How to include a Plugin (dll file) in a program

How would I go about utilizing a plugin in my program. By this I mean...lets say that there is an online program for which you have to install the plugin onto your computer in order to use the program. How could I include that plugin into a program that can be used offline, or placed into an online applet, so that other people dont have to download that plugin.
Basically...I want to know how to put a plugin into my program so that no one else has to download it. Instead they just use the program, which includes the plugin.
And just so you all know, the plugin is a *.dll file. Could I just put it in an online folder, and cal to it when it is needed??
Thanks in advance.

I apologize, but I am confused because I am not that good at this. How would I refer to it? I do not know how to write a java function so that it will call a .dll file. Also, Im not quite sure what to do when I do call it. Here is specifically what I am trying to do. The plugin that I am trying to use is a download plugin. It is used because some people use a program to upload/protect their files, and the only way to download the files is to use the plugin or the program. The thing that I am confused about is how I use the plugin in my program so that the website I want to download from sees that I have the plugin and allows me to download the files I want by using the plugin which I have stored online. Im sure that the website that I am downloading from checks to see if I have the plugin installed, so how do I make it look at the one that I have online and not search for it on my computer??? PLEASE HELP ME!!! i know that people do things like this all the time, but I am new and need a lot of help.

• How to include more than 12 files in a new PDF document?

I have a Adobe PDF Pack, and when I click on crating a new PDF document, they say that I cannot combine more than 12 files...!
And I want to have a document of hundreds of pages!
Someone can help me?
Pleeeeaaase!!!!!!

Hi Hisami,
Thank you very, very much!
It is very useful what you explain.
One only question, since I have the trying version of Acrobat Pro: how many files can you combine at the time with it?
May be it depends on the files size.
I tried yesterday to combine 50 files at the time and it just blocked everything...
Thanks a lot!
Have a very good day.

To combine more than 12 files into a single PDF file:
1. Combine file 1 to file 12 then name it (combined 1 for example)
2. Combine file 13 to file 24 then name it (combined 2 for example)
3. Keep doing those steps #1 and #2 then combine "combined 1, Combine 2.....Combine 12).
Another way is to use Adobe Acrobat. Please download Acrobat XI Pro Trial version from www.adobe.com or you can upgrade your subscription to Acrobat Plus(please see more information about Acrobat Plus subscription at https://www.acrobat.com/acrobatplus/en/home.html?trackingid=JPZKR).
In Acrobat XI Pro:
1. Launch Acrobat
2. Select "File" menu > Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF
3. Click "Add Files" button at top left corner
4. After adding your files click "Combine" button at the bottom of the dialog.
Thank you

• How can we make a .DLL file..???

Hi,
can any one tell me how can we make a .dll file..
can we insert any font file (.ttf), image, icons in in the dll file to call them progrmatically in forms 6i...and use them onu where
like i am currently using d2kwut60.dll file to call mouse cursors that loaded into it..
I would appreciate any response to this issue..??
regards,

Ok,
Let me take this example.
Supposing A vendor with 3 AP open items, B vendor with 2 AP open items.
When making a payment proposal, SAP shows only 2 lines, namely, collected by vendor code.
Looking at DME file, however, it shows 5 lines which means all individual open items.
What we want to make is 2 lines in DME file, which means grouping invoices by vendor in a DME file.
Hope it makse sense.

• How can i call a DLL file from labview?

Iam using a sensoray 2601 module. It is given as DLL file(S2600.DLL).How can i call this function from LabVIEW?
Please Mark the solution as accepted if your problem is solved and donate kudoes

As far as I can tell problems might occur with the call library function node if the the DLL from visual basic is actually an ActiveX dll if that is the case it seems calling the dll by using the Invoke node is the way to go.

• How to cancel reregistering windows .dll files?

How do I undo the following recommended "fix" posted on this Apple website... I was having problems with the ipod shuffle (receiving error 1418), but since resolved that issue by downloading the ipod reset utility.... However, an earlier attempt to correct my problem was made by following the procedure detailed below.. and it's messed up my computer; how do I undo this change??
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304996
iTunes displays -50 error message when syncing iPod on Windows XP
Symptom
When trying to sync iPod, change iPod settings, or restore iPod from within iTunes you may see one of the following error messages:
"The iPod "Customer's iPod" cannot be updated. An unknown error occurred (-50)"
"The disk could not be read from or written to"
"The iPod "Customer's iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1418)
Products affected
iPod (all models)
iTunes 7.x (Windows XP)
Solution
This symptom may be caused by an issue with the digital signing of Windows XP drivers. Following the steps below to reregister several .dll files mentioned below may resolve this issue. Before proceeding however, try to restore the iPod using the latest version of iTunes.. If you are unable to restore it or the symptom reappears, then follow the steps below:
Disconnect the iPod from the computer and close iTunes.
Highlight all of the following 10 lines of text that begin with regsvr32 and then choose Copy from the Edit menu of your web browser:
regsvr32 /s softpub.dll
regsvr32 /s wintrust.dll
regsvr32 /s dssenh.dll
regsvr32 /s rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 /s gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 /s sccbase.dll
regsvr32 /s slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 /s mssip32.dll
regsvr32 /s cryptdlg.dll
regsvr32 /s initpki.dll
Open the Notepad program by navigating to:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad
In Notepad, choose Paste from the Edit menu. Note: make sure that the text that appears in Notepad is the same as what is shown above.
From the File menu, choose Save As.
In the File name: field type appleipod.bat and save the file to the Desktop.
Close Notepad and locate the appleipod.bat file. It should appear on the Desktop with the icon shown below:
Double-click the file and you will see a black window appear on the screen for about a minute. Wait until the window automatically disappears and proceed to the next step.
The appleipod.bat file can be deleted at this time.
Open iTunes and connect the iPod.
When the iPod appears in iTunes, restore the iPod and resync your content.
Note: Because some malware may unregister the .dll files, make sure you have the most recent updates to your anti-virus software and then do a full scan of your files.
ipod shuffle Windows XP error 1418

windows has stopped recognizing microsoft office files... For example, if I try to open a Word document attached to an e-mail, Windows asks me to search the web for a program to use to open it. The way around it right now is to save the document to my hard drive first and then open it using MS Word, but this step was unneccessary in the past. I read somewhere that this could be due to my registry files being corrupted, so I believe the above listed "fix" may be responsible.
Thanks,

• How to read instrument driver dll files

Hello,
How to read .dll files of an instrument driver? What is the programming methodology followed in dll files? I will be grtaeful to you if someone can point me a way to do this.
Thanks,

If you can get your hands on the driver dll sdk or source code, you can use Tools --> Import --> Shared Library (.dll)... and use the wizard to easily generate the code you need to implement it.

• How do I get a .dll file into my labview library

I have an M8784 Photon Counter Unit from Hamamatsu and I want to use
their sample programs or library to interface with a labview program I
wrote to control an electron gun (via a DAQPad) They have a .dll
file which I take as some sort of library I can use to do this but I
have no idea how to incorporate (or even open) that with my labview
program. Any suggestions? I didn't see any .llb files. I have
LabVIEW 7 Express- do you have to have labVIEW professional to do
this? Thanks for your help.

You would use "Call Library Function Node", it is in the advanced palette.
(All versions of LabVIEW 7.0 are named "Express". Do you have base, full, or professional?)

• Developer: How can I let people open files with my program?

Hello Everyone,
I just finished my program for the Mac, and decided to make it an application.
I used Platypus to make my program into an application. Unfortunately when I try to open a file with my program (control + click on file + open with -> other), my application is grayed out and I can't select it. I see it there along with the other applications but I can't select it like I can Mail or TextEdit.
I read somewhere I had to use XCode to let people open files with my program but I have never used XCode and I have no idea how to do that. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick

You've posted in the wrong forum. This is the OS X Leopard Installation and Setup forum. You need to post your problem in the Developers forum. Also, since Platypus is not an Apple product, you should visit it's developers forum for assistance. The Apple Discussions is intended to assist users with problems and questions about Apple products only.
To use XCode Tools you need to install it from the Optional Installs folder on your OS X Installer Disc One. It comes with documentation. More assistance can be found at developer.apple.com.

• How to include external Javascript script files?

We have had a number of students run into problems with our LMS. The support staff at the LMS say that it is due to the version of Java (JRE) that the student is running on their device. The LMS says that they only support Java JRE version 1.6 and 1.7.
I have found some Javascript on the Oracle site that checks the client JRE version, but it requires that the student brings in one of their Javascript script libraries:

I am familiar with the Javascript windows in various Captivate items. I am using Captivate version 7.
My question is how can i include the current deployJava.js script lib from https://www.java.com/js/ (and possibly some other script libs) with all courses that I publish from now on? Is there some template file that I can update so that this script lib is automatically included in all courses that I publish using SCORM 2004 ver. 4?
Thanks

I did this exact thing in my jsp but it did not work, nothing popped up.
When I tried replacing it with:

It worked. Can someone tell me why? Can't i refer to javascript files this way?

• How to include components into mxml file?

I have an mxml file with multiple states and it is getting
quite large. I would like to divide these states into their own
components. How can i include these into the mxml file?
Thanks!

I couldn't be happier that you asked this question and if you
don't mind I'd like to extend on it a touch since it directly
relates to my topic.
I am right with Dr. Goomba (Great name) when it comes to
filesize of a single application.
The flash player has always been a big proponent of small
file size and fast dowloads to ensure our users have a pleasant
experience in our applications. I have been going through the
documentation tirelessly and the only mention I really see as a
supporter of that theory is "RSL" documentation which, believe it
or not, actually advises against them unless you are using them
across multiple apps.
So, my question is a tack on to Dr. Goomba (Answer his first,
this is just a supporter):
Has Flex 2 moved us away from fast delivery? I have an
application already up to 300k that could easily reach the 700k
range (I think, based on my total progress so far) - It doesn't
seem to me that the focus is still on loading things in parts like
the MX 2004 RIA days.

• How to include 500 flv streaming files into html?

Perhaps have all the link along with flv player within same
file. All the links
load the flv in same player.
It could be XML driven and automatically populated. The
easiest to maintain when
comes to so much content.

[edited msg] do i need to add the classpath at execution or something of the apache commons net library?

When you use an executable jar the normal class path
is ignored, but you can put a classpath inside the
jar. The usual trick is to place the library jar
files in a directory inside the application directory
and direct the manifest file to it. The manifest file
live in the jar inside the META-INF directory and
it's called manifest.mf
The two heavilly used entries are Main-class: and
Class-path: lines. Class-path just has a
comma-separated list of library paths.
The jar utility has a special option to load it up.Thanks :) I created a "/lib" directory, placed in the packages in there and redirected the Class-Path: lib/commons-net-1.4.1.jar
and it works,
thank you everyone :)
