Hi,
My company is using Microsoft exchange server.
IMPA and POP3 has been disabled, but my requirement is I wan to read email. Then ask the administrator of the server to enable IMAP. If you have a valid business requirement to do that, there would be no reason for the administrator to refuse.

This java class has no error. Then it should work - not only at compile time, but at run-time too.
Because it does not, it means there are errors. And as the error you've posted is not an Oracle SQL or PL/SQL error, your question is off-topic to this forum.
Why would the code not work at run-time? Numerous reasons, including environmental ones. Java inside Oracle are subjected to a number of restrictions and limitations that do not exist in a Java VM outside Oracle (for good reasons).
So you need to consider that too - and that is why I referred you to the documentation... which is IMO mandatory reading for all Oracle developers.

  • Config OES/sendmail to forward email from/to Exchange Server

    Hi
I have installed an OES on a Red Hat ES 3.
But on my network i have a Exchange Server that send/receive all emails. And i cannot change here nothing(company rules). Now what i need to do? I need to config the Linux sendmail to relay on the Exchange Server(the exchange is now configured relay on Linux) to forward the emails that i need.
I only need this to one email account e.g [email protected] The Oracle Email Server is running, but i need to config the Linux to forward the email to the Exchange Server, and go to outside. Also i need that receiving an email to [email protected] that my Linux receive this email from the Exchange Server.
I have configured the sendmail.cf like Oracle says on the Administrator’s Guide manual. I have add the ip and name of the Exchange on /etc/mail/access to relay. But still i cant send emails outside. If i test the sendmail -v testuser, and all says ok. I have tested telnet domain 25, and all went ok.
I think the only problem is forward the oes to exchange to forward outside
    Any help
    Many thanks
    Thank you
    Jail

    Hi andreas
Yes i also think that it maybe resolved by an alias and forwarding
Th COM is the domain in the OES is the com default. Is this domain that you referring?
The company domain that is in the OES(e.g xpto.com) is the same that is in the Exchange. Do you think this will be a problem? Must i create one like oes.xpto.com? To work with the OES?
I have created a relay on the access file, but is this ok? Or must i need change anything else? Mean while i will check that url
And yes i can connect to the Exchange on port 25 from the RH
Since i have several user/account created on the OES, the only think that i did not understand yet is how can they receive any email?
The fax@domain was a example. But i can collect all outside emails from that account and with some rules forward to any other OES account? I think this is possible? Or this is the hard way to configure the OES?
    Thank You

  • Email Problem- Microsoft Exchange Server

I have been trying to setup my two email accounts on the Tour from Microsoft Outlook. I got one email to work correctly on the Tour, it was a POP3 email. However, my main email is on the Exchange Server and for some reason the Blackberry is not receiving those emails. I have tried everything I could in Outlook (2003) to fix it, called my service provided, and IT. Please if anyone could help give me some advice on how to setup the email for an Exchange Server (NOT POP3), I would much appreciate it!!!

  • Can LabVIEW send an email through Microsoft Exchange server without an account set up in Outlook?

I've found sample code that shows how to send email through Outlook using LabVIEW.  On any computer I log into on our network, my profile loads and I have access to the exchange server through Outlook so the code works.
However, I am developing a program that will run on a lab computer with a generic PC login that is shared among everyone in the lab.  Exchange server/outlook is not set up for the generic user.
Is it possible to have labVIEW send an email through the exchange server with a server name, username, and password coded into the executable?

You would need to send a standard SMTP message via Exchange. The Exchange server will likely require authentication, so you won't be able to use the built-in SMTP VIs, as they do not support authentication. If you're on Windows you can use .NET (see this example), or use the OpenG SMTP VIs.

  • Iphone Email Setup - Microsoft Exchange Server

We have an exchange server and as a result having a little problem getting my email acct setup so I can "send" and "reply" to email... I can now receive email but cannot send/respond..
My IT dept is looking into it and asked me...
If you could find out if that device (IPhone)has a fixed IP address then we can get this resolved pretty quickly.
    Suggestions please...
    Tom Porter

I've also found sending email via an Exchange server to be problematic (intermittent but mostly not sending). I've laid it to the server I'm using, but this thing is still young. Some other sites also have reported Exchange issues.
Some reports have said Apple is going to address this issue in an update, but since many people were wrong about Exchange support in the first place, I'm biding my time.

  • I am unable to open some emails from an exchange server.

Since I updated to iOS7 I have been unable to download most emails from a work exchange server. In most cases it appears to be downloading the message yet nothig appears after a lenghty wait.

A reset of the device is a good first step:
Hold the home button + the lock button for about 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears.  You will not lose any data or current settings.
If you have already done this and it didn't resolve the issue, try remove the email accound and then re-add it.

  • Using alias for sending email from Microsoft Exchange

    Hi there,
I have Exchange 2010 server installed.
There are 5 domains hosted on this server.
I can receive mail if sent fo email@domain1, @domain2 etc...
I cannot send mail using email@domain2 , it always goes out as @domain1
How can I resolve this issue ?
    many thanks for any help

Long standing question as to how to choose the sending domain name as (be default) must be a default set. You can change the default in ESM, but I am guessing you want to allow senders to choose on the fly.
Since there are multiple ways of accomplishing this do an internet search on the following:
exchange 2010 multiple domains ability choose sending address
This is probably the best single explanation:
    http://www.slipstick.com/exchange/exchange-server-secondary-email-addresses/
and let us know if you have further questions.

  • How do I do to read more than 200 emails of Microsoft Exchange Server ?

    Dear All,
I need to read lots exchange emails more than 200 in iPhone.
Could tell me how I can do?
    Best Regards.

If there are more than 200 messages in a mailbox, there is or should be a load more messages selection available at the bottom of the mailbox to load more messages that are available on the server.

  • Setting up Email to Microsoft exchange server

I need help setting up my email to my server. I can access my mail though the web by using mail.exchange.com, but when I try to set it up for my BB it will not recognize it. What do I need to tell my IT person to do to make it work?

Your company will need to have the BES (Blackberry Enterprise Service) software installed on their servers. Point your IT person to the following link:
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/server/exchange
If your company doesn't have the budget for it, you can set up a forwarding rule to a blackberry email that you create using BIS and then modify that entry to have a reply-to setting that points to your work email address.

    Hallo Thomas,
    2 suggestions :
     - first go to Help >> Seach examples... and search for pop mail, no doubt you'll find somtehing.
     - then have a look at that thread, there are some informations you might want to know before coding
