How to include citation information into document description

I am a chemistry professor in a small college and have a large number of journal articles as pdf's that I reference in my research.  I'd would like to include fields for the article citation such as:  Journal, Volume, Issue, page, Author 1, Author 2.  I can copy these items in Zotero or Endnote, but it seems logical that they should be imbedded in the document and part of the Document Description and go along if I share the document with a student or collague.
I have Acrobat 6.0 and would upgrade if a newer version of Acrobat would to this.  I would also really like to avoid using "metadata".

Metadata is the logical way to include the information. You could add a text field, possibly making it hidden if desired, that contains the information. The standard form text field is markup and would not print if you selected only the document for printing. You could also add a header or footer that had the citation information. Another option would be to use the text touchup tool and hold the ctrl key as you place the cursor. That will give you a text field that is part of the document that allows you to enter the information. That lists a few items that might meet your need.

    So i created two which fetches only the email addr of  person who created the document.and another view fetches Ship-to-email addr.
    Now i want to include the second view into first view . Is it possible?or please
    tell me someother way to get these email addresses in a single view.

    as per my knowledge, nested views are not possible. However, while creating a new view, selection method will not giv u option to select the already created view(S) except the tables..i think so.

    In addition to providing a framework for simplifying server-side form data validations, Validator provides an easy-to-use mechanism for performing client-side validations.   • ID CS5: How to include additional text into a table of contents and how to hide text from it?

    I have the following problem:
    1. I'd like to include additional Information in my table of contents which I don't want to appear in the text I refer to.
    Example: I do have a picture with a caption saying:
    picture 1: Blablabla.
    And I want to have the source of the picture as additional information in the table of contents:
    picture 1........Blablabla (source: thisandthat)........23
    Still I don't want this additional content to disappear, as soon as I update the table of contents!
    How can I achieve that?
    2. And how can I have this the other way round?
    Let's say I want the source in the caption, but not in the table of contents.
    So the caption says:
    picture1: Blablabla (source: thisandthat)
    but the table of content says:
    picture 1........Blablabla.....................23
    I was trying to achieve this by two different praograph styles in the caption. One which would be listed, and one which wouldn't be listed, but this of course resulted in always having two paragraphs in the caption, which I'd like to avoid:

    Sorry, missed the second part of the question. I think the only way to do that is to use invisible "dummy" text of some sort, and if you're going to do it for some entries, you might as will do it for all.
    One of the easiest ways is to put the text you want inthe TOC into an anchored frame attached to the actual heading in the text (so it moves along with it). Use a unique paragraph style for this text, and include this style, not the one applied to the headings inthe text, to make the TOC. I usually use a character color of red to make it satnd oout so I don't forget it's there, and the position on the page isn't really critical. Select the anchored frame, open the Attributes panel and make it non-printing. You'll see it in editing mode, the TOC will pick it up (as will variables, if required) but it will disappear on output.

    I have a report running in batch mode, and I would like to log the start time and end time for some part of the code (different Function modules). I need to write this log information into the batch job log. Therefore I can check the time frame of my FMs.
    After search the SDN, I can only get some information on how to write log into the application log displayed in SLG1, but that's not I want. I want to write batch log information, and check it in SM37.

    You can make the changes in .muse file and then publish it to the existing site.
    It will automatically detect your old site when you click on File>Publish ONLY if you are using the same Adobe Id to upload the site which you used earlier to upload.
    You can check which Adobe Id you are using by going into Edit>Preferences option and under Publish with Account youwill find the Adobe Id which is being used to upload the site.
    you can change the Id (if required) by clicking on the dropdown and click on Switch accounts.

    Actually, I am not using Recovery Catalog, so the views like RC_database, Rc_tablespaces etc , which are specific to recovery catalog are not available.
    r.- this make sense at 100% because those views belong to the recovery catalog.
    So, I wanted that these information, which we can get via using the commands like above, transfer into an Oracle table
    r.- If you want to access the views of the Recovery Catalog to store part of that information in tables you have to have the database registered in a Recovery Catalog.
    Should we keep the Recovery Catalog in Control file? Instead of using separate Schema.
    r.- I recommend you to create a catalog for your database because the space the controlfile to store information regarding RMAN is reused and you can lose important information about your backups.
    Can we run Catrman.sql script as a sys in order to keep the recovery catalog in sys schema?
    r.- As you know, this is not recommended at all.
    Conclusion : Create a Recovery Catalog and you will be able to perform all that you want regardind what you mentioned above.

    First create separate chains for all 3 local chains and create a meta chain include all this 3 in that
    Meta Chain steps:
    If the chains are dependents on each other then create as below
    Start process -> local chain1>local chain2-->local chain3.
    If the chains are independent loads then
    Start process ---> local chain 1,2,3 place it in parllel.
    Precaution: ensure that you local chains start process should place the maintain process radio button set to "Start using meta chain or API".

For example, if you look at the connection diagram for a PCI-7344, you can see that Forward Limit switches connect to pins 39, 45, 51, and 57. These will then pin out directly to the UMI. For the connection diagram for your particular motion control board, you can go to www.ni.com/manuals and pull up the necessary information. In regards to reading this in LabVIEW, the first thing you will want to check out is Measurement and Automation Explorer. In the interactive windows for your board, you can check the limit switch status there- Press your limit switch on and off and make sure that it changes the LED in MAX. Once that i
    s all set, then you can go into LabVIEW and use the "Read Limit Status" VI which you can find in Functions>>All Functions>>NI Measurements>>Motion>>FlexMotion>>Motion I/O palette. Good luck with your application.

    Go through the FM documentation of BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, this gives some information how to populate the custom fields.
    Table parameter : EXTENSIONIN
    And check the BADI:  MB_BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE which is used to populate the custom fields for the material document.
    I think you also require to implement this badi in your case.
    You also need to extend the tables with the custom fields
