i have one internal table which had 1 field and the data in that field are like an header data and the other internal table with many field which have many different data like an item data .
now i want to combine header data as an FIELD into new internal table and item data as an item into corresponding fields of that header .
i want in alv output format .
how can i do this ?
example:
IT1 has field called as place . data will be many place names
in IT2 iteam data i am having corresponding to that place names.
i want to show like this below .

I know how to deny an app my Location - its really annoying because i will not be using any apps and my location arrow goes on. Then - i deny all of the apps individually - still the arrow is there. It only goes away if i turn off all of my Location services globally which tells me someone is checking my location. I realize that apple needs to collect map data to compete with google so thats probably what's going on. Its either that or your security isn't working very well. In either case Apple is screwing up and either invading my privacy or allowing others to do so. I did not like when you turned the arrow notification off by default in one of the ios updates. Sneaky stuff guys - knock it off.

How to use Reference type of Data Element

Hi guys, is there anyone could give me a trace how to use reference type of data element.
More details i'm going to reach is:
I create 2 tables:
eq.
1. table ZFIRST has field X with data element ZFX (Data element i declared).
2. table ZSECOND has field Y.
Here at field Y (second table) I'm going to declare a new data element say it ZFY, but in ZFY I'm going to use the data element as i declared before (ZFX). Is it possible if I do it using reference type data element (SE11)?
I already did this way, but I got error :
Field Y: Reference ZFX to class w/o interface cannot be used in DB table ZSECOND
What does it mean?. Did I miss something about using reference data element type?.
This error occurs when I activate ZSECOND table. However in creating ZFY (reference) to data element ZFX, there is no error occur.
The point is I need to RE-declared existing data element and ot put existing data element(ZFX) to my current table (ZSECOND).
Any helpful will be highly appreciated.

What does it mean?. Did I miss something about using reference data element type?.
Apparently system doesn't allow you to type a transparent table field with deep type. This refers to references and tables types as components. The RDBMS (Relational DB Management System) cannot interpret this componenets correclty and mapp them to TABLEs in DB.
So I am affraid you won't be able to type table component with reference to other data element.
The point is I need to RE-declared existing data element and ot put existing data element(ZFX) to my current table (ZSECOND).
Sorry but I don't get it, could you please explain this more clearly. Maybe then we can think of some workaround for you.

External definitions enable you to import WSDL, XSD, and DTD documents to the Integration Repository so that you can access the message definitions they contain as external messages.
If a description of the message structure already exists in one of the above formats, you can use it in the Integration Repository by importing it as an external definition rather than re-entering it manually using the data type editor.

The document to be imported must conform to the WSDL, XSD, or DTD standard.

How to transfer BLOB type of data from SQL Server to Oracle

Actually, I create a table with BLOB type data in SQL server. In fact, there is not exact BLOB type in SQL server, it will be separated to image and ntext types. But there is exact BLOB type in Oracle.
I don't know how to transfer this "BLOB" type into Oracle with DTS or any other methods.

The fact that Excel can import a csv file doesn't make it an excel file.
If you have a csv file then you must use a csv driver or just use other code (not jdbc) to access it. There is, normally, a ODBC (nothing to do with java) text driver that can do that.

Theory - Best way to store this type of data for retrieval?

So I'm pretty new to databases and I'm trying to figure out an efficient way to retrieve this kind of data:
an ID that is 36 digits long
col1 = {option1, option2, option3...}
col2 = {option1, option2, option3...}
coln = {option1, option2, option3...}
I need to be able to perform queries on the data based on some concatenation of 3 digit sequences for the ID
for example, I may want to retrieve all the records where the ID begins with '123' or where the ID begins with '123123', or '123123200', etc,
There are going to be close to a billion if not more of these records
the 3 digit sequences will always be a number between 000-255
It is not necessary for me to have a 36 digit long ID, I simply chose that because it seemed like the simplest way to associate a record with its combination of 3 digit sequences.
Like I said, I'm very new to databases. I've been doing a lot of reading on indexing and clustering and nested tables and partitions, but I'm not quite sure which of these I should pursue with this kind of data. Most of the examples that I've read about don't really deal about querying with variable precision.
Would the best way to get this data simply be to use an 'is like' statement on the ID? If so, are there any kinds of indexing I should take a look at that would benefit from knowing that the is like statements would follow the format of <3 digits,3 digits,3 digits>? Also, at the data level, would it be more efficient to use hexadecimal to store the sequences of 3 digits since they conviently fall in the range of 00-FF? I'm just throwing ideas out there, I haven't found much help browsing the web, but maybe I haven't looked in the right place. If anyone has any ideas or places to redirect me, it would be great!
Also, I know sometimes it helps to know the main kind of queries on the data that someone is primarily concerned about. In this case, most queries will be selective counts, for example finding the number of records whose ID's begin with '123006011' and col1='option1'.

So I'm starting to rewrite my code. I was shocked at how easy it was to implement the SAX parser, but it works great. Now I'm on to doing away with my nasty string arrays.
Of course, the basic layout of the XML is like this:

I thought about storing each element/value in a HashMap for each result. This works great for a single result. But what if I have 1000 results? Do I store 1000 HashMaps in an ArrayList (if that's even possible)? Is there a way to define an array of HashMaps?

I'm new to java so I would like a hint from experts on how to create such a form :
A form that displays Customer's Codes and their name from Oracle database , so that they appear in the form as a list of 2 columns , what kind of compnents I should use to display this kind of data ? JTextField ? I dont think so .... . And also I would like to highlight each other line so that the list looks good , then at the top of the list I want a filter so that the data is filtered each time I enter a character . The last thing is how to make the data displayed have the ability to be dragged to another form in the application so that it fills the corresponding fields relative to the data dragged ?
Too much ha? . Please just provide hints/ideas about each point as I know it can be time consuming to give details about all this.

It doesn't look like you are getting a runtime error. Is it possible your query is returning no rows?
If you are sure your query should be returning rows, you probably need to check if DBMS_OUTPUT is enabled in SQL Developer (View menu I think).my query is returning a row

I finally my Intuos tablet and I been trying to make this type of lettering, but I haven't had no luck. I been messing with the settings of the "Calligraphic" brushes and nothing. If someone out there knows how to achieve this and is willing to share the knowledge I'd be very helpful and I'd appreciate it it very much!

I'm afraid your expectations may be a bit unrealistic. That's not going to automatically happen by merely stroking away with a stylus using a Calligraphic Brush.
Whether you're using a stylus or a mouse for your input device, that kind of text design is drawn deliberately and carefully with the Pen tool, creating paths along the edges of the glyphs.
You
might achieve a rough sketch as a starting point, but even then it would be better (and most probably easier) done by drawing centerline paths with the Pen and applying the Calligraphic Brush to those paths. Better still, start with a pencil sketch, scan it, and just start tracing that with the Pen. Tracing text is excellent practice for learning to use the Pen.

when i am running this query i am getting this value: 01/01/1900 23:59:00
and this value i am inserting in one variable which has date datatype.
here i am storing like this:
v_nshiftmax := to_char(date '1900-01-01' + 1439/(24*60),'DD/MM/YYYY HH24:MI:SS');
while storing getting error: not a valid month
how to store it in this variable?

How to send different type of data

I am trying to send different types of data between client and server.
For example, from server to client, I need to send some String data, using PrintWriter.println(String n); and send some other stuff using OutputStream.write(byte[] b, int x, int y). What I did is setting up a socket, then send them one by one. But it didn't work.
I am just wondering if there is anything I need to do right after I finished sending the String data and before I start sending other stuff using OutputStream. (Because if I only send one of them, then it works; but when I send them together, then the error always happened to the second one no matter I use PrintWriter first or the OutputStream first)

2. In the main method, you don't change the args array in no way, and then invoke main(args);, that is, do the same things, leave args as it is, and then re-invoke the method, and so on, without anything breaking this chain. of course, it will never end.

The reason to create instances is because they hold state. The satte of an instance of your class might be the file it's responsible for or how big a buffer it has or something. Resist the temptation to make everything static for now unless you have pure function-like behavior, as the Math class does.
