How to get currect date by using month and year
hai,
By using month like 'Jul' and year like 2007 i want to get full date like 01/06/2007(format).Please give me query for this?My fields for month and year are respectively vr_mnth(varchar) and in_year(number)
i used to_date function but it accepts only one string .if i give like this
to_date(vr_mnth,in_year,'dd/mm/yy') it will gives me syntax error.
If i give like this vr_mtnh='Jan'
to_date(vr_mtnh,'Mon') it will give output
01/01/2008 it shows me current year
if i choose from table wich is strored with month-'Jul' and year=2006 it shows me
01/07/2008 only .It doesn't shows me that 2006 year
If i give in_year in to_date it gives me that currect year.
Ex:to_date(in_year,'YY')..............>01/01/2006
Individually to_date function works fine but i want to club both to get accurate date format of specified month and year.Is there any function for that in sql to get 01/07/2006?

Its possible to display table data without using ALV and table element.
Every time i am fetching data based on (customer,status) fields and displaying these data in my output using alv
(every time i am fetching single row data ),
But problem is alv occupying more space in the output , i want to display data part only i dont want field names,
settings and header data etc..things.

Does you mean that you need ALV without default Function Toolbar...? If this is the case, the easy solution would have been to use Table Element rather. But, if you need to use ALV only without Function Toolbar, you can do away with that as well.
In that case, after calling GET_MODEL, you need to add few more lines of codes to achieve your goal. Those lines are --

Is there any FM to get the no of weeks for a given month, say 01 2005.
Can i get the week numbers say 1 2 3 4 5 for the given month and year.

Use FM DATE_GET_WEEK twice; first time pass first day of the month and again pass the last day of the month as a parameter. So u will be having week number(yyyyxx) for the first week of the month and week number for the last week of the month. From these two, in between week numbers u can easily fetch. How to get performance data out of SCOM and into a 3rd party management tool

I am creating an integration between a 3rd party management tool and System Center Operations Manager 2012 R2. I need to export performance data from SCOM into our application for both HyperV servers and virtual machines. Our application runs on
linux so I cannot do any .NET programming.
What is the best way to do this? I am aware of using the Usage SPF web service but this will not share performance data for the hyperv servers, just the virtual machines .

We can use SQL query to get SCOM data out, but about how to send those data into your application, this should be related with how you develop your application.

How to get the Day of the Month and Date on Home Screen
The home screen has the signal strength on the upper left, the time in the middle and the battery status on the right. What is missing from my old phone (really, really old phone) is the day - like Sunday, and the date - like the 20th. I have to go to a calendar program to get what should be available at a glance, just like the time.
Can this be done?

COLOMBIA ...When you get an error with external tables (or sql*loader) look in the same folder as the data file and you should get a .log file and maybe a .bad file too.
The log file should indicate the nature of the error it has trying to load the data.

How to get the data from one table and insert into another table
Hi,
We have requirement to build OA page with the data needs to be populated from one table and on save data into another table.
For the above requirement what the best way to implement in OAF.
I understand that if we attach VO object instance to region/page, we only can pull and put data in to only one table.

1. Create another VO based on the EO which is based on the dest table.
2. At save, copy the contents of the source VO into the dest VO (see copy routine in dev guide).
3. commiting the transaction will push the data into the dest table on which the dest VO is based.
I understand that if we attach VO object instance to region/page, we only can pull and put data in to only one table.
if by table you mean a DB table, then no, you can have a VO based on multiple EOs which will do DMLs accordingly.Thanks

Hi,
I need to to get first date and end date of a month and year in yyyyMMdd format. I am reading month and year from a properties file. But I don't know how to get the first date and End date in given format. The properties file gives me just text. But I don't know how to get the date format using this. I need this urgently. Can anyone help me to get code for this?
I am reading the fields as,
Properties props = new Properties();
props.load(new FileInputStream("AnyMonthVolume.properties"));
String date_month = props.getProperty("date_month");
String date_year = props.getProperty("date_year");

RE:RRI Checks how to get the data my reports.
Hi,
I have two reports overview&Detail reports.When i execute overview report i am getting the data.in the same report i am integrated the detail report.when i am trying to open detail report in overview report i am not getting the data it shown the error No Data Available. But data is there in Detail report when i execute individually.
i Did the RRI Checks also,
Pls help me how to get the data in detail reports and also give me the steps which i have follow.

Let me rephrase my Question
I have an overview report and a detailed Report Both of them are working fine individually. But when i link them using RSBBS the detailed report is not giving any data. it gives "no Data available". There is no assignment details maintained. it is having the default value. (generic and *)
please let me know what might i be missing
