How to priortize rule execution

How to prioritize the evaluation of rules in my rulebase.
Consider my rulebase contains 10 rules
rule 2
rule 1
rule 4
rule 5
and so on upto rule 10
Now say rule 1 and rule 2 are interconencted.
however rule 4,5..10 are not.
Now i want the Rule 4 to 5 to evaluate first and then move to rule 1 to rule 3..
how can I achieve this?
Is there any mechanism by which I can assign priorities for evaluation..

100% Agreed. Use of rule priority as any form of substitute for fully expressing the logic within the policy/rule would be considered poor practice. There are very limited uses for rule priority that are documented, but use of them to force evaluation order in lieu of fully expressing the conditions is not one of them. The recommended approach is to fully express all conditions and rely on the logical dependence between rules to "prioritize" the evaluation of them.

How to use rule and send the same email to multiple recipents

Hi,
My requirement is to send the workitem to the multiple recipents. one of my reiend suggest me to use the rule but i don't know how to use that .
can any one of you suggest me how to use rule in workflow.
Also i want to send the same email to multiple recipent .how can i do it by using the multiline variable...please advice me with example if possible..
Note :- Is it necessary to saparate the email id with comma or i will add all the email next one another..

How to create Rules with Flex Field mapping in the bpm worklist

I Have created a flex field label and was able to map to the flex field attributes .
But when i try to create a rules , I don't see the label or the flex attributes in the task payload .
Can someone please help is understanding how to create Rules with Flex Field mapping in the bpm worklist .
Even I am also searching for any scripts which will take the flex fields prompts and can directly create a label in the bpm worklist .

Hi,
SE38 -> Enter program
Select Variants button and display. In the next screen, enter a variant name, (If not existing , press Create to create new one), else click on Change.
Now the selection screen will display with a button "Variant Attributes" at the top.
Click on that button.
In the next screen, go to the selection variable column of the date field. Press F4 or drop down and select 'D' for date maintenance.
In the column "Name of Variable (Input Only Using F4)" press F4 or drop down, select whichever kind of date calculation you want and save the variant.
Now whenever you run the prgrm with this variant, date will be displayed by default.

ADF BC, how implements business rules?

I am new in oracles technology. Please help me understand how implements business rules.
For example: I have two tables operation(id,code) and operation_item(id, operation_id, code). I create entities objects for it: OperationEntity, OperationItemEntity and association: OperationItemToOperation. Then create entity-based view object OperationById which have bind parameter id for find operation by id. I also create entity-based view object OperationItem and view link OperationItemToOperationLink.
My ApplicationModule contains OperationById and OperationItem via OperationItemToOperationLink
I want implements "clone" method at OperationById view for current row. This method create copy selected row from operation table and copy all rows from operation_item table where operation_item.operation_id = operation.id.
I add method createCurrentRowClone to OperationById:

How to know query execution time in sql plus

I want to know the query execution time in sql plus along with statistics
I say set time on ;
set autotrace on ;
select * from view where usr_id='abcd';
if the result is 300 rows it scrolls till all the rows are retrieved and finally gives me execution time as 40 seconds or 1 minute.. (this is after all the records are scrolled )
but when i execute it in toad it gives 350 milli seconds..
i want to see the execution time in sql how to do this
database server 11g and client is 10g

If any one know how to Create Rule in Interface Data Transformer(IDT) Super user by using Lookup(Oracle R12 Version) Please help me on this.
I have one value in GL Interface table, while loding data into base tables (GL_JE_BATCHES, GL_JE_HEADERS, GL_JE_LINES) that values replace with another value.
For that purpose we have to use Interface Data Transformer.

How to get query execution time without running...?

i had 3 sql statements . I need to execute only one sql which execution time is very less.
Can any one help me , how to get query execution time without running that query and without using explain plan..?

For the documents you're already working with, use Image - Image Size, then UNcheck the Resample Image checkbox and type in the correct ppi value. Then everything will work.

How to trace the Execution of ZReport

I have to Trace the Excecution of a ZReport with it's Select-Options.
I.e. The ZReport contains the MIRO Data and Selection Screen is BUDAT ( MIRO Posting Date)
User Required to Keep trace when this Report is Executed with which Positng Date.
How to trace ZReport Execution? Is it possible?

How to make Rule to get notification for Shared Mailbox on Outlook 2013

Hi All, is anyone have idea how to make rule on Outlook 2013 to get notify if you receive new email from your "Shared Mailbox".
Is it possible that make a Rule for that notification? I have outlook here and I can't see notification when I receive new emails. Hope anyone can help me how to do this.

Assuming the mailbox is open in outlook as a shared mailbox, you can use a macro to watch the folder:

Private Sub Application_Startup()

Set Items = GetFolderPath("Accounting\Inbox").Items
End Sub
