How to have alternate colors in table component?

Hi everyone,
Using the jsf data table, you can easily set the rowClass to set alternating row colors.
I am sure it is possible to do the same using Sun's Table Component. Please share how???
I looked in the theme css but in vain!!!

Hi,
I dont think that pushbuttons will be of much use as when you click a button same code will be executed all time.
So, you can take either selection column in table control (use the SELCOL in the table attributes)
or you can also take a checkbox in table control and then can perform action on lines which were selected by the user.

Hi Guys I am having problems in getting the work flow with color to work and keep asking question on how to fix it , so i am thinking is there any body who would like to share how they got color to work and what setting you use, what formats ect. so we could get a list of working mac that every body can see. so please if you are up and running and your wrok flow works please tell me and all the other just how you have done it

welcome here!
Maybe your message tells us more about some frustrations you have been experiencing rather than the actual technical glithces you have encountered.
Therefore, I start with a very symple reply.
When I need Color to grade my video (usually DVCPRO HD) I simply go to file>send to>Color.
I colour grade, render and send it back to FCP.
Never had problems with that.
To use Color you may need (recommendable) dual core intel processor or higher, 4GB RAM or higher, X1900 graphics card, High Def. external monitor. An external or internal drive capable to let you edit on the fly.
I noticed that you are using Leopard.
Issues related to the new OS with FCPstudio2 are quite common and we are all taking notice of it.
Leopard was not specifically designed for FCP users so those and other issues were more or less predictable.

How to control background color of table cell in an html report?

I am using Labview 6.1 to generate a report. In that report there is a table created using the Append Numeric Table to Report VI. I want to be able to programmatically control the background color of each cell in the table. Also, how can I programmatically control the background color of the row and header cells of the same table. I am also generating a second table in the same report using the Append Text Table to Report VI and I would like to programmatically control the background colors of the cells in that table as well. i´m not sure if there is an ready to use function to do what you want, but you can enlarge the available function. Open the "Append Numeric Table to Report.vi" and go to the HTML Case. There you can see another vi which creates the html table. In the VI "HTML Report Table Row" you can add the option: bgcolor="your color" inside of the "TR" tag.

Is there any way to customize a dropdownlist?

How 2 have certain color in layer below make parts of layer above transparent

I have an opaque layer. The underlaying layer has green spots. I want those green spots to "shine through" the upper layer. How? In Photoshop there are blending modes, I haven't found anything similar in AE. I use AE CS5.

The blend modes in AE are just like the blending modes in Photoshop. I think you're looking for the Blend If layer style.
Or you might be looking for this:
The first can be brought into After Effects by importing a PSD as a composition with the Blending Options set in layer styles. It will show up under Layer Styles and can be copied and pasted to other layers. Unfortunately, you cannot make the blend adjustments in AE, you can only turn the effect on or off. The API's just don't exist that allow that to happen.
It looks like this in AE:
The second, Preserve underlying transparency is just a check box in the timeline. I use this feature all the time. You'll find the box between the blending modes and the track matte. There's a T at the head of the column. In a strange twist, this feature does not come into the timeline when you import a PSD as a composition, it must be turned on manually.

Hi!
appendRow() method just add temporal row. For add them to DB commitChanges() method should be used. So you can use appendRow() method several times, fill every new row and only then use commitChanges() method. In this case all new rows will be added to DB per one time.

Using pure CSS is unfortunately not possible since a certain webbrowser developed by a team in Redmond for some unclear reasons doesn't support overflow in tbody (else this is solveable in only 3 or 4 lines of CSS). You have to use Javascript in any way, so I would just immediately start with it.

BOXI 3.0 To have different color if bar graph

Alias here. I have one question.
I have made Bar Charts-Vertical Grouped in BOXI Web Intelligence.
The graph is just shown one color for every bar eventhough the bar represent different categories.
How to have different color for each bar? Can we do that in BOXi webi?

Alias, if you want to change the default color you can do it on grah properties (Appeareance/Data/Palette).
BO shows the same color for the same measure.
If you need different colors for each category you could create one variable for each category and include them in your graph.

In your data structure you have tu put a field for the color, example:

You have create a form for the layout like this:
FORM init_layout.

Perform the init_layout in the initialization.

Table component - how to find out which cell is clicked

Hello!
I have a couple of questions regarding table component
1. Is there any way to find out which table cell is clicked on?
2. And is it possible to paint clicked cell programmatically?
Possible solution might be a Select Boolean Checkbox inside a cell, but anyway, i'd have to determine which cell contains this checkbox (some kind of cell coordinates, etc...)

Hello Pavo,
it's also possible to take the code from ebitar and use the expression within styleClass instead of inlineStyle.
E.g. you can define a custom style "StyleClassEmptyText" in your skin and set this styleclass if af:inputtext is empty.
By using style classes you can have the same style in the whole application and you are able to change this style on a single point(in the styleclass) for the whole application.
