How to identify no of queries executed by a user in a given time

Hi All,
version 11g
os Linux 5.6
Am trying to find out total number of queries executed by a user in 30min of time. This information is required to understand how many queries are getting executed by application for the analysis purpose.
Could some one help me to get this information.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best Regards
Mvk

Dear Vlethakula,
I tried query below query
select sql_id,TO_CHAR(sample_time,'MM-DD-YYYY HH24:MI:SS') from dba_hist_active_sess_history where snap_id in
(select snap_id from dba_hist_snapshot where sample_time between to_date('02-19-2013 19:00:00','MM-DD-YYYY HH24:MI:SS') and
to_date('02-19-2013 20:00:00','MM-DD-YYYY HH24:MI:SS'))
and user_id='572'
{code }
But when i see in  awr report number of executions were more .
Ex: i tried above query and got output as 1880
During same time period for the same query(accessed only by this user from application) in awr it is showing 16000 executions.
Am i doing some thing wrong?
Thank you very much

  • How to identify all jobs that were running at a particular point in time?

    TES 6.1.0.391
From time to time, we have a need to identify all jobs that were running at a particular moment in time on a particular agent (we have about 800 agents)...eg "what was running ("Active") at 09:03:42 a.m. two days ago on agent XYZ?"
I've used other job schedulers, and have written queries to extract that info, but I thought before I work on one for Tidal that I would ask the community....how are you getting this info?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

  • How to Identify database sessions used by forms sso user sessions?

    Hi:
When using forms with SSO, all database sessions are opened by the same OSUSER (usually oracle), from the same machine (usually the forms server) and by the same program (usually [email protected] [TNS V1-V3]).
I need a way to identify the database session (v$session) that is beeing used by a specific SSO user. By using SSO, we say implicitly that all users using that SSO resource will be connect to the database by a specific database user.
So, what can I do to identify the database session that a specific forms user is using ?
    Thanks
    Joao Oliveira

You could try something like the following in a when new form instance trigger:
    declare
    authenticated_username varchar2(30);
    begin
    authenticated_username := get_application_property(`sso_userid');
    DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO.SET_CLIENT_INFO (
    client_info IN VARCHAR2);
    end;
This will store the sso userid in the client_info field of v$session.
I hope this works for you.

  • How do I generate a compiled app with a user interface running real-time?

    Hi everyone,
I've developed a simple application that uses a PXI chassis to run.  It toggles some discretes and does some simple things, but it doesn't really have any "real-time" requirements.  We're just using the PXI chassis because we have it and we need the discrete I/O.
My question is this - how can I convert this application to a compiled real-time app and yet maintain the front panel on the local PC.  LabView appears to simply do this for me.  I am connected to the real-time target via ethernet.  When I compiled the program, it puts it in the target's startup directory, but how do I run the front panel from the local PC?
    Thanks,
    Jason

    Hi Jason,
Below are some links that should get you started with deploying an application onto your real-time target and then controlling it from a PC that does not have the LabVIEW Development environment:

  • How to Identify Last  Command Issued by user??

    Hi Everybody,
I need to create a form in which the current state of the form depends upon the last command issued by the user.
Suppose if user clicks 'delete record' or 'insert record' or 'enter-query' or something else.
So, how to identify the last event executed by the user.
    Any suggestions...
    Thx in advance,
    Raj

You can write something into a Form parameter in the POST-INSERT/UPDATE/Query triggers.
Then you can check the value of this parameter when needed.

  • How to create a verification pop-up message for queries executed on Web

I have implemented the function RRMS_MESSAGE_HANDLING in my customer exit variable code for step 2  in the customer include ZXRSRU01.  I am able to get warning and error messages to appear in Bex Excel queries, but not queries executed on the Web.  I have also tried implementing these queries in a Web Template which allows system messages and warning messages, but still these messages are suppressed.
Is anyone aware of how to create warning messages that appear both in Bex Excel and Bex Web queries?

    Hi,
Please check the table RSRWORKBOOK. Enter the name of the work book, it will give you the GENUID of the query. Pass these values to table RSRREPDIR. You will get the names of the queries.

  • How to identify all the information for a given company code?

    Hi,
Our company provides data migration services for SAP and other ERP applications. Our customers provide us the specifications for extractions and conversions. We use one or more 3rd party tools to extract data from legacy systems into text/Excel files. Customers use LSMW to load generated files.
We just got an unusual request. This customer wants to get ALL the data from SAP for a given company code and dump into Excel. They would do some manual editing on the data and load it into a new SAP client.
In the past, customers would be more specific in their requirements. For example, they will mention Materials, Customers, Inventory, etc. In this case, the customer simply wants ALL the data for a given company code.
Q1. Is everything in SAP related to company code, either directly or indirectly? For example, can materials be filtered by company code?
Q2. The tools that we use let us extract data from SAP using SQL-like queries. How do I identify ALL the tables that I would need for a given company code?
My feeling is the customer themselves are not clear on what they really want. Perhaps they are expecting us to guide them.
I would appreciate any thoughts that you may have.
If there is a more appropriate forum for this question, please let me know.
Thank you in advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Peter

  • How to identify whether a multiline container is empty or not in Workflow?

    Hi Experts,
Does any1 know how to identify whether a multiline container
is empty or not in a workflow?
    Thanks.
    Points wil be rewarded.
    Vincent

    Dear Vincent,
You can get the report name for the Business Object which contains the multi-line container, from the BO itself. Put a break-point in the report and try executing the workflow. The multiline container is like an internal table in the report. See if the internal table is initial while execution.

  • How to identify what are all the events are created in background jobs?

    Hi all,
how to identify what are all the events are created for  background jobs. And what events gets triggered for a particular job.
    thanxs
    haritha

    Hi Haritha,
JOB is a program which starts to a determined point of time and executes some standard programs in the system. JOBs can be planed to a determined point of time on the regular basis (every night, for example) or to some discret time moments. So, the JOB can be planed and then will be started automatically without the manual start.
Realtime programs are understood in the most cases as actual program execution which is started by somebody to the actual moment of time.
Typically per JOBs some special processes will be started that should be executed automatically and regularly: for example, IDOC application, some correction reports, statistic updates etc.
Standard jobs are those background jobs that should be run regularly in a production SAP System These jobs are usually jobs that clean up parts of the system, such as by deleting old spool requests.
    Use
As of Release 4.6C, the Job Definition transaction ( sm36 ) provides a list of important standard jobs, which you can schedule, monitor, and edit.
Standard jobs are those background jobs that should be run regularly in a production SAP System. These jobs are usually jobs that clean up parts of the system, such as by deleting old spool requests.
for more information you can go thru the following thread:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/24/b884388b81ea55e10000009b38f842/frameset.htm
    About Events:
Events have meaning only in the background processing system. You can use events only to start background jobs.
Triggering an event notifies the background processing system that a named condition has been reached. The background processing system reacts by starting any jobs that were waiting for the event.
    Types of Events:
There are two types of events:
1.)System events are defined by SAP. These events are triggered automatically when such system changes as the activation of a new operation mode take place.
2.)User events are events that you define yourself. You must trigger these events yourself from ABAP or from external programs. You could, for example, signal the arrival of external data to be read into the SAP system by using an external program to trigger a background processing event. The event scheduler processes an event if the event is defined in the system.
For example, if a system (System 1) receives an event from another system (System 2), the event scheduler of System 1 processes the event only if it is defined in System 1. That event does not need to be defined in System 2 (the sending system).
You define an event by assigning a name (EVENTID) to it. When defining an event, you do not define the event arguments.
for more information you can go thru the following thread:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/fa/096e2a543b11d1898e0000e8322d00/frameset.htm
When you schedule the process chain or infopackages the jobs associated with it run in the background mode. In case you want to create a job for a specific activity you can do so in SM36. You would be creating jobs that would get executed in any one of the options:
    1. Immediate
    2. Date & Time
    3. After event.
    4. After job.
    5. At Operation mode.
In case you want to view the job logs go to sm37.
Also Pls check DB02 for database performance and ST03 for workload .
Analyse u will have an idea ,

  • How to Identify the current step in execution

    Hi,
My merge query takes a long time to run. I monitored the session and it was doing a full table scan and it registered as a long-operation. Now thats finished and it goes off to do whatever else it needs to do.
How do I know whats its executing at any given point in time? I want to know what it scans / writes next and what object its scanning. In other words, I want to know which step of the execution plan is it currently executing.
Is there a way of identifying this? Any V$ views which provide this information?
    Thanks in advance,
    K

Will tracing the session tell me where it is
currently?Tracing the session generates a file on disk with all the various waits in it. Generally, you would analyze that trace file at the end of the process to see where the time was spent. In theory, I suppose that it may be possible to watch that trace file and deduce what step the query was on. It's far from obvious to me, though, that this would be particularly practical-- the trace file grows pretty quickly and isn't particularly trivial to read, particularly in real time.
