How to redirect a first time OAM authenticated user to a custom page

We are using OAM 11.1.1.5 with OVD. If user logs in for the first time thru OAM, we wanted to collect few more additional information about the user. To do this, we wanted to redirect the user to the collect-additional-data.jsp page immediately after OAM authentication. This will be only one time operation for the user. How to do this in OAM.
Thanks!
Kabi

Just set additional-data.jsp in your authentication policy success url. So always after authentication user req is redirected to the success url. You can also set the requested url in the response in case you want to retrieve it in your additional-data.jsp.

A long shot but you might try using the phone to send an email to the phone asking the owner to call their mobile phone.  If the owner has a computer they may get the email and get in contact with you.
But Roger's suggerstion of turning it over to the police is the best bet.

  • How do you redirect the user to a custom page after the "Save" button is clicked?

In SharePoint 2010, I could add the following code to a save button to redirect the user to a custom page.
    <input type="button" value="Submit" class="btnStyle" name="btnSave" onclick="javascript: {ddwrt:GenFireServerEvent('__commit;__redirect={/SitePages/Thankyou.aspx}')}" />
However, how do you do this for a save button in SharePoint Online? The code of a save button in SharePoint Online looks like
    <input type="button" value="Save" name="ctl00$ctl33$g_175de2e0_43c1_4005_bac5_0ab02439686f$ctl00$toolBarTbl$RightRptControls$ctl00$ctl00$diidIOSaveItem" onclick="if (!PreSaveItem()) return false;if (SPClientForms.ClientFormManager.SubmitClientForm('WPQ1')) return false;WebForm_DoPostBackWithOptions(new WebForm_PostBackOptions(&quot;ctl00$ctl33$g_175de2e0_43c1_4005_bac5_0ab02439686f$ctl00$toolBarTbl$RightRptControls$ctl00$ctl00$diidIOSaveItem&quot;, &quot;&quot;, true, &quot;&quot;, &quot;&quot;, false, true;javascript: {ddwrt:GenFireServerEvent('__commit;__redirect={/SitePages/Thankyou.aspx}')}))" id="ctl00_ctl33_g_175de2e0_43c1_4005_bac5_0ab02439686f_ctl00_toolBarTbl_RightRptControls_ctl00_ctl00_diidIOSaveItem" accesskey="O" class="ms-ButtonHeightWidth" target="_self">

Not exactly what you are asking for, but if you are creating the link then you could add "?Source=" to the URL.

Thanks for the reply. Load balancer is configured with sticky session. In my investigation, IBM web server plugin which load balances between two opensso also does not have sticky effenity session configuration. I have to check if there is something like that is available for in it.
But is that the issue? how can u tell that?

  • How to prevent a first time login prompt for an external application.

    Hi,
I'm doing a Portal iFS integration project. We managed to login to our iFS application via an external application definition in the Login Server. We created a JSP screen to create iFS users. In the back-end java-code uses the Portal API to create a Portal user. When this new user uses the external application link for the first time he gets a Portal screen to supply the external username/password combination. Can someone answer the following questions:
    1. How can I customize the layout of this first time external application login screen just like the you can customize the standard portal "login/change password" screens ?
    2. Is there an API to specifiy the external username/password combination for a specific portal user and specific external application in advance in order to prevent the firsttime login screen ?
Any help/answers would be great. We need to implement this in a few weeks.
    regards,
    Willem-Pieter van der Lugt

There is an API -- WWSSO_PSTORE_EX which is in $IAS_HOME/portal30/admin/plsql/sso/ssopsex.pks which includes APIs
for accessing the password store. Please see the package specification here, which is not wrapped. This API is generally private to the SSO schema, but it is granted for EXECUTE to the
PORTAL30_PS schema - which is the schema provided for access to the password store.
To add a users credentials to the store, you would use the pstore_add_user_info procedure...
    PROCEDURE pstore_add_userinfo
        p_app_id     IN VARCHAR2
      , p_ssouser    IN VARCHAR2
      , p_app_user   IN VARCHAR2
      , p_app_pwd    IN VARCHAR2
      , p_fname1     IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fval1      IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fname2     IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fval2      IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fname3     IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fval3      IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fname4     IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fval4      IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fname5     IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fval5      IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fname6     IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fval6      IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fname7     IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fval7      IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fname8     IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fval8      IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fname9     IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_fval9      IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
      , p_user_prefs IN VARCHAR2
);Note that you should provide p_app_pwd as cleartext, and the API encrypts it before storing.

  • First time using multiple users - how do I share addy books, etc?

Hello, We just got the new iMac and for the first time I am setting it up for multiple users. Can anyone guide me to a tutorial or guide on sharing different things between users?
Specifically, I'd like to share iTunes and iPhoto libraries and also Entourage address books with the new users that have been set up. Probably some other stuff to that I'm not thinking of. I browsed around without any luck.
    Many thanks.

    You're welcome!
I've been on these discussion boards with various logins I always seem to forget since the iMac first came out, 8 years or so ago.
LOL Yeah, I have to drop the Welcome... bit. It's bitten me two or three times already since the forums software was changed....
I'd at least like to import my current address book into my wife's address book...
Open your Address Book and choose the Directory, 'All.' Select an entry and then do Command-A so that all of the entries are highlighted. Go to the File menu and choose Export vCard. Export it to your Desktop, and then put it in the Shared folder. Log in to your wife's account, open Address Book, and then from the File menu, choose Import > vCards, point to the vCard in the Shared folder, and you're set....

  • First time connection, clueless user

Hello all and thanks for the help.
I just bought an Airport capsule I intend to use for the following:
    - To back up 2 computers using Time machine
    - To be able to exchange files between computers (or if easier) simply move files from one computer to the other using Time machine back ups - manually
    SPECS
    1. Computers:
    - imac 3.2Ghz Intel Core i5, 16GB
    - Brand new MacBook Pro 2.8 Dual Core Intel i5, 16GB
    2. OS and software: All of them running 10.9.4, Time Machine 1.3, Airport Utility 6.3.2
    3. Internet conection:
    - A small, Comcast Netgear wireless router that has several opened Ethernet connections. To it there are two things connected: a Sonos system device and a cable connecting the router to the modem, but again, there are several slots opened
    - A medium size, black, vertically  resting DSLModem: Arris TM722 (there is only one Ethernet slot on this, and it is taken by a connection between it and the Comcast receiver)
    QUESTIONS
    1. How should I make the cable connections for first time set up of the capsule and for later ongoing use
    2. This may be an unrelated to this topic, but FYI: the laptop is brand new, so I will need to bring some files and data from the iMac to the laptop, not sure what method will use... but may use a manual method from Time machine if possible.
    THANKS
    Alberto.

The modem is not dsl, it is a cable modem with telephone ability.. the phone cables might be confusing you but there should be a thick coaxial cable going into the modem which is the cable connector.
    Comcast Netgear wireless router
I am not aware of comcast supplying a wireless router.. if it is specifically from comcast you maybe stuck with it.. but i would try to plug the TC directly into the Arris modem.
Power cycle the modem.. this is more complex with your model if the battery is present.
The TC should be in standard router mode and the public IP should then be loaded onto the WAN interface of the TC.
No luck you will need to leave the netgear in place and plug the TC into that with ethernet.. but in this case you will bridge the TC instead of using it as router.
    1. How should I make the cable connections for first time set up of the capsule and for later ongoing use
Ethernet is always best. Especially for the first backup.
Your new laptop may not even have an ethernet port. In which case wireless should be fine.. unless you want to buy the thunderbolt to ethernet adapter which is only around $40.
    2. This may be an unrelated to this topic, but FYI: the laptop is brand new, so I will need to bring some files and data from the iMac to the laptop, not sure what method will use... but may use a manual method from Time machine if possible.
You can migrate your files.. this works well for most people.. but the disk size in the laptop might be SSD and small in which case yes, manually copy the files.. but don't use TM .. if you need to copy files there is no reason to use the TC at all.. the two computers linked over a network and you can copy files directly by sharing on one computer.

  • Slow start first time for domain user

When a domain user (Active Directory, Win2003) starts StarOffice 8 first time, it takes very often about 10 minutes until the program is started with a 10MB-network. Next time it takes only about 15-45 seconds on the same computer. I have noticed that is very high network traffic when the user starts the program first time from the server where the user folder "Application data" is saved. But the StarOffice8 folder in "Application data" has only the size of 2.8 MB (38 folders and 87 files).
Can I speed up the first start of StarOffice 8 for new users?
Is "copy files from another users Application data/StarOffice8" a solution?

Spotlight indexing may take  a while and slowdown the Mac.

user from internet, I get the next error when I visited the pages with webparts.
When I visit the page with an authenticated user, that show me the webpart normaly.
I try to check for permissions in the page, I click page permissions
or library permissions and shows the next:
    Shows me the same error.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks a lot!!

    Hi,
As I understand, after you restored the site from one server to other server you encountered the error.
    1. From the error you provided, it seems that it cannot find relative files, it is possible that you did not restore the site fully. You can restore the site again.
    2. You can check the ULS log with the correlation ID, and get the details of the errors. You can fix the problems according to the details of the errors.
The case below is about there are several ways to backup and restore site in SharePoint 2010, you can refer to the case.

  • How to redirect the first web page?

Hey everyone. Does anyone know how to set up a firewall or router so that when an IP is first assigned, the very first web page that they pull up (port 80 request) is automatically redirected to a web page. But only on the first web page, so that they can go ahead and surf other subsequent pages after they view the splash screen.

Actually, what I mean is similar to when you log into your hotel's Wifi. Whenever you open up a browser, you get redirected to some splash page where you have to accept some terms and conditions. I have a Linksys 3G CDMA router and I want it to put up a splash page whenever someone first logs in and opens up a browser.

  • How to know whether first time to excute a Tcode after logon

    Now i need do a BDC (Tcode:ABUMN)
when i first excute the ABUMN after logon, the first dynpro is 300(need input a company code)
And after first run , when i excute ABUMN again, it will skip the company screen(300) automatically
    How to judge it?

    Hi,
As far as I can see, the transaction reads the company code an then saves this comp. code in a static variable.
Since you are using LSMW I see two solutions:
If you use LSMW interactively (e. g. during initial load), you have to start ABUMN manually once before starting your BDC.
Otherwise you have to call ABUMN once - only to enter the company code - and ignore erros (e. g. if DYNPRO 300 isn't shown), then start the "real" BDC.
Hope this helps (please reward me if it does).

  • How to Configure SQLServer2008R2 to let Windows Authenticated Users Create Database with MCV4 Code First App

Trying to Learn MVC code first with Vs2013 web express on windows 7 os computer. When code runs to create database get: An exception of type 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException' occurred in EntityFramework.dll but was not handled in user code
Additional information: CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'.
Have this problem with the 'OdeToFood' plurasight course as well with the
'developing ASP.NET MvC 4 Web Applications Jump Start' MVA course.
    Re-installed sql2008r2 using window
admin user and ran the project and get same message as when i run the project with the none admin user.
What are steps to allow database creation for admin user and none windows admin user?
    Daniel Howard

    David, thanks for the reply.
I believe the problem may be something else because after adding the
user to 'sysadmin' and I still get the message
Additional information: CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'.
Perhaps I need to go to ASP.NET forum to ask the question.
I will mark you answer as answer.
    Thanks again

  • How can I create a portal server authentication user with a batch

    hi,
I am trying to import users into the portal server emulating the create user procedure as plumtree. What I cannot understand at the moment is which classes are involved in the sequence of creating a user.
the problem starts from the fact that I have used a synch WS and it works but, being the table a dummy one and the users to be authenticated by the portal server, I couldn't use that synch as a definitive.
I tryed using plumtree.server.CIPTUser class with no success. could not understand how to actually create the user after setting the parameters to the object.
Is there any documentation explaining how to create the portal server emulation of create user. this could be usefull for all those cases when there is no central repository of user and passwords.
    thanks
    Mario

    This should get you started.
    IPTUser=IPTSession.GetUsers.Create(iAdminFolderID)
    IPTServerContext=IPTUser.GetInterFaces("IPTServerContext")
    IPTServercontext.Store
This is a high level implementation. It should get you very close.
    thanks,
    Craig

  • First time MacBook pro user - Why is my MacBook very slow??!

    HELP !!!.
Got my first MacBook - and I am really dissapointed by the performance. My Toshiba Ultrabook is 20 times faster for these task's!!!!
Running the below MacBook, with a PhotoBook application named Hofmann - response time from moving the pointer is between 6 secondsnds and 20 seconds.
4 GB memory is "running" green - no swap is used - wonder why, since memory utilisation is 3,99 GB.
CPU is running at 20% - not really indicating a problem?
Can anything be done to tune this snail....?
More memory (Is it a self to do task and is 3 part memory awailable?)?
    Enable swapping?
    Other tweaks?

Spotlight indexing may take  a while and slowdown the Mac.
