Command-Shift-3 and 4 works just fine on several Macs that I have here.
Try restarting your Mac....or post in the specific support area for your Mac model....for more advice.

How to achieve this using UWL

I have the following requirement for Travel request workflow and Invoice approval workflow. Please let me know how to achieve this.
While sending a work item to sap inbox we will put the base BO in the task container right so that the approver can open the particular transaction.I need the same functionality in UWL but instead of the BO i need to place some link so that the user can open an iview or webdynpro application. Basically the user dont want to login to SAP GUI he needs everything to be done in Portal itself.
Do we need to do some settings in tcode SWFVISU for this or do we need to change the associated xml file in UWL to provide the link to iview. Please advice.

If i understand your requirement correctly, you want to place a link of BO in UWL but don't want that to get to SAP GUI. Right ?
I think it's possible. We had ECC 6.0 and EP 6.0 with SP 11. And, we had the requirement of showing up the TRIP BO in UWL thru' an iVIEW. We tried the SWFVISU and it didn't work. But, i think this facility has been taken care in later service packs. Pl approach SAP and they should be able to help you out. I'm not sure about the details of the solution SAP provided us, but it worked for us..like there will be a button "Display XXXXXX" which infact opens up your BO in UWL without logging into GUI.

You can do with SOFM method select over there Excel Sheet as same format you can select all fields respectively so in the output in an attachment you will get the values as you like that format in the same way multiple line items also you can retrive data in Excel sheet attachement, then using this FM you can send mail with this attachement.

data source must be in canonical format.
This format is:
YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss+HH:MM

I never used field symbols before and I think this is where I should use field symbols in my program.
I have a selection parameter period (p_period) and based on the p_period value(XX), I need to display the HSLXX, KSLXX from table GLT0 using field symbols. Can anyboby help me?

Right, you can use field-symbols, here is a example.
report zrich_0002.
data: xGLT0 type GLT0 .
data: field_name(20) type c.
field-symbols: <fs> .
parameters: p_per(2) type n.
* Read a line from table
select Single * from glt0 into xglt0.
* Build the field name that you want to access
concatenate 'XGLT0-HSL' p_per into field_name.
* Assign it
assign (field_name) to <fs>.
* Write it
write:/ <fs>.

How to format this string 7414;#Butler, Heather at the same time handling the data type

I need to insert a nvarchar type column with data like 7414;#Butler, Heather into a int type column, but only with the number before the before the character ; in the mentioned string.
In the above case only 7414 needs to be inserted into the in type column of another table. This integer value need not be restricted to 4 characters. It may be 3 or 5 characters too or anything.
Any help is appreciated....

Where as now it coming as QTY : 54.00
So, how to format this field in the Formula Editor while concatenation of
"QTY : " + CStr()

cfinsert tablename attribute, how to format for Oracle

I've been using <cfquery> successfully for a long time
to do table inserts, but now I'd like to use <cfinsert> for
the simple inserts. However, I'm getting error messages. A typical
<cfquery> against my Oracle database would look like:

INSERT into abc.action_type_def (field1, field2, field3)
VALUES ('value1', value2'', value3'')
</cfquery>
I tried the following <cfinsert> but got the error
message that follows the tag:

ERROR:
Message: There are no columns found for the given table name
"PRFA.ACTION_TYPE_DEF".
Detail: This error may be caused by not specifying the table
name in the format that the database server expects. (For example.
Oracle Server table name must be upper case or the Server table
name must be qualified in the format of "schema.table_name". For
the SQL Server, the format is "databasename.username.tablename",
such as in customers.dbo.orders)
I've tried upper and lower case on the tablename attribute,
tried leaving the "abc." off, but I just can't seem to get it to
work. Any idea how to format this tag to go against an Oracle
database?

Word of advice: I would stay away from using cfinsert and
cfupdate tags, unless you are prone to masochistic tendencies and
enjoy pain and suffering. These tags are notoriously bug-prone, and
cause more work than they save. Just my opinion, but I'm sure that
it is one shared by many on these forums.
Having said that, you might take a look at the attributes for
this tag, as you seem to have combined the schema (table owner)
with the table name, as in ABC.ACTION_TYPE_DEF, which should be
listed distinctly using separate attributes, namely tableOwner and
tableName respectively. Note: I don’t use these tags so this
“fix” is just based on reading the
LiveDocs
for this tag.
Since you have so much more control using cfquery, and you
said that you have been using it for quite some time, why switch to
using cfupdate/cfinsert? If you already know enough SQL to do an
insert or update , then you really don't need to use these tags.

I am working as a consultant for a manufacturing company.
They have a format for charging Excise and Sales tax on their products (example below). I dont know how to implement this using oracle apps. Please help me ASAP.
eg.
Product A:
MRP = Rs. 100
Assessable Value (i.e. the value at which I have contract with the Government to pay Excise Duty) = 60% of MRP = Rs. 60 in this case.
Excise Duty = 16% of AV =0.16*60 = Rs. 9.6
Now, lets suppose I am selling my product to a dealer at 30% discount.
Therefore, Sale Price = 70% of MRP = Rs. 70
Sales Tax = 4% of Sale Price = 0.04*70 = 2.8
Therefore, total revenue from the deal = 70-9.6-2.8 = Rs. 57.6

you can use Advance Pricing or creating discount or attiribute while calculating.
this is not much complex, possible even with Advance Pricing too. Thanks

Thanks for getting back. Hadn't got round to re uploading the amended feed. I just did it now.
The only thing is, Feed Validator doesn't like it because of the picture size, and a couple of other things, it reeds the following:
