My support period already over. But I don't no BIOS Admin password on my notebook...

Hi,
Unfortunately, business machines such as Probooks or Elitebooks have more stringent security than consumer models - they don't produce 'halt codes', the password cannot be derived from the Serial No. and the code is stored in non-volatile memory so removing the RTC cell will not reset the password in this case.
If you Contact HP Business support they should be able to send you a customised SMC.bin file which you can use at boot to reset the password.

Enabling the parental control function has changed the admin status to a managed one which was not intended.
How can I recover the admin status? I have tried to follow a few instructions found in the internet that suggested to use the single mode, but I could not find the necessary admin files that needed to be removed so that the Admin Assistant program would start at booting. Instead, the system is not starting at all.

boot into Recovery mode by holding down ⌘R as your MacBook Pro starts up. When the OS X Utilities menu appears on your desktop, select Utilities from your menu bar, and from there select Terminal. In Terminal, run the following command:
resetpassword
Follow its instructions, and your administrative user’s password will be changed accordingly. Exit Terminal, then select Restart from the Apple menu to reboot into normal mode. When the login screen appears, log in as your administrative user, and then reset your administrative user’s password keychain so that it won’t constantly ask you for your administrative user’s password when you need to do administrative tasks.
If you find that your administrative user is still parentally managed, you could reboot into Single User mode, and enter the following commands there:
/sbin/mount -uw /
/bin/rm -f /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
/sbin/reboot
These should allow you to create a new administrative user, from which you should be able to reset your original administrative user to a non-managed state.

by using SYS as login and the password I created during installation - it did not work
I blame myself - forgot the password
HOW TO CHECK WHETHER THE PASSWORD IS RIGHT / WHERE CAN I GET IT FROM?

PS. On installation day I succesfuly used database with that password in the other words I entered database as Admin ???

How to recover the admin password.

One of the setup options for vFDD is to enable SMTP and setup the SMTP email address. If this has been done, at the login screen user can click on the "Forgot Your Password" link. You will be prompted with a dialogue to enter your username and an email will be sent to that username to help you reset your password. This process works for System Admin account as well.
If you have not configured SMTP email, then you must reinstall vFDD.

As this is a new issue for me, I believe I had the incorrect approach, maybe you can help me. What I want to do is recover a few files in my desktop, and some information i had on the iCal application and the Mail application as well.As I do not want to do a full migration into this computer (which is not mine) I believe that starting the damaged MBP in Target mode should allow me to search and cop the files I need. But:
1. Can I open the Ical and mail apps to look for the info I need while reading it as an external HD ?
2. Do the target machine (my friends) still need to be updated to ML o Mavs so that it recognizes my MBP as an external drive if starting it in Target mode ? (no migration assistant)

yes I am OperationDumbo when it comes to cpu's nowadays...I read and learn a little & then become very dangerous...I have a smart cpu friend to help me...he didn't know about my cpu and resetting the bios admin password...he suggested unplugging battery for 20 min and didn't work..I have tried every passw I thought it might be & wrote it down on my cpu paperwork which got lost in a move.....sure would appreciate any ideas you have for resetting it...After I tried what I thought it was 3-4 times I get an error message14284278...I tried that # and it didn't work either...I haven't figured out how to post in this forum yet so I pm'd you...I guess I have an acct to see if you respond... and when i logged into the support communities , i've found some codes to write ; like
typing /sbin/fsck -fy

and that were written to be entered after loging in with the single user mode ( as described ) by pressing the "command" key with the "s" key
but the result were that i've lost the access unto the both standard accounts
please help i need to enter into my system i need to finish out my work urgently i dont have another computer

There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to fully boot. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu. Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

Sorry mate but this issue has nothing to do with BIOS. BIOS is saved on the ROM module the virus cannot affect the ROM module since it needs to be flashed and I dont think that this a case on your notebook.
You just deleted something in registry?? Im afraid this is not enough to get rid of a virus
The best solution is to format the HDD and to reinstall the system once again
Use the recovery disk because the recover would delete all partitions and would reinstall the system, drivers and tools again
