How to get Tablename by using only Column Name in Schema?

Hi,
Here I need a small information. I am looking for the TableName based on Column Name.
I know the Column name but not in which Table that Column belongs? So is there any way to look the Table Name by giving Column Name as an Input parameter in Oracle Schema.
If anybody have the answer please help me out.I appriciate your help.

The three data dictionary views:
<ol>
<li>USER_TAB_COLUMNS</li>
<li>ALL_TAB_COLUMNS</li>
<li>DBA_TAB_COLUMNS</li>
</ol>
Contain both the column name and the table name (among other things).

I am using XSD package from eclipse to read my schema structure (which is very complex) The code part where i am problem is as:
If the schema is having element like :

I guess you need to define a stored procedure with "invoker's rights".
If this is what you are looking for will have to define it in the stored procedure that you are going to call.
The syntax is as follows:

but I cannot find any function that will let me do this. I really don't want to clutter the code by creating a name->object lookup table.
I had also considered using the XML data type but I would have the same issue unless I had all the choices under a single root (possible) but that could be a nightmare in debugging typo's in the XML.
Any suggestions???

I have three tables T1 ,T2, T3 having

Clo6 col8 col9 --> T3
columns i want to get only all Column names from all table as single Resultset not any data from that how can i get that empty resultset
because this empty result i want to bind in datagridview(front end) as Empty resultset

If I understand you want an empty result set, just with metadata. SET FMTONLY do the trick:
SET FMTONLY ON
SELECT Col1, Col2, Col3, ....., Coln
FROM
T1 CROSS JOIN T2 CROSS JOIN T3
SET FMTONLY OFF
Another alternative is to include an imposible contition
SELECT Col1, Col2, Col3, ....., Coln
FROM
T1 CROSS JOIN T2 CROSS JOIN T3
WHERE 1 = 0
If you are using a SqlDataAdapter in your client application. You can use the FillSchema method. the select command may be any select statement that returns the columns you want. Under the covers FillSchema will call SET FMTONLY ON.
If you are using SqlCommand.ExecuteReader you can pass SchemaOnly to CommandBehavior argument. SET FMTONLY ON is called under the covers. Again the select command may be any select statement that returns the columns you want.

How to pull only column names from a SELECT statement without executing it? It seems there is getMetaData() in Java to pull the column names while sql is being prepared and before it gets executed. I need to get the columns whether we run the sql or not.

Am facing the same issue stated above that I couldnt get all the records in the table that am querying in the Proxyservice.
For example:
fn-bea:execute-sql('EsbDataSource', 'student', 'select Name from StudentList' ) is the query that am using to fetch the records from the table called StudentList which contains more than one records like
Id Name
01 XXX
02 YYY
03 ZZZ
I tried to assign the result of the above query in a variable and while trying to log the variable, I can see the below
<student>
<Name>XXX</Name>
</student>
I want to have all the records from my table in xml format but it's not coming up. I get the value only from the first row of my table.
Please suggest.

Multi Row Selector using Generic Column Names (parse query at runtime only)

I created a tabular report which had a multi row select in it - got the deleting working fine.
Am now creating a second tabular report, but because of the SQL:

I have to select the option Use Generic Column Names (parse query at runtime only) otherwise I cannot save the form.
My problem is I am now unable to add a multi row selector to the tabular form. If I do and run the form I get the following error - failed to parse SQL query: ORA-00904: "COL11": invalid identifier. Also when I go back and edit the form the multi row selector has been removed.
Can anyone tell me why I can't add a row selector like I previously could?

I added aliases and to the decode columns, and I can now add a row selector to the form without any problems.

You can build Internal Table and send this to the parameter "IT_SORT".
eg:
"the sorting Internal Table structure is as whown below.
DATA: t_sort_info type slis_t_sortinfo_alv.
"Build the Sort Internal Table

t_sort_info-subtot = 'X'.
append t_sort_info.
t_sort_info-fieldname = 'FLDATE'.
t_sort_info-subtot = 'X'.

Then pass this "IT_SORT_INFO" table to the Function module "Reuse_alv_*". (Note send the body of the Internal table only like "<b>IT_SORT = IT_SORT_INFO[]</b>".
Here i am making ALV output sorted on CARRID & FLDATE.
You can specify only the First Column name for sorting.

if you're using flash.filesystem.FileReference - then it is run in black box - except of filename, size and creation data (and few other properties available after some operation succeeded). This is part of security features in Flash runtime (described in header section):

I referred PLKO got the Task List Type (PLNTY), Group(PLNNR), Group Counter(PLNAL), Plant(werks).
I passed this in to PLPO, The problem in PLPO is we dont have the distinguishing field Group Counter(PLNAL), so I am getting all the ARBID including both alternates.
How to get the ARBID with respect to Groupcounter 1 alone.
If a get the ARBID , I can get the ARBPL from CRHD.

Use PLAS Table also. you have to use PLKO> PLAS> PLPO.
Pass PLNNR & PLNAL in PLAS and get PLNNR & PLNKN.
Then pass these into PLPO.
