How to link accounts using Scripted adapters

When we use any scripted adapter, the script is used to create or update an account, how does the new account created on the resource get linked to the Idm account?
Is the GetUser responsible for creating this link?

You need to code GetUser/AttrParse functionality. When you checkout the view, IDM is performing a getuser/attrparse on the assigned resource. If there's no getuser/attrparse functionality, it will treat the user as if it doesn't exist on the resource.

You require the proper Adobe deployment tools, which are avialable to any volume licensing customers or support program subscribers. There is no way to install Adobe software with just Windows native tools due to the licensing stuff and otehr specific services and configuration.

Hi all,
Finally I solved the issue, the problem was that i haven't add this line in the script logic:
TASK(Execute formulas,USER,%USER%)
But now i need to pass in the script logic as an input: entity and time. Below is the code I prepare, it has no error but it doesn't work. ¿any idea?

I don't know javascript so I can't help with that part.
The system plug in you need is from Actual Technologies : http://www.actualtechnologies.com/ The setup for that is detailed in their instructions. You will probably want to set it up for system-wide access, not by user. I found system-wide access more reliable, fwiw.
For Applescript I send a command through the Terminal/command line that returns the data from the query.
Here is Applescript:
set query to "YOUR DB QUERY"
set results to (do shell script "echo \"" & query & "\" | iodbctest \"dsn=" & dsn & ";uid=" & uid & ";pwd=" & pwd & "\" | awk '{ if (match($0,\"SQL>\")) {k++; if (k==1) next; if (k==2) exit; } if (k==1) print; }'")
You can probably do something similar in Javascript. You'll have to parse out the text data returned then. I think there may be plug-ins for InDesign that can directly connect to a database (?). Or some plug-ins like inData can take their data passed from a script as well.

When I enter asset no. in my ANEK table, po no(ebeln) and po item(ebelp) field is blank.

Hi Rachel,
Your message is a little bit confusing. There is no link between the asset and material number. If you want to post your purchase order, using account assignment F - that is internal order - you may do it. Futher, you can settle the postings from this order to asset.

Yes, I buy the MacBook Pro new with Lion installed.
I have already followed the steps described in the section "Recovery system" of your link. (command-R, ...). But when I want to reinstall, they ask me to login with the account used to buy Lion (which I didn't bought since it was already installed)...
So, I'm stuck there :/

Here is the scenario
I Have many administrator user in my Security access
all of this user have the power to add and process accounts and fill up all the specified properties
my problem is i want them to add new accounts using excel outside admin console
how can i link this excel through excel of the account dimension in the admin console

Hello,
From your question it is not clear whether you are using SD module or not.
Nowhere in SAP you can directly do this. However, you will have various options to link to a gl account in VKOA.
Chart of Accounts, Customer Account Assignment Group, Material Account Assignment Group and a key combination you can maintain this.
