How to intersect two equations in 3D Grapher (Utilities)?

when I type in two 3D graph equations in Utility Grapher, the "intersection" option is greyed out? Evidently "intersection" only works for 2D graphs? What gives Apple iMac Utility , Grapher?

"Intersection" does not work in 2D or 3D for parametric or implicit curves even if they intersect.
It does not work for surface equations.
Why ? I don't know ! That's it since 2001 for Grapher, it was true also for Curvus Pro X 1.3.2, its ancestor.

Hi one,
open the context help and move the mouse pointer of the XY graph. Then read the help!
Btw. you don't create waveforms, you create XY plots…

You can do this by adding multiple plots to the graph's plots collection and then plotting each matrix on its own plot. The easiest way to add additinal plots to a graph's plots collection is to right-click on the graph in the dialog editor, click on Properties, click on the Plots tab, and then click the Add button to add additional plots.
Now if you have a member variable for the graph in your dialog class (let's call it m_graph for this example), you could do this:

m_graph.Plots.Item(1).PlotXY(/* Your first 10x100 matrix data */);
// Plot the second matrix on a different plot, but same graph

How to add two objects on scene and how to rotate them?

I am beginer on 3d. I am trying do write applet where are 3x3x3 rubic.
My plans are to have 27 litle cubes. There are 6 flats (9 cubes in a flat) so i have six objects groups. My problem at this moment is that i cant find out how to make two objets. Each of this two objects consists from couple more litle objects. Some of litle objects can be in first and second big object. For example it can be two flats of rubic (corner).
Is anybody have some examples or somehow to hepl me to find out.

How to implement a simple node-edge graph?

Can any one give me some advice on how to implement a simple node-edge graph in a frame? Every node is a rectangle which can be moved by mouse, and every edge is a arc between two nodes.
Should the node class extend JPanel, and the edge class extend Graphics? and so on?

It is impossible to generate similar update from OWB.
Does your table1 contain primary key columns? What is the number of rows in this table?
The only working solution in this case - use table1 twice in mapping - as source and as target (with UPDATE operation),
link these operators with primary key columns and specify matching by PK columns.
Updated column link to Constant operator attribute.
In this case OWB generate SQL like
merge table1 a
using table1 b
on (a.pk_column=b.pk_column)
when matched then update set column1=1

I assume that you want to find an x and a y that solves the two equations.
You can solve one equation for y and then substitute what y equals into the second evuation to get a value for x. Then take the x value and sub into an original equation to find the y value.
If you are familiar with linear algebra, you can build an array of the coeficients then use Solve Linear Equations.vi . It is found in LabVIEW Full and Pro.

How to join two open endpoints?
I keep getting this error message even though the endpoints do not have this: "To join, you must select two open endpoints. If they are not the same path, they cannot be on text paths nor inside graphs, and if both of them are grouped, they must be in the same group."
I've ungrouped everything.
I've tried using the pen tool to manually join.
I've moved the endpoint, then tried joining them.
I've tried command+J.
Same message everytime.
And if I use the Pathfinder, I'll get unwanted results (i.e. a new path going right though the art)

While uploading an AI file is unsorted, you may consider at least one option:
One is that you have at least one hidden extra Anchor Point, either on one of the paths or as stray or belonging to a third path.
You may find out by:
1) Using the Direct Selection Tool to click, not drag over, both end Anchor Point and then Cmd+J, and/or
2) Using the Direct Selection Tool to click, not drag over, each end Anchor Point by itself and then move it a bit.

An easy way to tell how to make multi-plot charts and graphs is to hold your mouse over the chart/graph terminal on the block diagram and make sure Context Help (Help >> Show Context Help) is enabled. This screen will tell you how to connect the indicator for a multiple-plot display.
You might want to take a look at my attached screenshots of a working multi-plot chart.

     — Microsoft Office 2011 etc. for Mac use its included Equation Editor.
     — OpenOffice.org (OOo) and NeoOffice : download free Dmath 3.3.
     — iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), download free MathType 6.7, fully functional for 30 days, then becomes « Lite » for life as good as the Microsoft equation editor ; it’s better than using Grapher’s equation editor (Applications > Utilities) because MathType can be called from Pages and allows editing equations by clicking the math expressions your text (details on MathType website) .
     — Graph.app 2.3 in Mountain Lion is built to draw curves and surfaces from equations, so it uses an equation editor less powerful than mathType, but it’s easier typing expressions. You may get 2D 3D geometrical drawings from clever equations. 2) Geometrical schema :
     — GeoGebra is very popular and used by math teachers.

Attachment : lines and curves were made with Google SketchUp 8, screen copied (Command-Shift-4), inserted on a Pages sheet to add letters figures rectangles title.
SketchUp allows drawing precisely an arc of circle 325 mm radius 22,5° angle for instance.

How to combine two datarows (business component data) in BI Publisher

We are using BI Publisher in Siebel Environment.
We have data coming from two business components (like from 2 diff tables)
a) <?for-each:ssTest1?>
b) <?for-each:ssTest2?>
ssTest1 and ssTest2 are the business components
We need to combine these 2 datarows (a&b) and show the data into a single combined data row for ex like <?for-each:ssTest1ssTest2?> and show all the fields in that.
I'm not sure how we can combine these two data rows into a single combined data row and show the data.
Any help from any one would be apprecated.

In the issue above, if you want to show the two other tables in the report, I think you could combine the tables into one datatable joining on key. The link below show an example of a DataSet Helper from Microsoft about combine DataSets. Take note of
the related content for other DataSet Helper examples. And then you could use the datatable in your RDLC.

u need to go for SPLITTING THE MAIN WINDOW !!!
Main windows in page windows allow you to format text in multiple columns. Define an area in the page window, in which to position the main windows.
Here is the procedure !!
-->Create a page window and assign it to a page.
Choose Edit --> Main windows.
A dialog box appears.
-->Enter values in the fields Area width and Area height in accordance with the input guidelines for main windows.
-->Enter values in the fields Spacing and Number in the Horizontal group if you want to use multiple columns. You can ignore the fields in the Vertical group.
Determine how many columns and line areas are required for label printing. Then enter the corresponding values in the fields in the Horizontal and Vertical groups.
-->The value in the field Left margin varies from main window to main window if multiple columns are used. The following applies:

Left margin of current column + Window width + Horizontal spacing = Left margin of next column
In label printing, the field Upper margin also varies from main window to main window:

Upper margin of current main window + Window height + Vertical spacing = Upper margin of next main window
-->Enter a value in the field Start position.
This is a counter. Enter a starting value which is equal to or greater than 1.
-->The main windows are added to the list.

if you call the first redirect, the servlet is getting aborted, so you can redirect to the first servlet, working the stuff in it, and then in the second servlet you can redirect to the third servlet
