How to Kill Links?

Recently, two PDF files, created by Export from Pages have apparently triggered the SPAM filters of large network recipients. The content of these PDF originated with material on web pages, which contained some live links. The links remain live, and clickable in the PDF, as Saved on my Mac.
In one case the recipient found the links to no longer be live. In the other case, I received a failure to deliver the email notice, based upon the message containing a "bad file". Given that PDF are among to most innocuous of file types, I have guessed that it was the links contained that triggered the safeguards. In the first case, I think the AV program in the recipients network "killed" the links. In the latter case, I think rejection was the method of protection.
Is there a quick way to kill the links while composing in Pages? I think I can find secondary ways to kill the links in the PDF, but I would rather do it from the beginning, since PDF exporting produces very efficiently sized files.

I should have noticed before that there is also a "disable all hyperlinks" checkbox at the foot of the link inspector. I am unable to test whether this would apply to imported links, but it does seem to disable the auto generated ones, even if auto detect is still in effect.
On export to PDF, these appear to remain disabled. However, it could be that the recipient files on your network are re-establishing these links: i.e., in a way exactly similar to that by which the auto detection works in Pages. A way to check whether that is the case might be to alter "display" in the link inspector to give these hyperlinks another name. They would still need to be inactivated for export, but might not - under an alias display - trigger recipient files to reactivate them. All completely hypothetical: but if you tried it, you'd have a definite case to present to Apple, through Pages > Provide Pages Feedback.
Of course it may well be that you want to keep these links intelligible; just not active - so that would only help diagnose, not solve, your problem. But it should at least distinguish whether the links are defying inactivation or being reactivated on receipt. If the former, Apple should certainly be told: whilst if the latter you might either need to liaise with recipients or else simply avoid verbatim links: i.e., leave out the "http" or "www" components or whatever it takes to avoid the auto-rejection of your PDFs.
But see what else turns up in the next day or so. It's an obvious vexation that others might have had to deal with more directly than I have.
