How to filter the list of data

I am using af:inputComboboxListOfValues to display drop down list of data. The list is binded to a LOV.
I have a requirement that if the value is used in other place, I should not get it listed on the drop down list. I research doc that it let me use "launchPopupListener" to filter the list of data. As a test code, I coded like this:

Welcome to the ADF Forum. Have you looked into whether the PartialTriggers for the ui combo box have been set.

Hi,
I understand that you wanted to filter the Rest Api data based on Taxanomy columns.
Per my knowledge, in SharePoint 2010 , not all types of column are available via REST, most annoyingly managed metadata columns are amongst this group of unsupported column types.
However, in SharePoint 2013, we can filter list items based on taxonomy (managed metadata) columns.
Taxonomy fields can be now called via REST API using CAML query in REST calls.

How to get the list of data providers used in a web template?

I want to find a quick way to retrieve the list of data providers defined in the <object> tag in the Web template. One awkward approach is to parse the entire HTML page for <object> then filter out "DATA_PROVIDER: xxx".
But is there any method or function call to retrieve the list quickly?

Try the function below, pass the item name and get the Data provider for that particular item, you will have to do this for all the items in the template.

How to Filter the List in Combo Box in JDeveloper?

Hey guys, I really need your help regarding this matter. In JDeveloper, I need to filter the list in combobox in order for us to query faster especially when the list is very long. For example in a 'Country' combo box, when you type 'p' in the field, the list must filter simultaneously all countries that start with letter 'p' or when you place 'ph', all countries with 'ph' in the beginning. If you have sample codes, keywords needed, or sites recommended to solve this problem, it will be very much appreciated. Thnx.

How to filter the data
I got all the project name in dropdown when you select the project name in other textbox the project id will come automatically.
so I want to get only those project name that is assigned to that particular user.
I have
ProjectName(dropdown),
ProjectId(Textbox),
Employee code(Unique value),
employee Id (Unique for particular employee means if User A works on 5 projects so for all 5 projects the employee Id will be same),
Project Id( 5 projects 5 different id)
I didnt get the exact formula or I have to use any javascript code.Any help...

If I am understanding correctly, you want to populate a drop down with values from a list.
Using InfoPath:
right click on the drop down to be populated, and choose drop down list box properties.
add the list with the values as a data source.
click the filter box next to entries.
select the field you want from the other list.
click filter data.
set the filter (click AND if you need more lines).
click OK on any dialogs you need to to get back to the editor.
Test your form.

Now the BI 7.0 has the filter setting as 'Only posted values in InfoProvider' at the infoobject maintenance screen under BEx tab, and that solved the issue.

How to filter the data in different sections (e.g. Report Footers)?

I am using Crystal Reports 11 to generate cross-tables.
I plan to generate 3 cross-tabs, and each cross-table will be put in a section. For example, cross-tab1 in Report Footer a; cross-tab2 in Report Footer b; cross-tab3 in Report Footer c.
I know use "Select Expert" to filter data. But, it seems that "Select Expert" filters data for the whole report.
I want to filter the data for each cross-table separately. For example, filter cross-tab1 based on condition1; filter cross-tab2 based on condition2; filter cross-tab3 based on condition3.
How to filter the data in different sections (e.g. Report Footers)?

Hi,
Now that you've inserted the subreport just right-click the sub-report and click Edit. The Design page for sub-report should open up.
You can now insert the cross-tab on the Report Header and insert a record selection formula of your choice.
Also, suppress all the other sections of the subreport so the Main report only shows the crosstab without any spaces.
Do the same for all the subreports.

How to filter the data on Reports from collected from differnet Agents

1) I have to write a Plug-in which would fetch the same type of data from 7 Agents. I need to generate the report for each Agent separately,This plug-in will be deployed in various different environment. So I will not know the host name as it will be deployed different environment. Can anyone suggest how to filter the data for each agent from the table. I see one solution of using Bind variable for the Target GUID in PL/SQL file. Can you please suggest if there is any other better way of doing this.????
Also Can you please suggest what are the best ways to debug the OEM Plug-in?

What I mean filtering data means displaying data for each Agent Seperatly. Assume I have collected Filesystem data from 5 Agents (5 different server). Now I want do display file system data for Agent1 (server 1). How would I fetch it from MGMT$Metric_Current. Currently I use a bind variable
??EMIP_BIND_TARGET_GUID?? to filter the data for a Agent from MGMT$Metric_Current view. I compare Target Name entered while deploying Plug-in with the Target_Name column of specified view.Is there any other way of fetching data from this table for a Agent?
I hope I am prety clear now. My Problem is IO dont want to force user to enter exact Server name while deploying Plug-in.

Let me clarify well.
I am trying to create a list of values based on dates contained in a table. This list of values should contains the "years". If the table contains data for the years 2005, 2006, 2007, then the list of value should return :
2006
2007
2008
As I want a list of value I need to have a display and a return value. The name of the table is 'dynamic' It is the item P4_SITE that contains a part of the name of the table. This is why I am usins PL/SQL, because I don't know the name of the table in advance.
I have not seen any way to put a pl/sql statement in the List of values definition of the item. Thi s is why I try to make a LOV with the SOURCE of the item.

How to hightlight the new inserted data in the last low of JTable?

i am doing the e-restaurant application system .
When press the food button, the JTable will list out the order details.
When the order is long, the scroll pane will show up.
My problem is[ b] how to hightlight the new inserted data in the last low of JTable when the food button is press every time?The scroll pane will automatically scroll down the to the new insertted data.
In the List, i get the effect like this command but in the JTable how?

Filter the list of inputComboboxListOfValues inside an iterator.

I have a worker that has multiple services. I iterate over all services to display them in the worker form. Each service can be modified. A worker can't have the same service twice. I have added in the database unique constrain <worker, service>.
When I add the same service to the worker twice and press save button. No error message shows up.
What I am trying to do is to filter the list of the af:inputComboboxListOfValues to not have an option to select twice the same service of a worker.
Or to display an error message on the component with the service that is appearing twice.
I already tried to filter the inputComboBoxListOfValues list but since it is the same component being iterated can't make the filter work.
