And I want to display them something like this:

WH2 Widg1 100
Widg4 55
FL WH5 Widg1 687
WH6 Widg5 566I hope the formatting comes out correct. The GA & FL should be in the first column. WHX in the second, WidgX in the third, and the count in the fourth.

You can not directly vaidated records for all those fields which are not mendetory.
So after getting values in internal table check each record for given selection screen value if not match for any of selection screen value then delete that record fron internal table.

Using LabVIEW 2011 on Windows XP, SP3.
I am trying to use the Save Report to File vi, specifically a html report.
It allows replace and create file.
In my application, I would like to create or open the file. When I try to edit to include those options
and save the vi something breaks as it appears to be an OOP vi.
How can I perform this functionality?

Your question is fundamentally not clear. Why do you want to open the file if you're trying to save the report? Are you trying to append to an existing report? If so, the New Report VI has a "template" input. If you specify an existing report file it will be opened for editing. Please review the documentation on the report VIs. -

AFAIK there isn't a filter feature for Event Hub. The only way to have now is to put a specific property inside your EventData that consumer group can check to filter if it is interested in the data or not.
