Problem while publishing orders

Hi,
I'm doing some checks inside a BAdi(/sapapo/smoy_pub_app) in APO on sales order and if it doesn't pass through those checks i should not pass , hence i'm deleting those orders.
However, the system still thinks its being passed to R/3 and the record is being locked. how can i overcome this issue. Is there any variable inside thru which i can tackle this problem or Is there any functionmodule so that i can update the status.

Hi Kranthi - You are not using the correct BADI - the BADI you are using allows data that is not naturally sent to R3 to be added. According to IMG you sholuld use APOCFPCO to influence the publication of sales order data from SAP APO to SAP R/3 which use the following user exits:
EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_G_CO_002
EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_G_CO_003
EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_G_CO_005
EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_G_CO_006
EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_G_CO_007
You will need to investigate each exit to determine which to use.

Problem while publishing the models - it is taking much time

Hi,
I am facing one issue while publishing the models.Previously when Re-publishing the models in Configurator processing pending publications usually took 3 to 5 minutes per model. Currently it is taking 15-20 minutes per model to process. Please suggest me the possiblities to identify the root cause of the issue.

You'll probably want to gather a trace for the Process a Single Publication concurrent request. You can turn this on by selecting ' enable trace' on the program definition. You'll need your dba to review the trace to identify which parts of the program are taking the longest.
If you haven't run CZ Purge for awhile, try running it. Also find out how often stats are gathered for the CZ schema.

Problems While Publishing a Service in Service Registry

Hi folks,
while I was following the diffrent steps that were described in this blog:

i´ve get an error.
After execute the trx a pop up window asking me the mndt user and pass of the '/ESRegistryWS/BasicAuthConfig' path. I ´ve insert the user and pass of the administrator´s account in the CE. is that ok? .
I get this error Msg.
"Exception raised during physical system publication. Code : '10150'"
Can anyone help me with this problem please?

In NetWeaver Administrator under SOA Management _Business Administration _Web Services Administration
Client Proxy Name: ServicesRegistrySi
Authentication: User name/password
Role: SERVICES_REGISTRY_READ_WRITE
have you done it? this is the only role that i used in CE.

Problem while publishing the service

I have installed the SAP netweaver Trail sP1 Preview JAVA EE server.
I have also installed the Preview _Dev Studio.
The Application server is up and running fine
http://<hostname>:50100/
I followed the
"Web Services Testing and SAP NetWeaver Application Server, Java EE 5 Edition"
arcticle written by Mamoon Yunus.
I could create the web service as mentioned in the document.
But when i try to publich it it fails it gives aerror message "Publishing failed".
One thing which i noticed is the Webservice is try to published on http://<hostname>:50000/ and thats the reason i think the publishing fails.
How can i chage the port number form 50000 to 50100.
What ahsould be steps followed form developer studio

Thanks for the help.
I could test the webservcie with the SOAPSonar tool and it worked fine.
Only one thing i would like to address
is that the p;ublishing of the webservice on the SAP server was very slow.
For almost 3 hours the dialog was showing "publishing.......".
Then finally i cancelled it and i got a message that service was deployed sucessfully.
I had the windows 2003 server m/c with 1GB RAM on whihc both the SAP server and netweaver studio was running.
Can this be the problem of slow publishing

Problem while changing Order Acceptance

Hi Friends,
We have created one Order Acceptance which have 5 line items , and with one of these line items a Release Order has been created. , i.e. Order Acceptance has being fully referenced with that line item.
After Release Order , Delivery Instruction and proforma invoice with that delivery has been created .
Now the problem is that , if I am changing the quantity of that line item in Order Acceptance new Release Order cannot be created.
Any ideas to make it possible?

have you searched for OSS notes? The note 1137897 looks like related to your problem. It mentions different BAPI but I assume that both BAPI reuse same routines and therefore it might solve your problem as well.

We are programming a very simple PL/SQL Procedure where we are declaring the following Cursor:Declare
Cursor CUnidadP is
Select UNOR_CO_UNID_ORGID,UNOR_CO_PADREID,UNOR_NU_NIVEL from Unidad_Organizativa
where Unor_NU_NIVEL > 1)
order by Unor_NU_NIVEL;
(We need to have sorted records in the cursor)
Curiously, this cursor declaration works fine in our local 8.1.6 Database (in an NT machine) but it is not working in our customer Database (8.0.4.3.0 for SUN/SOLARIS)
where we are getting the following error messages:
"ORA-06550:line 3, column 9
PLS-00707:unsupported construct or internal error (2603)
ORA-06550:line 3, column 9
PL/SQL:SQL Statement ignored"
So, my question is: Anyone knows why? Is there any bug concerning to 8.0.4.3.0 version for SUN Solaris referring to this subject? Does anyone know a different way of doing this getting same results?

There is a bug with the following description:
Bug:619477
Description: Although SQL supports the ORDER BY clause in subqueries,
PL/SQL does not yet support these.
Workaround: Execute SQL statements with such subqueries through dynamic SQL.
An easier workaround is an explicit (out-of-line) view
Maybe this (or a related bug) is your problem

Hi Satya,
for testing purposes you can start the OC4J comming with the Developer Suite and call your report in the browser like:
http://<your-machine>:8889/reports/rwservlet?report=<your_module>&destype=cache.....
You can include in <your_module> the path to your module.

Error while publishing a service with WSPUBLISH: Error publishing Endpoint

Hallo,
I've a problem while publishing a service which a had created via proxy. I configured the service and one endpoint (binding) in SOAMANAGER. When I publish the service in WSPUBLISH I get the error:
'Error publishing Endpoint for SD : <Proxy>, Service : <Service>, EP : <Endpoint>.
with details:
'10160A save request exceeded the quantity limits for a given structure type .#Number of BusinessEntities exceeds your limit of 1 (2)'
In the Service Registry I can find the service but without endpoints.
Does anybody know what happend ?
We use a SAP NetWeaver 7.10 with SP05 (SAPKB71005) but the same error happens if I publish a service from a CRM 5.0 with SP15 (SAPKB70015) to the Service Registry of the 7.10

This is my steps to publish ES to SR:
1. Create RFC destination in SM59
2. Create ES Parameter in WSPARAM
3. Create logical port for SR in LPCONFIG
4. Release Web Service for SOA Runtime in WSCONFIG
5. Publish ES in WSPUBLISH.
When i was using SOAMANAGER to manually create the endpoint, the endpoint in the SR doesnt works though.
eg, Business Administration -> WS Administration -> Search for CRM_BPBASICDATABYIDQR -> Apply selection -> Configuration -> Create Service -> enter new service name and new binding name -> user id/password for HTTP Authentication -> save.
It works after i released it in WSCONFIG (ya, i know it's old way) and re-publish.

The log for production order preliminiary costing is not saved. Therefore, once the order is saved, there is no log available anymore (this is by the way a question of PP; none of the logs is saved).

Help required while publishing product data in Adobe InDesign

Hi Experts,
I have installed MDM7.1 publisher(build version- 7.1.01.46) and Adobe InDesign CS3(version-5.0.4) in my local system.
I also installed the plug-in for InDesign version CS3 - the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005
SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) in my local system.
While publishing data from MDM publisher to Adobe InDesign, it's not populating data in Adobe InDesign window.
What would be the problem while publishing, is there any other plu-ins required apart from the above.
Please help me if any have idea's related this.

Yes Indesign CS3 was running
Instead of I entered my computer name at the network, and after some tries it worked to some extent
We got it working, but at the end of every publication, Indesign stopped with an error message and was shut down.
I tried to publish again today, but now nothing happens, no page is generated in Indesign
I tried to generate a XML file and got this "IE7 error" on a 0 kb file:
Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
The plugin is: MDM Paper Module, Version 7.1.02.59
Indesign CS3, version 5.0.4
MDM publisher : 7.1.01.46

As note already on the iBA forum [ AppleID for ibooks publishing ], you need two IDs. You can't use your developer ID.
If you already signed up for books with that ID, you need to talk to Apple to straighten things out.

Hi Madhusadan,
Can you check whether the product exists in the ERP System or not? You can take the product names and can check the same using the Tcode: MM03 in ECC System. Also, it would be good if you have a look at the product from the CRM System if there are any errors or the product is already archived.
Is the Sales Order you are creating from a Preceding Transaction ?

I've got a problem with this too. I use the BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 with BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT and the webdynpro shows me the document number created in R3 with a Success message. But when I go to R3 and try to display the created sales order, it doesn't exists. So... Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT. ¿Can anybody help me with this?
The code I use is this:
When the user pushes the SAVE button in the WebDynpro, this code executes:

MobileMe problems! "Error occurred while publishing file..."

Is anyone else getting an "error occurred while publishing file" message when they try to publish their iWeb sites to MobileMe? This happens all the time. As a result, all my red icons in the iWeb window remain red.
I have tried renaming one of the site folders in MobileMe to see if that would eliminate the problem -- the program would think it was putting a new site on the Internet, instead of updating an existing one. That didn't work.
If anyone has any advice, I'd be grateful.

Me too. I went to the Apple store today as I have tried everything. Everything was fine until I updated to iLife 09. The advice I was given was to delete the site from my iDisk and then republish the whole thing - so as to start from fresh - but guess what?- same problem.
I got this error message.

An error occurred while publishing file “/private/var/folders/ia/iabx77EFHCGu5JUdA-gS+++TI/TemporaryItems/com.apple.iWeb403_TEMP_255806071_2/sites/SukiHutchinson/Media/10 Left Bank Two - Theme From Vision On-1.mp3”. Try publishing again later.
Any help would be appreciated - the mp3 file was fine before and it is not a DRM.
