  • How to manage physical sample in SAP?

    Hi,
How to manage physical sample in SAP?
    Regards
    Ashish Jain

    Hi
Physical sample is to keep the sample of a product till its shelf life expiry date. E.g. In case of any shelf life applicable product, the inspected sample will be retained till its expiry date. If any customer complaints are received, on inspecting the complaint, result may be compared with the existing physical sample.
In SAP, Material master should have inspection type 15.
To create physical sample, sample drawing procedure has to be created and attached to the header of inspection plan. With this set up when the lot is created, physical sample will also be created. Result recording should be done for physical sample. Physical sample storage information has to be updated through transaction code QPR2

    Thanks
    Ricky

    Hello Sir
No update ... Still finding the solution .
I got this from the document which you sent me in this forum but didn't get that how to work on this
    Please advise me
    Country-Specific Fields: India
Select this checkbox in the case of interstate inventory transfer. By default this checkbox is not selected.
Once an inventory transfer is flagged as VAT, you will find the Transaction Category field and the Form No. field in the inventory transfer document.
    Note
If the inventory transfer happens during the course of interstate sales, it is required, as per State Level VAT rules, that input credit of tax be restricted. Credit is allowable only to the extent of tax paid on inputs in excess of 4%.
You need to scroll back to Inventory Transfer to create a JE. The Journal Entry window opens with the filled data on right-click and for posting a reversal of VAT.
If a JE has been created, then you can see the JE by right-clicking and choosing Show VAT JE.

  • How to release the budget in SAP Funds Management

    Hi
How to release the budget in SAP Funds Management. Please let me know the proceedure and the transaction code
    Tks

    Hi,
The answer depends on if you are using Former Budgeting or BCS.
    1) If you are using Former Budgeting:
    a. You should use transaction FR51 to enter Release or FR55 to distribute it.
    2) If you are using BCS:
    a. Within FMBBC transaction you have the option to release the budget, use document type as REL (release).
    b. You can activate the automatic release for each budget profile in Customizing of Funds Management Government.   To do this, in IMG select Funds Management Government ® Budgeting and Availability Control (Former Budgeting) ® Budget Profiles (Former Budgeting) ® Set Up Budget Profiles.
With the automatic release, the corresponding background releases for expenditures FM account assignments with budget transfers are also posted. Take note that the maximum amount that this automated release can transfer from the sender is the amount that has already been released.
If you do not activate the automated release, the maximum amount that can be transferred from the sender is that which has not yet been released.
    c. You can use the mass transaction for release, which is FMMPRELE.
I hope that this answer your inquiry.
    Best Regards,
    Vanessa Barth.

  • How to manage pulp and paper  processing through SAP

    Hi...
please let me know how to manage pulp and paper  processing through SAP-PP in details......
or please provide sum links where i can get the solution....
    regards,

    Hi Ema,
you need to ensure in your BAdi implementation that the records do not overlap. Ideally (for performance reasons) you also keep the number of records in RPM_BUPA_AVL low
i.e. one record for 01.Jan to 05 Jan with 8 hours is better compared to 5 records with 8 hours each.

    2LIS_03_BX- Initial Stock/Material stock
    2LIS_03_BF - Material movements
2LIS_03_UM - Revaluations/Find the price of the stock
The first DataSource (2LIS_03_BX) is used to extract an opening stock balance on a
detailed level (material, plant, storage location and so on). At this moment, the opening
stock is the operative stock in the source system. "At this moment" is the point in time at
which the statistical setup ran for DataSource 2LIS_03_BX. (This is because no
documents are to be posted during this run and so the stock does not change during this
run, as we will see below). It is not possible to choose a key date freely.
The second DataSource (2LIS_03_BF) is used to extract the material movements into
the BW system. This DataSource provides the data as material documents (MCMSEG
    structure).
The third of the above DataSources (2LIS_03_UM) contains data from valuated
revaluations in Financial Accounting (document BSEG). This data is required to update
valuated stock changes for the calculated stock balance in the BW. This information is
not required in many situations as it is often only the quantities that are of importance.
This DataSource only describes financial accounting processes, not logistical ones. In
other words, only the stock value is changed here, no changes are made to the
quantities. Everything that is subsequently mentioned here about the upload sequence
and compression regarding DataSource 2LIS_03_BF also applies to this DataSource.
This means a detailed description is not required for the revaluation DataSource.

  • Financial newby: Combining SAP SRM and ERP Financial Accounting

    Hello,
Looking for an Invoice Management System expert. I would like to know the following two things.
    1. On posting an 'incomming invoice' (with reference to a PO) in SRM this Invoice will be replicated to the R/3 back-end system. The back-end will and should use this invoice to follow-up the financial administrative process, how do they go about on this. The purchase order and Invoice will be posted to f.e. G/L 'Sources, with tax 19%'. What transaction do financial administrators use to book/post bank/liquid asset changes against these invoices?
    2. Up on creating a credit memo, for example for 1 of the 2 line items that wern't delivered but where initially invoiced, do we need to create a Credit Memo in SRM with negative amounts or does the Credit Memo with positive amounts suffice. It will always be used as credit, positive doesn't mean it's debit? (I think credit memo's in SRM work almost the same as Credit Memo's in R/3)
    Kind regards,
    Tim

    Dear all,
I answer my request, as nobody is talking about this subject.
    I passed the CO certification
SAP Certified Application Associate - Management Accounting (CO) with SAP ERP 6.0 EhP6
and succeed without having SAP training, i've 4 years of SAP FICO experiences and 1 year of auditing, accounting experience.
All i've to say is to read and study many times  SAP documentation but be carreful as CO change with planning in the new ledgers and CO report, take the most updated training documentation.
My advice is to work hardly every day, even with the help of SAP training , you've to work hard, the training is just making it easy for you.
    Good luck.

  • How to manage the payment approver users?

    Hello community,
I would like to understand more on the payment approval process in SAP Business ByDesign. Despite it is quite easy to find the payment approval process in the help center, it is really hard to find how to manage to whom the payment approval request is sent. How can a system administrator can decide which users have the faculty to approve payments? How to change/update the list of approver users?
Of course I have the rights to manage all users by assigning them business roles and access rights. I have access to all workcenters.
Thank you in advance for your help.
    Luca

    Hi Luca,
You can define threshold amounts for payment approvals depending on company, payment method, and user. No task will be created if the amount of the outgoing payment is below the specified threshold.
You can define this threshold for both incoming and outgoing payments on the Fine-Tune task Business Task Management for Payment and Liquidity Management
After maintaining a threshold amount to trigger the approval process, you can define who is the approver via Application and User Management work center, Employee Work Distribution view. In the Finance and Administration group, define the approvers within Approver for Liquidity Management.
The approval task is then sent to all approvers that you've maintained. If the task is completed for one of them, the payment gets approved. If there is no approver maintained, the task is sent to all authorized managers.
Please, mark my reply as answered or helpful if this answers your question.
Additionally, I'd also suggest you to post financial related questions on the Financial Management forum (http://scn.sap.com/community/bydesignbc/fm), which would have a greater visibility from our financial experts team.
    Thanks a lot.
    Best Regards,
    Alexandre.

  • How to delete a user in SAP-CPS Version 7.0

    Hello,
I created my users via UME ( User Management Engine of Java Application server). Unfortunately I used the wrong name convention, so I had to recreate all the users in UME. Afterwards I delete all wrong users in UME.
Than I tried to login with my new user in SAP-CPS (users are normally created in SAP-CPS during first login) but I get the error message that I reached the maximum number of 10 users allowed in the basic version. No problem I thougt, I simply delete the wrong ones in SAP-CPS. But I do not know how to delete a user! I could not find any menu item or any describtion in the manualls how to delete an user in SAP-CPS.
I remove the users from any Isolation group, I disabled all the users but still I could not find any way to delete them.
Has any body a hint for mor.
    Kind regards
    Frank Morleo

    Hello Anton,
deactivating the unused users made it possible to login with the new ones.
    Thanks for your help.
Now I have to find out how to clear the deactivated users from the list.

  • How to track the Distributor in SAP

    Hi all
One of our client has a particular requirement, let me explain....
Let's  say my client sold  100 qty. to the Distributor, again the distributor lets say have  five Sub-Distributor and suppose to distribute the  100 Qty. among  the five Sub-Distributor in particular proportion  advise by my client as per the distributorship agreement.
Now the distributor is sending  a report in Excel Sheet that they have distributed the 100 Qty. as  advised by my client.
BUT  my  client  wants first of all  to  ensure that the distributor has  distributed the 100 Qty properly also wants to cross check it from  Sub-Distributors.
    Please Suggest
How to map this scenario in SAP
    Thanks
    Ashok

As per my understanding the physical movement of stock is from your client to Distributor. It is in the control of Distributor of distribution  to sub-distributor (physical movement of stock from Distributor to sub-distributor and not from client to sub-distributor). If the understanding is correct, Consignment scenario will not meet the objective.
In such cases, ideally the distributor should have SAP system, in which he carries out relevant transaction and the visibility of the same should be available to the client. It actually works in a manner such that the control will be with the client. There will be dummy company code. All Distributors will be mapped as Sales Organization & through authorization will have access to only their Sales Organization. Financial transactions are overlooked as they are at company code level, but inventory visibility can be controlled in such a manner. The reason the clients are not ready to invest in such projects is that it is a cost to them from licencing point of view and Distributors are not religious to carry out the activities in the system due to lack of interest or staffing reason.

  • HOW TO BRING THE DEPOSITS IN SAP

How do we bring the depostis in SAP from legacy system. If we create a customer migration g/l account, it will debit the migration g/l account and credit the customer. but can we use the same g/l migration account to bring in the open balances of customers. i think not because we don't want to use that migration g/l account for customer open balances because we will be blocking this g/l account.
how are the deposits brought into sap from legacy system. can anyone please explain this in detail.
    Thanks

As per my understanding the physical movement of stock is from your client to Distributor.
