How to read adress data for storage location

Hello,
we need to read the adress data of a storage location in our own coding.
Does anybody could provide the information if the is a standard function module we could use?
If not - how is the link from T001L to the adress data?

From the T001L table, you will get all storage locations with in a plant.
From the TWLAD table, you will get address number for the combination of plant and storage location.
May be you will get multiple address numbers for the same combination of plant and storage location, if you maintained multiple address in the customization OX09.
From the table ADRC, you will get address details based on the address number, which is you got from the table TWLAD for the combination of plant and storage location.
T001L ( Plant and SL ) - TWLAD ( Address numbers ) - ADRC address details

Use of Vendor and Customer in 'Define Shipping Data for Storage Location"

Under the stock transfer order configuration, there is a IMG step "Define Shipping Data for Storage Location".
In this at storage location level, we can assign, sales org/distribution channel, division and VENDOR and CUSTOMER to storage location.
The customer number is used a sold-to-party in outbound deliveries.
But I am not able to figure out what's the use of VENDOR number we are specifying in this step.
If I am assiging the VENDOR Number here to every storage location, then when I am creating cross-company code Stock transport order, which vendor code I will select the one assigned to PLANT or one Assigned to Storage location.
Also I need to know what vendor account group I will use for creating this storage location vendor. I have more than one storage locations) under one plant. Soif I used account group as "0007" plant, SAP doesn't allow me to assigne one plant code to 2 vendors and in vendor master on 'additional purchasing data' screen I am not seeing storage location field, it has only 'PLANT' field.
So I need to know-
1. Which account group to use for creating storage location vendor
2. What's the ultimaye use of this vendor code
3. What vendor # I will use while creating cross-company PO (one for plant or one for storage location.

Define Shipping Data
Here in this step you maintain the customer number of the receiving plant. This customer number is used in SD shipping processing to identify the goods recipient (ship-to party) if stock transfer to be carried out with an SD delivery
A goods receipt can be planned in the receiving plant.
You can enter a vendor (transport vendor) in the stock transport order
In IMG step "Define Shipping Data for Storage Location".
You can assign sales org/distribution channel, division and VENDOR and CUSTOMER to storage location through Plant only.Means this Vendor is created for entering in the STO .This vendor is created for the the Plant (Supplying Plant)so as u can create STO.

Data for storage locations

hello
I have a list of storage locations which I retrieved from Table T001L.
I need to find the administrative information for these locations, such as address, telephone, etc etc.
where can I find it? is there a table that contains this info?

Anything is stored in tables.
the data you enter at the address tab are stored in tables starting with ADR
e.g. ADRC for the adress
ADR2 for telefone
You first have to get the adress number from table TWLAD

I am developing a report in which i have to fetch data on the basis of inspection lot and i want to have the STORAGE LOCATION data for inspection present in the QAMB table(QM: Link Between Inspection Lot and Material Document).
I am not able acess the data which stores info. about the storage location about it.I had tried to reterive the data for it through MSEG table but it is having large amount of data in it as i will not retirive through it and i am able to acess the desierd data through QAMB.
Is there any way to reterive the data for the storage location..

I had checked the table T001L you had mentioned but it does not have any link with the table QAMBor material present in the material document... The storage location present in QALS is when the material is for the Mvt Type 101 but when it is move to *unrestricted(321 Mvt.Type) *it goes to some other specified location.. that storage location i am looking for ...
I hope you will guide me out for it...

Transfer Order : Data for storage type search is not defined (A   )

Dear Experts ,
While trying to use the Transfer Order and trying to determine the storage type this error appears :
Data for storage type search is not defined (A   )
Message no. L3007
Diagnosis
Information on the storage type search has not been defined.
How ever , I have already configured the search and here is the Storage Type search's data in OMLY
1. Warehouse number : W10
2. Operation : A "Stock Removal"
3. Indicator :   E
4. Stock Category : Blank
5. Special Stock Category : Blank
6. Storage Location Ref :10
7. Storage Type : 10E

Hello,
The storage type in which you want to place the material or pick the material from has not been defined in the storage type search sequence.
You need to define the search sequence in customization so that storage type is determined automatically when the transfer order is created;
SPRO>>Logistics Execution>>Warehouse Management>>Strategies>>Activate Storage Type Search
In this go to determine search sequence and then
for warehouse number W10, operation as stock removal 'A' and in this maintained the relevant the storage type (10E) so that it is determined automatically.

Problem in Address update for storage location via LSMW

I am trying to update the address of storage location thru LSMW,
Normally when i run OX09 i get the "dialogue structure' in LHS panel but when I do the recording of OX09 in LSMW, I am not getting the "Dialogue structure" LHS panel & hence I can't go to the 'Addressees for storage location'
How to get the ""Dialogue structure" in LHS while recording in LSMW so that I can update the address also.
Currently my recording only takes me to the create storage location & no LHS 'dialogue structure' for 'Addressees for storage location'
Please give the suggestions as I its on urgent for me to update 1000 storage location.

WEB ROE - Convert previous (RPCROEK0) data for storage in ROE Workbench

We are in processing of moving to NEW VERSION (WEB ROE) version of ROE, activated BADI as required for switching from old ROE to new WEB ROE.I'm trying to execute SPRO node - Convert previous (RPCROEK0) data for storage in ROE Workbench, but in live run I'm getting error "Error writing to table T5KR1" is encountered. Please let me know how this can be resolved and what is causing this error in the system.

I would recommend you to have a look at the VI attached. It makes use of a VI named 'Read from Spreadsheet' to read the row and column data from the tab delimited excel file. The read data is then searched for the Alphabet specified and finally returns you the corresponding string. The test file used to validate the operation of the VI is also attached.

How to Get Missing Dates for Each Support Ticket In My Query?

Hello -
I'm really baffled as to how to get missing dates for each support ticket in my query. I did a search for this and found several CTE's however they only provide ways to find missing dates in a date table rather than missing dates for another column
in a table. Let me explain a bit further here -
I have a query which has a list of support tickets for the month of January. Each support ticket is supposed to be updated daily by a support rep, however that isn't happening so the business wants to know for each ticket which dates have NOT been
updated. So, for example, I might have support ticket 44BS which was updated on 2014-01-01, 2014-01-05, 2014-01-07. Each time the ticket is updated a new row is inserted into the table. I need a query which will return the missing dates per
each support ticket.
I should also add that I DO NOT have any sort of admin nor write permissions to the database...none at all. My team has tried and they won't give 'em. So proposing a function or storable solution will not work. I'm stuck with doing everything
in a query.
I'll try and provide some sample data as an example -

Use IW format - it will make solution NLS independent. And all you need is truncate 7th day of each month using IW:

How to read the data in spectrum analyzer (Anritsu MS2661C) and put it in Excel using Labview

Hi all, I'm new to using the labview, and I have some trouble doing my project using the labview software.
I have been trying to use the spectrum analyzer (Anritsu MS2661C) which connect to computer using the GPIB connection.
I have got the instrument driver which can write and control the instrument using Labview 2010.
and my Question is how do read the data or result from the spectrum analyzer and send it to the microsoft excel?
Do I need to use other software or programming to do this step?
If anyone know how is this done, please let me know.

Hi ery,
In order to send data that you have read in from an instrument to Excel, the most convenient way to do this would be to use our Report Generation Toolkit. The Report Generation Toolkit is a very useful tool that allows you to interface to Microsoft Office software from LabVIEW, including Word and Excel. I am not sure if you are familiar with this, but I have attached a link that explains more about the Report Generation Toolkit below.
Another way would be to use the Write To Spreadsheet File VI. While this will store your data to a spreadsheet data file, it will not allow you to programmatically perform any Excel formatting like the Report Generation Toolkit offers. I have also attached a link to some information on the Write To Spreadsheet VI below.
Also, be sure to check out the Example Finder in LabVIEW for a number of examples on how to write data to a spreadsheet file. From LabVIEW, you can go to Help»Find Examples to launch the Example Finder. From there, you can search for "spreadsheet," which should populate examples for use in different applications. File transport does not have read/write privileges for receive location???

Hi all.
I try to read an EDI-file from a file location.
In configured the receive location but when I enable it I get an error message in the log saying:
File transport does not have read/write privileges for receive location "Location" (Event ID: 7183)
The location is correct (I used the browse option) and the folder is shared with all users (full access for everybody).
How can I get rid of this error

I think you can just delete it in the sales order directly, if you are using make-to-order scenario, then there will be special stock left for the sales order as the production has been goods receipt, you need to use MM transaction move the stock to unrestricted use stock. If you are using make-to-stock scenario, there should be no further problem. If you are using assembly order, please try to reject the sales order item to see if it could fullfill your requirement.
