At the time of installation , you can't change SID XE.
After installation, you can add another service name

Use case for describing a web service

Dear all,
I have a fundamental question for describing a web service.
An analyst will first write (1) a use case for describing the web service and (2) wsdl and xsd files for describing the web service.
As a developer, I would say that artifact (2) is enough. As an analyst, I would still need to document the requirement in the format of use case specification. However, it is not clear for me what should be put in this use case specification and what is the added value of such a use case.
Have you any sample example of this kind of use case in order to describe a web service?

From millions of use case I can not find a "good" one.
I have in fact two conceptual questions:
1. I have not much to say about the flow of events. It is simply a request and a response. This is much simpler than a "normal" use case. Am I right?
2. However, I don't know where to put the description of business logic: 2.1 the data sets to be put in the request and response; 2.2 the business logic to construct the response from the request.
I would appreciate any hint or discussion.

Help using CollatorEntry for Repository Framework Web Services

Hi All,
Just wondering what are the pre-requisites needed for my KM repository before I can use the collator functionality in web services such as the findResrouces function from the Repository Framework web service?
Should my repository be setup with an index or something? I've been reading the Javadocs and trying a few things out using the WSDL navigator but I have no idea what values I should be putting in for CollatorEntry object. What "name" values should I be putting which correspond to properties?
Could anyone please provide example inputs to put into the WS Navigator say for the method findResources?

when I input rid: /documents/
CollatorEntries - element1 - name = displayname
ascending = false
I keep getting the error:
Unable to compare: /documents, /documents/.system
hmmm searching SDN doesn't really seem to come up with much information except Collators aren't being used in client applications so they won't be discussed in detail

So I have figured out that I need to be putting in the namespace+localname into this collator entry name field but I have been unable to apply an ascending sort based on the accessRid.
I've found using the findResources operation I am getting back resource objects that are not in a file heiarchal order (ie. nodes further down the file directory are being returned before their parentRids.)
Is there a way for me to ensure that findResources returns a sorted array that starts from the top of the document tree and each resource object returned is in the same order as what I see in KM content browser?
Must be a setting or a property that I am missing, when I do a getOrderMechanism operation I notice it is an unordered type. I can't set server order mechanism as its not supported yet....
Does anyone have any suggestions?

You don't need to uninstall it, but you can drag the old application to the trash when you're sure you're through with it.
I hope you have the full Logic 8 - if you have bought the upgrade from 7 to 8 you would still need the XS key to install it.

It depends on how you installed it. You have to shutdown the MySQL service first. If you used the standard, but obsolete Startup Item, you can do that with the Startup Item. If you created a launchd script, you can do it with launchctl. Once MySQL is no longer running, you can delete the Startup Item or launchd script and the rest of MySQL.

You have 2 solutions:
1 - You can use 2 differents icloud account
2 - You use the same account but you don't sync yours contacts.
You configure that in Settings > icloud
You activate or desactivate what you want.

From what I gather, you have a payment method selected for your iTunes Store account which isn’t being accepted when setting up Family Sharing.
Take a look at the he article linked below provides, which provides a lot of great information about Family Sharing, and make sure you're trying to use a valid payment method for setting up Family Sharing.

One adult in the family—the family organizer—can set up Family Sharing for the group from their iOS device or Mac. When you set up Family Sharing, you'll be asked to confirm that you agree to pay for purchases initiated by the family members you invite and that you have a valid payment method on file. i am expecting a lot of problems during the ias installation, the db is working fine. is posible to install both products over the same machine?

You should be able to iAs and the DB on the same machine but you will need to do the following:
1. Create a new ORACLE_HOME for iAS (unsetenv ORACLE_HOME and setenv ORACLE_HOME to new home)
2. Shutdown the DB in the existing Oracle home and change the corresponding listener port in listener.ora to a port other than the typical default (1521)
3. Install iAS in the new Oracle home
4. Make sure none of the listeners in the listener.ora under the new Oracle home are listening on the same port as that which you set for the existing DB listener.
In general it is advisable to install iAS EE on a different machine than the origin database to realize the full benefits of iCache (EE)

A 2G Shuffle can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time. So if you are trying to connect and use the Shuffle with a new computer/iTunes library, you'll need tor restore it before you can begin syncing or manualy adding content to it from the new library.
So go ahead and restore the iPod and then configure it for manual management. See this article for more details on configuring the shuffle for manual management.

I think you meant 10.6.8, not 10.8.6
It requires an upgrade, instead of a free update.

Both psd and tiff are the two formats to use for your master file. Saving as a jpg will flatten the layers and remove any trace of transparency. Tiff has an option in the save as dialog box to compress the file.
If you find it necessary you could zip older files for archiving.
Once the raw file has been opened in photoshop, it is no longer considered a raw file, as photoshop has no way to save to that file. Which is why you need to save as a psd or tiff.
That said, camera raw dialog box and Lightroom will save its edits to a sidecar file, which is why they are considered to be non-destructive. Since you can delete the side care file and start again. It is the combination. Of the raw file and the side car file that ends up in photoshop. Which is one reason why it is recommended to do as much as you can in camera raw or Lightroom first. But the latest version of photoshop allows your photoshop filets be loaded into camera raw as a filter. So that recommendation is not as important as it once was.
