How to post return stock to unrestricted stock for only Plant & Material Type combination?

Hello Everyone,
At present, whenever the stock is returned then it posted through 655 movement type. So, material is posted as quality stock.
Now, the requirement is to post the stock to unrestricted stock for Plant and Material type combination only. Which means, if the plant is 1413 and the material type is ERSA, VERP, and HIBE then for return sales order system post the stock directly to unrestricted stock, instead of quality stock.
So, is there any standard way of configuring the above scenario without going for validation (Z Fields)?

Dear Mohammed ,
as per your scenario , there is two movement type has to trigger in the Delivery level according to the plant and material combination .
as per my knowledge it will not configurable in standard process . this will possible with user exit logic only .
follow the below logic to achieve your issue .
you have to create two item categories and two schedule lines with (655 &653) , that means your movement type has to trigger at sales order level only . write a logic in the user exit - MV45AFZZ -USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP , if this combination matches then automatically item category has to over write other wise it will copy the existing item category .at delivery level you can see two movement types in item level.
wait for other experts solution , if any standard is possible or not .

If u want to post the stock to ur own location for future use u can use
MB1B transaction and with movement type 453 you can post it

Posting from qm stock to unrestricted stock ........URGENT HELP NEEDED

User created a Purchase order and posted it to qm stock.The inspection lot is created for the Purchase order with these status CRTD, REQ,CHCR,SPRQ. How do I post the stock from QM stock to unrestricted stock.
in QE51N also it gives me an error saying "no selected entries found "
I tried to change the usage decision in tcode:qa32 or qa12 but it is giving me an error not and letting me change it.
So my question is how do i post the stock to unrestricted stock .Please can someone explain with detailed steps.

Check the following points
1. Check if inspection plan is assinged to inspection lot, if inspection plan is not assinged. Assign inspection plan to material and go to qa02 & calculate sample size.
2. Check if more than one inspection plan asssinged to material , it mutiple inspection plan assinged to material , you need to manuallly assign the inspection plan to inspection lot and calculate sample size.

Posting Zero Value to Unrestricted Stock

Hi Gurus,
I'm having some trouble posting zero value materials to unrestricted stock. Is there any restrictions on doing this? if so, are there any work arounds?
I've tried marking an item in the PO as "free goods" but when I do the G/R, the items are not showing in stock.
Also, I seem to be having some problems with the material type classification UNBW.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
If you use UNBW material for free items PO, then it will ask for account assignment and once you do GR the stock will be posted to respective account.
You can not see the stock in unrestricted stock.
You can create the material of material type FERT with zero value and you can raise PO with free items checked.Once you receive the goods, Quantity will be updated in unrestricted stock and value will be zero.

Posting of QI stock into Unrestricted stock (URGENT)

At the moment, we are posting QI stock into Unrestricted stock using MB1B with Mvt type 321. But the problem is we have to enter each material & qty manually, i,e, if a PO has 10 lines, i have to manually enter each material in the PO & then the qty. Is there any other transaction or way in which i can do this transfer posting with reference to the PO, thereby the system automatically puts the lines in that PO & i can then delete the material or modify the qty if it has not passed QI check.
I tried in MB1B with Mvt 321 by creating with reference to PO, the system prompts an error & says not possible.
Hope my problem is clear, await inputs.

As mentioned by you i have done the settings.
1. If i enter the mvt. type 321 in MB1B & then click on create w/ ref to PO, i still get an error.
2. But if i just enter the mvt 321 & enter inside MB1B, there i now see a field called Purchase order. But if i enter the purchase oder number here, the materials inside this PO are not automatically displayed, the screen just becomes grey.
What i actually want is, when i enter the PO number, the materials should be displayed, which would resolve my issue.

Bapi to move Quality inspection stock to unrestricted stock

Hi All,
I am developing a report where the material batches should be distributed to other storage locations within a plant (as we do it in MB1B with movement type 311).But if that material is in QI stock( inspection lots) then that should be forcibly moved to unrestricted stock.Is there any BAPI available to mimick QA11 and force the material from QI stock to unrestricted stock.

The requirement is to mimick the transaction QA11.I am all ready using the BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to post the goods from unrestricted stock.But,to move the stock under QI inspection I have to first move it to unrestricted stock and then post it.Is there any other BAPI available for mimicking the transaction QA11.

I have a scenario wherein I need to take care of "Movement from Blocked Stock to Unrestricted Stock using Movement type 343 and in the next step need to do Material to Material transfer using movement type 309"
My Query is:
1. What does it mean when we say Movment from Blocked stock to Unrestricted stock ?
2. What does it mean when we say Material to Material transfer ?
Please help me with pointers on finding a BAPI to do the above stock movements or material to material transfer.

After PO when the stock is posted to storage location the stock is posted to restricted stock by default, where batch management and classification is involved. I want to know why the stock is posted in restricted stock or at least I want to know to convert restricted stock to unrestricted stock.

If you want to change the batch status from restricred to unresticted use you can do in MSC2N
If you want to change the configuration to select Unresticted use goto
SPRO > Logistic general > Batch management > Batch status management > Activate Batch Status Checking in Warehouse Management.

Blocked stock to unrestricted stock in wm

Dear all,
i want to move the stock from blocked stock to unrestricted stock in WM.our issue is there is no stock availability of Blocked stock in IM.
Is there any manual transfer available in wm for the same. what could be possibilty for the above issue.i.e stocks available in wm not in IM.

A)have you already done the transfer posting in IM? otherwise where is the stock in IM and why it is available in WM?
b) If you have already done in IM try to find the mat. doc?In the mat.doc you see in the WM View posting change number,enter the posting change number in LT05 !
If not solved pls check LS 26,let me know the Stock status...

Report for material moved from blocked stock to unrestricted stock

Is there a standard report in WM showing list and qty of materials moved from blocked stock to unrestricted stock.

It would have been easy if there was a specific WM movement type for such transfer but due to the reason that the WM 309 is connected to various IM movement types, there is no direct report to get this information.
Conversely, you may use MB51 with the combination of the WM managed storage location and movement type for your purpose. If there are multiple storage locations assinged to the same warehouse then you may put a range in the selection criteria.

if you created the PO, then you need to do the Goods Recipt against the Purchase order document i.e from t-code MIGO movemnt type 101.

How to Handle Returns of Vendor Consigned Stock Issued via Delivery ?

Hi.
I am currently able to issue Vendor Consigned Stock via Delivery. I use Lean Warehouse Management, and I have implemented Stock Determination Rule to take Vendor Consigned Stock and Unrestricted own stock in account during Issue. I am even able to insert the correct Vendor Number during the confirmation of the Transfer Order. When I generate the Goods Issue of the Delivery Order, I get an accounting document that affects both the Account Payable Liability and a Consumption Account.
Now My Question is this :
How do I handle Customer Complaints that lead to a Return of the Goods, back into Vendor Consigned Stock ? The goods that is returned, needs to be taken back into Vendor-Consigned Status, and a appropriate Accounting Document needs to be generated to reverse out the Acct Payable Liability and Consumption Account entries.
Do I use a Returns 'RE' Sales Order to bring back the Stock ? I need to be able to create a Return Delivery that will immediately post the returned Stock back into Vendor Consigned Status. So where and how can I key in the vendor number in the Return delivery, keeping in mind Return Delivery in Standard SAP does not use Warehouse Management ?

I think you can try the following:
1. Define a new schedule line category - here you can define the movement type and the item category (as given in a Purchase Info Record). - Transaction VOV6
2. Define a new sales order type for returns. - Transaction VOV8
3. Define a new item category for the returns document, - you can mention the special stock type here too
4. Carry out the sales order to item category and item category to schedule line category assignments.
I am not sure if the system will prompt you to provide the vendor number or how does it populate the vendor no. while posting the material doc. However you can try this out and check if this solves your issue.

How to issue parts from our Unrestricted stock to Vendor QI stock (Subcont)

In subcontrating process , I wanted to transfer material from my unrestricted stock to Vendor QI stock where subcontrator will test the quality of the material and only if it gets approved it will be used for process otherwise will be returned back to us.
For this I wanted to transfer my stock in QI stock of Subcontrator, how can I do that ?
Similary is there any way to Transfer material back from Subcontrator Blocked stock to my unrestricted / Blocked Stock.

Blocked stock at a subcontractor is not possible. The table containing the stock at a vendor is MSLB, and this table just does not have a field for blocked stock.
if you use batch management, then you can have restricted stock.

if you have quality management active then you have to mainttain quality view in material master along with the inspection lot settings. now this will result in quality lot creation at the time of GRN. then you have to execute QA32 and get the lot. make usage decision and there you will find tab with lot quantity. there you have to give qty in unrestricted and save it.
if you dont have it then just do the transfer postingeither through MIGO or MB1B with movement type 321. give the mat. plant str loc. qty and save it.
