Can i make Live Audio/Video application between 2 users

Hello,
I am new to FLASH and FLEX.
I want to know if i can make a Live Audio/Video application(
using Microphone and Camera) for a website by using FMS. If yes
then should i use FMSS or FMIS. I will be using FLEX Buidler IDE .
Any one who has made this type of application or link to a
tutorial.
What i would like to make is like an application of Webcam
with 2 users can see/view each other and also talk on web site. And
alos how can i embed this application in java(EE) project.
I would be very thankful if you people can guide me in this
problem.

Yes you can make a Live A/V app with FMS! that is exactly
what it was designed for. You would need FMIS as that is the
interactive version that enables live capabilities.

How to make CompactRIO truly standalone?

Hi,
I am new to cRIO and I am using it for motion control. What do we need to do to make cRIO run as a standalone system? That is, my motion control system can run with just the cRIO (or perhaps together with an extra external control panel for monitoring) connected. This is because I find that I need the the computer to run the host vi to control my system; how do I program my fpga vi or host vi to achieve such a function?
I am quite lost in this part, so many thanks in advance.

Your previous post has been very useful. However, I still have some problems building my standalone application. I just need some hints to get started.
For example:
a.) Under the "Tools>>Build Application or Shared Library>>Source Files" , do I use my HOST VIs(as top level VI) or FPGA VIs(as dynamic VI)?
b.) Do I need to make any modifications to my program which uses the PC to run the host VI before it is downloaded to my cRIO-9101?
c.) Are there any example codes or application on building standalone applications available? I have searched NI.com but could not find relevant ones.
I am currently using LabVIEW 7.1 with FPGA module 1.1, NI-RIO and Real-Time Module (ETS) installed. I have cRIO-9125, 9263 and 9411. attached are some programs i experimented with - programs speaks a thousand words.

How to create datasource for standalone application using JPA

In the persistence.xml configuration file, we have data source got it from web server configuration file, and created by server like Jboss or tomcat.
I just wonder how to create this same data source via Java stand-alone application?
I have Java standalone application embedded Jetty server running with JPA module. Question is how to setup or create data source from my Java application just like web server; which called by persistence.xml?

Sharepoint deployment is completely different. I don't think you can deploy any solution as wizard in prod so you have to first identify what you want to deploy.
If you just want to deploy only web application then backup/restore process is available in sharepoint. you can use STSADM or powershell to deploy your web app.

If there is any custom code or .NET code then create a WSP package and deploy it on prod. If you have multiple WSP's then create a batch file (as exe package) then run this package on prod.

How to make a small finance application in oracle?

I am an oracle dba but one of my friend's asked me to make a small finance application for his company which can use small calculation/accounts. I know plsql and some understanding for Forms etc . where should i start? please note that logical design of database is done. Making database and tables etc is not issue for me. The issue is how to design front end and what tools to use?
An other query is. if he can use this application free on oracle or he has to buy some licence from oracle. please note that he is running a very samll charity organization?

You would need to write self modifying code to stop the installer from functioning after its first successful run. Other than that, Java has good cryptography support, and you can make your app writes out the birthday of the time bomb alone with a signature to avoid tempering.

sorry I didn't check that, I can now run the jar command.
But even though I can create a .jar file I get an error. I have followed the guide that says I need to add the applications Entry point.
I have two classes:
saveDates.class //contains the main method
UserInput.claa // Parsing of user input
When I create the jar file I type:
jar cfe saveDates.jar SaveDates SaveDates.class UserInput.class
But when I try to run it like:
java -jar saveDates.jar
I get the error:
C:\workspace\dato>java -jar saveDates.jar
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: SaveDates$1
at SaveDates.main(SaveDates.java:89)
C:\workspace\dato>
Do I need to change the main method someway?
