How to purge Workflow queue after R12 upgrade before starting WF Mailer?

Hi,
We are about to upgrade to R12.1.3 from R11.5.9.
As part of the testing, I configured and started the Workflow Mailer in the new system. As soon as I did that, the system started sending a ton of notifications regarding past Requisition approvals apparently queued in the system. WF Mailer has been down since I did the last upgrade test.
We plan to approve all requisitions before the cutover in the old system, so there should be no email notifications pending. Is there a way of updating msg_state of those notifications in the wf_notification_out table with a value of "READY", so we can make sure that we will have a clean system and users will not receive any notifications regarding the past requisition approvals?

    Hi,
    I'm a bit late to the party in this thread, but:
    Are most of the unpopulated tables related to Financials? With the introduction of E-Business Tax (ZX) and Sub-Ledger Accounting in R12, some data seems to have been moved to other tables and schemas. For example, we had some reports that needed to be rewritten for R12 because some Receivables tables and views were empty after the upgrade. I don't get into the functional side of things very often, so I don't know if AR is similarly affected.
    Sorry I don't have much detail to offer, but maybe this will give you a starting point for further research.

    Discoverer Reports does not work in Multi-org Environment after R12 Upgrade. Created a simple report using the below query:
    SELECT po_header_id, segment1, type_lookup_code
    FROM po_headers
    WHERE segment1 = '5000002'
    Query works perfectly fine; when i set the ORG_CONTEXT in the database using the command:
    EXEC mo_global.set_policy_context('S',129)
    But the report doesn't fetch any data when ran from an Org based responsibility. We've ensured that the MO: Operting Unit is set accurately and general Oracle reports (PLSQL Program OR XML Publisher) are working perfectly fine.

    I followed the steps provided in Metalink Note: 732826.1 - It works for some responsibilities where the MO: Security Profile is not set; but fails for those responsibilities where the MO: Security Profile is set.
    I am looking for specific solution that works irrespective of either the MO: Operating Unit profile is set of not.
    Please suggest. Appreciate your response.

    Yes, I've gone thru both the notes specified below:
    Discoverer Workbooks Based On Organization Enabled Views Are Not Populated [ID 1293438.1]
    - Tried this option; but this option is messing up a couple of Oracle Standard Functionalities.
    - For ex: If i set this profile option; we are not able to create any receipts using Custom Responsibilities.
    I am able to create the receipt, when i remove this profile option.
    No Data Shows for Reports in Discoverer 10g with Applications Release 12 [ID 1054380.1]
    - I see that the products i am running these reports from AR/GL - already exists in these tables.
    Anything other options??

  • Missing data in ap_check_stocks after R12 upgrade

    Hello,
    We are currently in version R12.1.2 and I have an existing query from R11 which gets data from ap_check_stocks table. I am however not able to find any data on ap_check_stocks after R12 upgrade. Has this table been discontinued? I do not find any link in metalink which says that as well...
    The join used in the query is between ap_check_stocks and ap_checks is ap_checks.check_stock_id = ap_check_stocks.check_stock_id... Has something changed in R12?

    You can find AP_CHECK_STOCKS synonym in R12 and the base object is AP.AP_CHECK_STOCKS_ALL table.

  • Additional Setup After R12 Upgrade

    Hello Experts,
    We are currently in the Process of upgrading 11i.5.10.2 to R12.1.3.
    We are having GL, AR and Projects module as a part of the R12 upgrade. The question is straight forward, After R12 upgrade do we need to do any additional setup on subledger or GL level?
    If the answer is Yes, then pls guide me for the same.

  • How to uninstall the 8.0.6 Oracle Home after R12 upgrade

    I would like to remove the 8.0.6 Oracle Home from the central inventory after completing an R12 upgrade. Using the 10.1.3 OUI, I am able to remove the 9iAS Oracle Home from the inventory, but the 8.0.6 Oracle Home does not have a checkbox that allows OUI to deinstall. I thought there was some 8.0.6 process that would do the inventory deregistration.

    I found 8.0.6 $ORACLE_HOME/orainst. Using orainst, I could remove all software except the reports server, that throws the following error:
    or60w.dei(0): FILE_NOT_FOUND while deinstalling │ │
    │ │ or60w. (No such file or directory.)

  • Forms Personalization not working after R12 upgrade

    Hi,
    We have recently upgraded to R12. We have forms personalizations on the People, Enter and Maintain form and this is not working now after the R12 upgrade.
    I went to one of the form personalizations and Validated and Applied again but it still did not work. I also created a new one but had no success with that either.
    Any ideas how to get this working again ? Is there something extra that needs to be done for R12?

    Pl indicate which version of R12 and on what form you had the personalization in the previous version. Have you checked FND_FORM_CUSTOM_% tables to ensure that the personalization survived the upgrade ?

    I have done with the upgrade process from 11.5.9 CU2 to R 12.1.1 successfully, the instance is up and running. However, after checking the DB objects, I found that the old tablesapces have alot of DB objects. as shown below. Can I rerun the OATM tool now and do the migration?

  • After R12 upgrade unable to start OPP.

    Hi,
    We have upgraded our applications version from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.1. After the upgrade, Concurrent managers are came up and running fine. But OPP & Workflow processors are having the issue. When I checked OPP log it is showing the below error.
    "Conflicting collector combinations in option list; please refer to the release notes for the combinations allowed
    Could not create the Java virtual machine."
    Can some one advice me please.

    I really loved the Lenovo Security App too. However, it is no longer available in the Android L update (for all international phones, not only S60-A, but most (or all) of the other models with Android L as well).

  • How to enter workflow again after checkout

    I just tested how when a content has been released from a workflow, it doesn't enter the workflow again if it was checked out. I read somewhere that a workflow is triggered via a new revision so I was wondering why it didn't (since Checking Out content creates a new revision). How can I make the content enter the workflow again after checking it out? I am using UCM 10g.
    My workflow goes like this:
    editor checks in content --> approver reviews and approves content --> publisher approves and releases content
    after being released, the editor checks out the content and a new revision is created, but the status says "Released" already.

    now that I look into it, the field I set for the criteria was now blank! Why didn't it retrieve the data I previously entered into my criteria field?
    I actually found a workaround for this, I changed the criteria to ContentID matches id* so all I have to do is define the content ID like "id001" and they will enter the workflow.

  • How to purge exception queue

    I would like to write a store procedure to purge exception queue according to queue and corr_id, but the problem is corr_id needs to be passed as a variable.

  • Issue with Hebrew Reports after R12 Upgrade

    Hello All,
                We have upgraded our instance from 11.5.10.2 to R12.1.3.
    After upgrade we notice that a couple of reports have inverted question marks instead of Hebrew charecters. The report has both English & Hebrew charecters but the issue is only with the Hebrew ones).
    DB is on 11.2.0.3
    Charecter set is UTF8.
    On application Tier :  NLS_LANG=American_America.UTF8
    And as per the general configuration, we have updated the IX_PRINTING appropriately under env.
    (IX_PRINTING=$FND_TOP/resource/ixlib.cfg)
    Any related information on the above will be of great help.

  • How to restore missing fonts after Mavericks upgrade

    If your fonts are not working in Pages and other software after a Mavericks  'upgrade', it might be that you still have them, and simply need to turn them back on...
    1. Go to Font Book
    2. Find the failing fonts.
    3. If they are marked 'Off' then right click them and highlight 'Enable Fonts' option.

    FWIW Mavericks has wasted DAYS of my time this week... it disabled fonts, made my WD HDD incompatible, trashed Time Machine and lost my Google Drive folder, so my files don't sync etc.

    There's a very old thread about this for CS2. Domingo Chavez listed the required fonts and where they belong for that version, and even posted them for others to download and replace. I don't know if the collection has changed, but judging from my system I think not, so it would be worth trying the older files. As always, back up first..
