How to handle RunTime Faults which doesn't list under System Faults?

Hi,
I have a doubt regarding runtime faults in BPEL 1.1.In BPEL 1.1 some of the run time faults are categorised as system faults.So we can handle those run time faults
using the faultname or namespace(http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension) of system fault itself.But 'SublanguageExecutionFault' is a run time fault which doesn't list under system faults.
So what namespace it belongs to?Can we use the same namespace of system fault for this kind of runtime faults ?
Are any other runtime faults existing which don't have the same namespace of sytem faults?So how can we identify and handle those run time faults?

You can create a role menu as remote enabled remote menu.
The authority checks will happen on the remote side, also against objects which don't exist in the calling system as the music is on the other side.
On the RFC client system side, you only need the parameter transaction to start the remote transaction in the remote system.

This is however a rather antiquated technology... it is more popular to use a SAP Portal or webdynpro applications for this sort of thing (the user does not notice the difference) or later versions of such integration such as Fiori UIs or imbedded links within the Business Client.
I don't want to lean out the window too far, but the buggy phase of these new things is approaching an end and they are usable if you are on newer releases. Then you can pool the menu and use APIs for navigation and no more irritating S_TCODE checks.

Read note 1152612 - Incorrect component type in structure WRMA_S_RESULT_DATA.
The error occurs in Release BI_CONT 703 Support Package 9.
If you require an advance correction for Support Package 9, make the following manual changes if the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG is inactive in your system.
1. Use transaction RSA1 to call the Data Warehousing Workbench.
2. Check whether the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG was already activated by the compilation process the first time you called transaction RSA1. You can use transaction RSD1 to check this by entering 0TCTLSTCHG in the "InfoObject" field and choosing "Display". Proceed as follows if the InfoObject is still not active:
3. Go to BI Content activation.
4. Select "Object Types".
5. Open the "InfoObjects" tree and select "Objects".
6. Search for the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG and select it.
7. Transfer the object and activate it.
These steps activate the required component type /BI0/OITCTLSTCHG. You can check again in transaction RSD1 to ensure that the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG is available as active.

How to handle user preference which has "_" and " " in the name

Hi Experts,
I have a question how to handle value which has like "_" and "space" etc in user preference.
If setting "a_b-c d", I could not retrieve this because it's escaped in database.
So this code can't get value even though I can set it.
Is there any restriction of name? Is there any documentation how to code user prefernece which has non alphabet and number in the name?
I know it's possible to handle the data like adding escaped data. But I don't think this is the best way to retrieve the data. Because nobody confirm it's not problem in the future.
Could you tell me the best way to get these user preference?

Plumtree recommends that user preference names have only alphanumeric characters in them (a-z, A-Z, 0-9). Any non-alphanumeric characters will be encoded by the EDK.
I strongly suggest that you change your user pref name to something that's alphanumeric. However, if that is not possible, you can use the following workaround: in the web service editor, enter the encoded name for the user pref. There are several ways to get the encoded name.
One way is to encode the pref manually, yourself. Plumtree uses the %u encoded format: each non alphanumeric character is converted into %uxxxx, where xxxx is the Unicode representation of the character. For all ASCII characters, just look at the ASCII hex chart. For example, character "-" has a hex value of 2d. So, a preference name "jane_pref" would be encoded to "jane%u002dpref", and you'd enter the latter value on the preferences page in the web service editor.
The other way to find out the encoded value is to set a preference programmatically and use the HTTP tunnel tool to look at HTTP traffic between the portal server and remote server. The remote server will be sending a HTTP header to the portal server (the header name will probably be CSP-User-Pref) and inside the header you should see the pref name, encoded with %u. Just copy it out of there and into the web service editor.

How to Add New Domain To Available Domans List Under General Parameters

On the SMTP Inbound Server configuration page how does one add a domain to the list of local available domains? It appears to only give me a choice of my current domain and then a "com" domain.

Specifically to the question, you'd need to create a new domain from the traffic_cop Administration tab. I suspect though that there is a hidden implied need in your question - why do you want to add another domain to this list?

How to handle runtime error in PreUUT step when running in Parallel mode

I would like to run Test UUTS in parallel mode, and some actions are done in PreUUT such like read serial number and fixture control.
The process model won't goto PostUUT Step when runtime error occurs in PreUUT step, so i would like to add some actions to check if sequence error in cleanup and go back to setup in PreUUT step, but i find it skip all the actions in setup and main step?
What should i do if i want to go back to run PreUUT again as the first time to run when runtime error occurs?
Or, is there any good way to handle this kind of error withour restart program?

This question does not depend on PreUUT or ParallelModel at all.
First of all:
A Runtime Error is a situation where TestStand encounters a problem which makes further testing either impossible or senseless. So a Runtime Error always indicates a situation where proceeding the test sequence is not recommended.
Nevertheless, there are situation where you want to handle those errors without stopping the execution. A "traditional example" for this is initialising serial/GPIB devices. If the device does not reply, there might be different issues the operator can easily resolve and (if corrected) the sequence can proceed properly. The operators action could be:
- Check if device is switched on
- Check connection between PC and device
So the error state is used to inform the operator about the malfunctioning device and regarding of the actions the operator takes, the execution will either proceed or terminate.
When TestStand encounters a Runtime Error, it initially reacts with displaying a dialog. This behavior can be modified in the Station Options >> Preferences >> On Runtime Error.
Furthermore, you can install callback sequences which are called if an error occurs. Those would be either SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError or ProcessModelPostStepRuntimeError (depending on the fact if you are changing the process model or simply working with client sequence file callback overrides). These are "normal" sequences you can use in order to get system information, loop on the step or....essentially do whatever you want. If you want to proceed though, you must not forget to reset the error flag.

How to handle runtime exceptions for sync scenario?

 I have a synchronous scenario.
 Request :
 webservice -
> sends input data -
> PI -
> SAP R/3 --BAPI
 Response:
 webservice -<--- PI <sends back any validation error or successfully processed message----- SAP R/3 --BAPI
 Here a webservice uses SOAP adapter to send input data to PI. While PI uses ABAP proxy to send data to SAP R/3.
 The problem is when the BAPI takes too long to process and resulting in timeout exception in PI. Is there some way we can catch this runtime exception in PI and send it to webservice as response?
 Please help!

You can invoke a Business Process and open a sync / asyn Bridge. In the process call the FM synchronous and define an exception branch which you access in case of system failure. In the exception branch execute a transformation step to fill the response container with a corresponding error message.

How to enable login screen which doesn't require a password

I'm setting up an image for a computer lab. The computers that are currently in this lab auto login. However, in the off case that a student accidentally (or maybe purposefully) locks the computer, we want them to be able to simply click the user account
picture and it logs in without asking for a password. The current Windows 7 PCs in this lab work that way, but whoever set them up can't remember how this was accomplished and I can't figure out for the life of me how to get it done. Currently, if I lock the
PC, it just brings me to the login screen with a blank username & blank password field.
These machines are not on the domain. Does anyone have any idea how to get this behavior out of the login screen?

How to remove a device which doesn't exist any longer

Since Snow Leopard iSync looks for my historic device Siemens S65 when syncing with MobileMe. I then removed the device from the bluetooth-list. But iSync is still searching and giving me an error alert.
In the iSynch menue you can add a new device but not remove an old one which is not connected.
The problem is, that the old Siemens S65 does not exist any longer.
Has anyone an idea?

But in addition: while syncing on my MacBook with MobileMe the process runs without starting the application iSync. On my iMac it does and after syncing it does not quit automatically.

How to handle the Idoc which is locked

Hi Experts,
   As per my requirement ,I am triggerring an inbound error Idoc incase when some updation fails for 'VA42' T.code and I have also developed the inbound functional module for reprocessing the error Idoc which has been triggered through my report program.
Actually the problem I am getting now is
- The user wants to see the error idoc number.Hence I am displaying the Idoc number in the report output ( i.e in list ) as well.
- If I try to reprocess that Error idoc number using 'BD87' It is not calling the inbound functional module.While debugging I came to know that it's raising the exception has ' Idoc && is currently locked '.
But when I come out of the report output ,BD87 is calling the inbound FM.
Pls give some suggestions ,So that I can reprocess the Error idoc ( status : 51 ) without coming out of the report output.

if the data is locked the idoc will be in Pratially posted(status 52 ) or not posted ( status 51)..
so run the Program RBDMANI2 for status 51 & 52..
or
go to t-code swo1-->IDOCSTATUS --> enter idoc number execute ..
                                                    first run method -->Processing of IDoc Containing Errors
                                                    next run method-->IDOC.StatusProcess
                                                    and chage the status from 51 or 52 to 53....

How to Handling XML footnote which have attributes

I searched in this forum related to XML footnote discussion. Still I need more clarification/discussion related to this process.
I need maximum input and suggestion related to this topic to streamline our process.
Our projects have around minimum 50 to 900 footnotes for each chapters, our client requirement is XML-IN workflow.
The problem here is all our footnotes have attributes, like "url", "xref for Ibid" etc.

As we know that when we convert XML footnote to Indesign autofootnote, we will lost all the attributes.
Till enumerator I can store it in TextStream itself "<note id="law-9780199691654-note-003001" type="footnote"><enumerator>1</enumerator>.
Once I convert it to auto footnote, I lost rest of the attributes, when I export to XML I am just getting the text (eg. "Ibid")
Please share your thoughts/suggestion (how can we store the attributes let it be in any form).
If I change my workflow to 2 text stream process.
Two text frames, one for Text and the other for Footnote. can we automate the process.

You cannot apply xml tag for the idesign's footnote. Indesign will not allow you tag it. File a feature request for this. I think somebody did it already, google it.
If you want xml tags along with, you have to use individual text frames for the footnotes,

There is no add-on or plug-in at the Gibiru webpage & it doesn't come up under the Mycroft Project search. Why can't I open Gibiru.com in the Firefox browser & click a button under Options or Search Manager to make that page my default search? Firefox claims to be so 'fast & flexible', but it's functionality stinks compared to MSIE.

Then, whenever you go to a website, you can just right click the search field and choose to add it to your search bar
Unfortunately, it seems that website doesn't support an even easier method of adding a search engine, detailed at [[Search bar#w_while-visiting-a-website|While visiting a website]]. But, for other websites, you can use that technique.

Select the playlist u want to add song goto edit>add songs then goto the purchased song u want to add select the+sign next to it and it will be added to your playlist
