How to reload Canvas contents ---any help

Hi All,
In javaScript we have window.reload(); to reload the window.
Is there any function in Flex to reload application / any
components like <Canvas> , <DataGrid> etc. If there is
no function to support this feature how can I acheive this
programatically. Anybody suggests me . (In Flex we have
removeAllChildren() method to remove all chidren of Canvas .. is
any similar methods to reload all content of Canvas , DataGrid
etc...or application)

Hi ,
I tried invalidateDisplayList() or invalidateProperties()
methods . But it's not reloading the <Canvas> . I tried to
implement navigateToURL() --- it's loading the entire application
again. Have u any other alternative to this.

It appears as if my startup disk has been reversed and not using the fusion ssd portion as it should. At least its now reversed as to what it used to be originally before. the 128gb ssd used to be on top. Is my mac booting fusion correctly? Thank you for responding as I was about to reformat.

I'm on Windows 7. Why won't Adobe download my file converted from pdf to Word .doc or .docx? Error message comes up saying file failed to download due to configuration error but I don't know how to correct this. Any help appreciated!

that's an absolutely useless help to him/her if he/she has lost the remote. the apple tv can ONLY be paired with one remote at a time.
a far more useful solution would be to use the apple remote app for the phone, touch or ipad ... except itunes 11 and/or ios7 has that all botched up now, so ... that's useless for the foreseeable future.

It sounds like your Mac is becoming unresponsive for no apparent reason. I recommend starting by resetting your computers SMC:
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)

Resetting the SMC for Mac Pro, Intel-based iMac, Intel-based Mac mini, or Intel-based Xserve
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord.
Wait fifteen seconds.
Attach the computer's power cord.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
Then perform a Safe Boot, and then restart the computer again and retest the issue:

To start up into Safe Mode (to Safe Boot), follow these steps.
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key.
The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
After the logo appears, you should see a progress bar during startup. This indicates that your computer is performing a directory check as part of Safe Mode.
To leave Safe Mode, restart your computer without holding any keys during startup.

Whenever I download anything , my download box in tools is behaving very odd. It does not show my downloads as they are being downloaded (1) and (2), it is automatically clearing them be fore I can decide where and how to open them. Any help?

If I download files, pictures, programs, etc. the download box pops up, but rather than remaining in a list(?) so I can download later , it just pops up and then disappears. This does not allow me to scan for virus', nor does it allow me to decide , or find, the download easily. It also clears the list, even if I don't want to clear the list ! What up?

How to update resource content (XML Versioning)

How to update resource content in the resource_view?
I am trying to use XML Versioning. And not able to update the resource content using PL/SQL. Upon executing update, sql prompt says 1 row updated, but when I extract the same resource, it returns previous values. Is this a bug?
I tired the following statements:

Simple Casting in Java--Any help is appreciated

I'm new to Java programming and I'm in an introductory class in school. I'm trying to create a method that casts a double value into an integer and not sure if I'm doing this right.

Math.pow returns a double value that I need cast into an integer or I keep getting loss precision errors. Not sure how to accomplish this. Any help would be appreciated.

Right clicking on your ipod in the device list an d choosing "transfer purchases" will copy apps and bought media from iTunes to your computer. Due to the new iTunes library on your new HD, iTunes will erase your ipod during the first sync. To save your data to the computer take a look at this article about saving data from your device to a computer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
Basically it's backing up manually, transferring her purchases (apps and bought music), letting iTunes erase the ipod due to the new iTunes library, and restoring from the manual backup again, to get all the data and settings back.
Make sure your new computer account is authorized in iTunes. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your ipod, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.

Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your ipod got wiped during the first sync.

Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
There's more to try but let's go a bit at a time.
